Casually twisting the edge of the blanket between her fingers, Aire ignored most of what he said for the most part. Flipping the sheet back she slid her legs off the side of the bed to stand back to her feet with little hesiation.
Any remarks to 'lay back down' would be replied with in silence as she had no intention of doing so but lacked any further patience to even offer an arguement.
It was the one reason he'd yet to recieve a reply, even as he pressed buttons he knew to otherwise leave untouched.
He knew better, she could even tell that he was aware of the thin string he walked across now even as she smoothed the edges of her coat out and inspected her attire for any further flaws.
Aire's silence lingered far longer than usual as she picked apart his words and tore them to pieces, any discomfort he felt from her passive and unresponsive attitude was a moot point. Let him squirm, she had every right to refuse him answers when she didn't particularly like his questions or suggestions.
Suggestions, of course, if he was so bold to actually tell her what to do she'd snap his neck in a milisecond and regret it later as she usually did her more callous actions but it hardly mattered since...this was not the case.
Promise me
He was 'pleading' with her, in his usual way. His tone never changed, his expression only twisted slightly, but it was how he was and she was beginning to grow tired of his lack of depth on the surface.
Tugging a loose string from her sleeve, mindful not to fray the edge of the fabric, she finally looked up to cast him a quick glare; dark and unbridled fury, that only last for a split second.
So short, in fact, it'd burn into his eyes like an after image of light upon blinking.
"...do as you please. Act as you will." The muttered harshly, "But I've no further use for you here. Get out."
She raised a hand, flicked a stray strand of hair from her face and in the same motion pointed a thumb back at the door and gestured to it crudely.
"Out." She repeated, solidfying her silent threat with one last reminder of who was in charge here.

 AnuesThe wait for some sort of response felt like an eternity and the only indication of his anxiety was so cuff his hands together before him and stare silently out the window while biting his inner lip as she female seemed to move about casually as if he wasn't even there to begin with. He could feel the gravity within the room during those few seconds and reality quickly grew deafeningly louder within his mind before he reeled back from the hole he'd begun to dig himself into at the sound of her voice, head turning suddenly and eyes wide and alert at her being. That sense of attention would just as quickly leave Anues in favor of exhaustion at her words; unsure if it was exactly what he wanted to hear or not. In part yes but there were always moments when Aire was too harsh for even him, yet, at the same time he couldn't complain as he'd expect nothing less from the female Gardevoir.
Still, he hesitated at the order to leave. His figure teetered slightly at her words in attempt to act on it, but his mind said otherwise, keeping the male in place. He sought for reason in that fraction of a second before she would repeat herself, but there was nothing to say in the back of his mind. No reason for him not to simply leave her be. He, for the most part, got what he wanted so why the hesitation?
Then she repeated herself, and Anues' no focus way of staring into nothingness left him. He was staring at Aire again and that urging look he never even knew he held to begin with left him. Still, he didn't move. One could wonder if he even heard her speak until he himself did less than moment after. "I don't want to." The response was completely automatic, catching even he himself offguard judging by the sudden shock in his expression moments after speaking as his words registered mentally and time felt still for the entirety of the event that lased no longer than a second; though out of fear or shock, it would be impossible for him to tell. Anues drowned it out as quickly as the moment took place, shaking his head dismissively and closing his eyes as he promptly made his way for the door; his pace only quickening in the passing by. Simply teleporting didn't even cross his mind in his silent panic. As long as he was out of the same room, he was in the clear and that's just what he did, for however long it would possibly be.

She didn't even have time to snap at him for his disobedience before he'd already meekly bowed his head and made his exit.
She'd had time to register the pure terror in those pale lavender hues and it was enough to twist her stomach into knots.
Outside the room, at least, Thorn would be there with her ever-present 'I told you so' face and a cup of tea so she didn't need to worry of him for the time being.
There were other matters to attend to and she impatiently brushed her hair out of her face as she made her way to where her desk stood previously paper was picked up and stacked, a broom found its way to her hand and she went at the floor with an almost fevered madness.
This was not an important matter but she stalled, torn between leaving and forcing herself to remain in the room.
We need to talk.
But she didn't want to speak to him, she had felt herself safe, a reprieve of sorts when she believed him dead and yet he never failed to push at her nerves regardless.
You were dead. Stay dead.
Everyone she thought was dead seemed to be coming back out of the woodwork. She didn't know how to react to it.
Aire's usual reaction was wild fury, but lately she was far too tired to even bother getting angry.
Tossing the broom aside she fumbled in her pocket for her lighter and whatever cigarette she had left.
A teleport sounded before she even lit it and she was gone.
I'm coming.

(killing off the sprite because i hate it/his other one is on my other comp. Only posting to waste time.)
Anues
As quickly as he left, Anues' back was pressed against the shut door; his arms crossed as he looked down at the grass type. He gave no response to her in their silent argument. Instead, his head lifted to stare on ahead and his ears made a slight motion upward at the sound and pulse of the female's teleport in the other room. Anues' emotional wall fell at that moment as if on cue; leaving the male looking severely worn down.
"...What do I do?" The question came far more thoughtfully spoken than unsettled or confused as his head tilted and he was left staring back at Thorn. "Do I trust her, or do I go after her?" Anues pushed himself off the wall and shrugged as he casually walked by the Grass type, no longer paying heed to her existence. He was talking to himself. Aire wanted to be alone, it was as simple as that and he would give her as much. She ordered him away and so he would go away. Putting herself into danger was another case all in itself. Regardless of wanting to be alone or not, there was a directive the male held that overrode all else.
So, what did he do? He was blinded. If Aire got herself into trouble, his psychic wouldn't pick up on anything until damage has been done. If she's simply leaving her self to be, watching her at all was a waste of time.
Aire was a complicated being.
Then again, maybe he was just paranoid.
How Thorn put up with anything around here was beyond him.
