Staring at Mitsu as she placed her hand over his mouth, Shun furrowed his brow while still trying to comprehend what was going on. Hearing a loud crash from behind, he rolled onto his back again. There wasn't a great deal he could see from his point on the floor, but he was able to see the wood from the door splinter all of the sudden. It looked like Riyo had been the one to do it.

Aside from that, there was still a new voice in the mix. Where they under attack?

Shuddering as a chill ran through him, and he closed his eye momentarily as a sort of weakness hit him again. Letting out a breath, his hand slowly went towards his pocket to grab a hold of one of his blades. Whatever was going on, it likely wasn't a good thing.

Mitsu flinched back when Riyo went crashing through the door, her eyes wide trying to figure out what was happening. She heard the feline curse shortly before she heard a thud. The wolf girl wanted to cry out, ask if Riyo was okay, but she knew the feline would be mad if she did so. She had wanted her to hide after all.

Lenny straightened himself out when he saw Riyo struggling to stay upright. As she collapsed and turned to look up at him he loomed over her form his hand reaching for the collar of her shirt. Grabbing a fist full of the material he started to drag the girl upward a wicked smile starting to cross his lips. "You've done nothing to me." He assured though that didn't change the look on his face. "It's nothing personal I assure you, but I have a job to do." But what kind of job he didn't elaborate on.

Hauling Riyo up he started into the room dragging her limp body toward the bed. "At least you're not bad looking. I figured with the money I was being paid I would end up ******** two gutter tramps." Throwing Riyo down on the bed in an unceremonious manner Lenny reached for the hem of her shirt his hands snaking under it to touch Riyo's soft skin. "You feel nice too. I may just enjoy this." He made it sound like it was a chore that had been lessened.

Mitsu was in a panic over what to do. Riyo had wanted her to stay put but...what the man was saying...she couldn't let him hurt her. Being small she was able to maneuver under the bed fairly easily sliding away from Shun rather quickly. She didn't want to waste time encase the man heard her move about so she quickly reached out for the man's leg pulling herself toward him and sank her teeth into the muscle of his calf. Mitsu knew she wasn't strong enough to take his feet out from under him, at least not as she was, so this was the only other things that came to mind.

Immediately Lenny let out a yell stumbling back and away from Riyo in the process. Mitsu was firmly latched onto his leg though and ended up being dragged out from under the safety of the bed. Even so she didn't let go...at least not until she felt a jolt of electricity broad side her sending her flying back into the bed with ********! You little b***h!" Lenny hissed looking down at his injured leg. The canine had left a pretty hefty tear in his leg which was bleeding pretty steadily, unlike the wound he had gotten from the cat creature. "I think you just bumped up on my priority list." He hissed reaching down for the wolf girl to grab her around the throat and haul her to her feet.

Riyo's eyes looked confused when he said she'd done nothing to him... That it wasn't personal. Then what the hell was this?

As he continued to explain, her face paled, a look of utter shock in her eyes when Lenny revealed his true intentions.

He was going to... Oh... Oh God...

Riyo tried with all her might to lift her arms and push him away as she felt his hands slide under her shirt, but all she accomplished was a twitch of the fingers.

There was nothing she could do. She just... Had to lay there and take it.

Never in her entire life had she felt so helpless. Not even when she lived under the same roof as her mother. Abuse was one thing... Rape... That was another.

"Klyde..." She tried to cry out, waiting for him to come in and rip the guy's hands off..

But there was no such luck. Where was he? Why wasn't he here? He wasn't going to save her... Was he?

Closing her eyes, Riyo waited for the inevitable, hoping to God that Mitsu wouldn't-

... Too late. "M-mitsu!" Riyo shouted, both shocked and angry. Why didn't anyone listen to her?! Now they were both in for it.

Then she had an idea. Whether it would work or not was a little sketchy... But.

Riyo concentrated as much of her power as she could to the outside of her body, hoping it wasn't affected by whatever she'd been injected with.

Using the bed for support, Shun pushed himself to his feet, narrowing his eye as he saw the man holding Mitsu by the throat like that. He'd pay with his life for doing this. Sneering, he gripped onto his weapon, seeing the sparks around the man's body. He would have thrown something at him, but with Mitsu so close and his body feeling weak, he didn't want to risk having his aim off.

So instead, he sliced his left palm and flicked his blood towards the area behind the man. Then, grabbing onto his weapon, he teleported back there and moved to stab down into his backside with a sort of unseen fury seeded within his good eye.

Blade was finally starting to come around, but his body would not move. Fear struck him as he realized he was paralyzed right now. The medicine... it couldn't be wearing off right now could it? His eyes shot open, and though it was dark, he was still able to see. This only gave him a small bit of relief. The thief still was starting to freak out a little as he still was unable to move.

Lenny's head moved around hearing movement all around him. It sounded like the girl on the bed was trying to move but that was impossible! The sedative he had used had never failed him before. Hearing the thud he tried to pinpoint what had made the noise when he found a sudden sharp pain slicing into his back.

"AHH!" He yelled out his power spiking out of control. Mitsu was of no exception from the electric blast, letting out a choked noise of pain as it coursed through her body. Trying in desperation to put something between him and whatever was attacking him Lenny pulled away from Shun and pulled up Mitsu between them, the wolf girl nothing more than a rag doll at this point. He didn't seem to have too much trouble carting around the dead weight though, determined to use her as a shield.

Neko let out a hiss hearing the noises from the room down the hall. ********, something was going down. He could only hope he made it on time for once. Trying to force his legs to move faster he stumbled most of the way until he was at the shattered remains of the door peering in. There was a black mass in the middle of the room....why did that seem familiar?

Useless. Useless, useless, useless. She was useless, they were useless. Everyone was useless.

Slowly, the mass of black in the middle of the room began to take a shape. It was the very vague figure of a cat. A large cat...

Though... It seemed...

Incomplete.

The legs were continuously trying to form a better shape, though it couldn't seem to settle on something.

And it's face... Those frightening red eyes. Mouth full of sharp teeth agape.

It took slow, seemingly calculated steps towards the situation, a hungry look in it's eyes.

With Mitsu in Neko's hands now, Shun turned off the darkness since the man no longer was in it. Sneering at him, he dashed forth, pushing his body to the limit as he raised his knife to start stabbing and slashing furiously now. He wanted this guy dead.

"Think you can try and ******** with Mitsu and get away with it?" he hissed as he attacked relentlessly.

The spell was already beginning to wear off. He could feel it. But the assassin was straining to sustain it for as long as he needed to.

"You'll be okay..." Neko said softly placing Mitsu on the floor. He looked up just in time to see the darkness evaporate and a large creature made of black jumping passed him into the hallway. What the ******** that been from Riyo? Neko quickly looked around and saw that the said feline was gone....h..had that BEEN Riyo?

Lenny let out a wail when Shun started slashing trying his best to strike back. The assassin was much quicker though leaving multiple cuts, gashes, and large gaping wounds along his arms and chest. Finally the man collapsed in a pool of his own blood his hand still desperately clutching the knife he possessed. He coughed and sputtered, blood pouring from his mouth as he did so though a smile started to creep across his features.

"I'm afraid I'm not going alone," He sputtered before drawing his arm up to stab at Shun, his power spiking in his one arm. If possible he would fry the b*****d and take him down with him. The plan seemed like a good one until something grabbed his foot and jerked him back. Letting out a furious cry the knife clattered with the floor instead of Shun's body. Looking down Lenny saw what looked like nothing more than a mass of inky black wrapped around his leg. Following it to the source he saw Neko, the feline's eyes ablaze with anger.

"I don't know who you are," Neko growled pulling the man toward him the black starting to creep up the man's body. "But I think I might let you in on a little secret." Neko was pissed it was easy to see it in his eyes. Not only had this man attacked them all but it appeared he had been after two of the girls, one of them being Riyo. Something about that flared a special sort of anger inside him. A hatred that demanded something be done.

"I'll let you know why they used to call me the devourer." Not wanting to do anything especially with Mitsu close by Neko made his way down the hall the man being dragged behind him.

"N..no! Let me the ******** go!" The man tried to shock his way free but it only managed to break the black energy up shortly before it engulfed him again. He was going to let out another scream, something like pain over taking his eyes, but the black covered his face leaving nothing to be seen or heard.

Mitsu was struggling to get to her hands and knees, her oxygen starved body still heaving to make up for lost time. Looking back she saw the room now painted in blood and Shun in the middle of it. Her attention was only torn away as a large black creature jumped passed her and disappeared. Her eyes followed the source of where it had come from not seeing Riyo anywhere. "Ri-eh..." Mitsu's voice squeaked and failed as she tried to call out for the girl. Where had she gone?
