Seiji perched on the ground beside Bul, knees pulled up so his arms could rest across them. He'd been watching, but he hadn't really seen anything until the fog lifted. Of course what came into view at that point was worth seeing. So Jericho had been taken down by Yaya and Sharra? That was ironic, but hilarious. Shame they'd lost, though clearly they had been underestimating N.A.P.'s abilities a bit. All that rest perhaps.

"Spanked hard and left to cry in a corner," he agreed, watching as their captain and the others stomped off towards camp.

Shehk looked up at Riley when she entered, still seeming upset but forcing herself to take deep breaths.

"I won't hesitate next time. All I accomplished was shooting that damned Kelpie." she hissed. Under any normal circumstances Shehk actually liked Calder and his company, she was still being a pissed off sore loser, folding her arms and pouting, ears flattened down.

All she'd managed to do was guard the flag. Uselessly.

The djinn curls her arms around the younger boil, hugging him tightly and trying not to chuckle. It was humorous, and there was cause for celebration, but clearly the kelpi was down on himself and she do her best to be comforting. "You almost got," she assured him, smoothing a hand down snowy hair and plucking a twig from within. "And if you hadn't dragged Barth's lazy a** all that way he couldn't have shot Shehk, and we might not have won. Jack knows he wouldn't have gotten there himself."

No, left to his own devices Barth would have found a quiet corner to curl up in and would have slept through the entire match, or until someone found him and pelted him with paintballs. Come think of it, that was a rather entertaining thought. Perhaps she'd have something to look forward to in the coming matches.

She grinned, clasping her hands so they rested loosely at the small of his back. "Square in the chest, and Sharra struck him in the face. It was most satisfying." A giggle followed, and she tried to envision just how sour the other team must be from their defeat. "I suspect she is, yes. I caught a glimpse of her as she was walking back to their base camp, and she looked positively livid."

Now Yaya liked Riley, and generally didn't like to see her friends upset, game or otherwise, but she knew there was no love lost between the mindflay and the kelpi, and hearing of Riley's disappointment might cheer Calder up all the quicker.

Bul shot West and Seiji both glances expecting to be facing the next match with his wild brethren. "Dude we gotta make up for that loss.." he said to his Hungry Ghost friend while crossing his arms. His gun leaned against the side of his leg and he was itching to grab it and just open fire on the N.A.P. club participants even outside the court... but knew Riley would lose it hard.

"Well when the next one starts we'll be ready to play hard," he said though avoiding mentioning losing or winning at all costs. He knew that was the way to jinx them up real bad.
