When Duality hit the bridging Northern Lights Suplex on Freakshow, and the referee began to count, Major scrambled to his feet as quickly as he could and would try to break up the pinning predicament by aiming a stiff kick to the luchador's ribs, hoping there would be enough force behind it to knock him off of the Deific champion.

Indeed there was, and then some, knocking Duality clear to the apron.

Major's shoulder was still in a world of hurt following Freakshow's punt, but he would try to put this match away before his arm could sustain any further damage. Knowing that his shoulder only had enough in it for maybe one or two big moves, he would try to drag Freak back up to his feet. If he could get the little sleazebag up, Major would try to hoist him up in a vertical suplex lift and hang him there in order to set up the delayed drop brainbuster known as Ride The Lightning.

In a world of pain, Freakshow isn't entirely sure if the match is over... He didn't kick out, but he hadn't heard the ref hit the mat for the third time. It was only when Devastation peeled him off the floor that it sorta come to him. He's dragged up to his feet by Major, and tucked in for what could be a DDT, a suplex, a neckbreaker.. Whatever it was, if he had trouble getting out of the Northern Lights, he'd have even more trouble kicking out of this.
So when he's lifted up for Ride The Lightning, he kicks his legs and thrashes up, wanting nothing more than to survive this exchange! If this works out, he'd slip behind Devastation, then, exhausted and ever the pragmatist, Freak would turn around and go for a school boy roll up! Grabbing the tights for leverage!

At the apex of the lift, Freakshow managed to slip out and landed behind Major, where he caught the big man in a schoolboy rollup...and grabbed a handful of trousers in the process.
One... Two... Thr-NO!
Just before the ref's hand could hit the mat a third time, the Marine used his leg strength to power out of the pinning predicament, giving a howl of pain as he inadvertently put pressure on his injured shoulder. Major had absolutely no intentions of leaving the arena without his Intercontinental Championship in hand if he could help it.

Duality stood behind Major and Freakshow, limping slightly. He was picking his spot once again, waiting for Freakshow to turn around so he could try ONE MORE TIME to grab his head and attempt the Flipside DDT, but instead of kicking off the ropes to rebound for the DDT, he'd try and kick Major in the skull so he could bounce back and spike Freakshow's head into the ground.

BAM!
Major had just managed to drag himself up to one knee when Duality's boot slammed into the side of his skull, sending the Marine back down to the canvas with a glazed over look in his eyes.

Freakshow is pushed off by the force of the kickout by the big man! He lands on his back, and quickly rolls to his stomach, then pushes himself up to his feet. He has a bit of trouble gaining his footing, all the damage had been catching up to him. Ready to end this, Freak turned around, wanting to hit the ropes.. He never got around to this, as he nearly bumps heads with Duality.
It happens too quick for him to do much about it, in one swift movement, he's grabbed around the head, his opponent jumps in that air. He has no idea how the physics on this work, as he was unaware that Major was right behind him, although he probably wasn't thinking about physics at that time. Duality swings back down after rebounding off Devastation, and Freak did the only thing he knew to do, at the last second he tries shoving the masked man off of him.

And Duality fell to the mat, landing directly on the back of his head. The masked man fell to a broken heap as the audience "OOOOOHHH'ed," in shock at that horrific landing.

Freak follows up with and tries putting his weight against his opponents legs once again for a pin attempt, not unlike what you would see in the latter part of a powerbomb hold. He wasn't so much following through as he was collapsing onto the man out of exhaustion! Lucking into it, if you will. Although it couldn't be all inadvertent.. He wouldn't be grabbing the tights if it was.
