House of Salvation (Palmacosta area)

Youmu nodded when Miles said he was telling her and Ashton about Genis and the others. When Miles said that she had was able to take a room for the night, she realized how tired she was, after being dropped in several different places.
When Genis said that Ashton seemed more tired then he did, she nodded, looked at Ashton, and laughed a little bit. She then looked at Genis. "Wait, you're by yourself? Where is the rest of your group?" She thought that the regeneration group always stuck together, she didn't really think that they could all go their seperate ways.

Hope looked at the two. They didn't seem to have any clue what Pulse and Sanctum were. Well, other than the redhead, who said he'd grown up with Sanctum knights. But, Hope had the feeling he wasn't talking about Hope's Sanctum. He didn't know whether he could trust them, but one thing was for sure: he had to get out of this place and find a decent place to be before he was attacked again. And, if the guy in red was willing to help them out, it wasn't in Hope's nature to decline it. His mother would be upset, since this guy was going out of his way to help two complete strangers. "I would...appreciate your help...." Did everyone use magic here, or was it just these two a few select people? Hope was scared. If everyone used magic, what would the soldiers do once he returned home? If they detected magic on him, they'd assume he was l'Cie. And, probably Pulse l'Cie, since Sanctum Fal'Cie were dormant. Mom, what have I gotten myself into? I kind of wish I had stayed away from that portal.

Jordan wandered around the city, but she found herself not far from the three people she and the dragon had ran passed. Though she felt she should apologize more formally, she didn't know how to approach them. They looked like they were having a serious conversation. Though she liked to make friends and other things like that, she hadn't quite figured out how to just randomly walk in on a conversation between strangers. With her boss, it was easy. The guy was practically her father, and he never got angry at her. "Still, I can't just let that measely apology suffice for almost letting Jethro trample them to death...." So, she decided to just go over and see what would happen. She'd take whatever lecture she got. "You're the three who almost got trampled by my dragon, right? I'm sorry about that. He's easily frightened, and has panic attacks over the smallest things. He didn't hurt any of you, did he?" She wasn't so much concerned for the three--she was more concerned for Jethro. If they took offense, they could have Jethro put down. It's happened before in history, but never in her time as their caretaker. She wasn't going to let it happen either.

Sheena passed the dying creature, bending low to race on by as the thing fell before the attack. They seemed so easy to kill, Sheena wondered if they were using mana. Of course, yet another one of these monsters stepped into the path where she ran, but this time, Sheena wasn't going to flee. They were already getting tied up in these things, which meant leaving it all to them might be bad, depending on the numbers. Sheena leaped as she drew near it, perching on the monsters shoulder. "Pyre Seal Pinion!" She claimed, slamming a red tag into the side of the monsters head, before leaping down its back. The resounding explosion tore the monster, leaving Sheena free to proceed, at least until another one. Was mana all it took to defeat them? It seemed so, and as the creature dissolved into nothing, Sheena kept up her sprint. Triet was such a journey away, to be plagued by such strange beasts. With the other two following her, Sheena decided she would ask them questions about this land of theirs when they were far enough to make camp. If they really came from another world, they might not be the only ones here. Sheena wondered where Genis and Raine were. They were probably learning quickly about these phenomena.

Chris had leaped at the other monster, jamming the small knife into it's face and ripping it upwards to cleave where it's brain would be. As the two disappeared, Soi Fon reappeared next to Sheena, running with her. Chris soon joined them, his sword back in one piece and sheathed.
"Well, that's those three. Hope there aren't any more." He said, looking to Sheena and Soi Fon. The captain nodded quietly, her eyes on Sheena. If this girl could fight hollows, then perhaps she could be more useful than Soi Fon had assumed.

Zaul - Asgard

Zaul stroked his chin for a second as he pondered Krystal's question. "Since th' comet appeared...I reckon it's already been two months. Close t' three, tops." When Jordan approached, he just smiled at the tamer's inquiry. "Trampled? Hardly! All that matters anyhow is that we're all okay. Thank ya kindly fer yer concern..." For a moment, Zaul made slight confused expressions as he tried to figure out the gender of the person he was talking to. The quality of the tamer's voice had a trace of femininity, which caused him to almost say "ma'am", but then again Jordan could've been a prepubescent boy. Unable to tell and nearly passing the line of awkward silence, his mind forced him to go with the fairly neutral "...pal."

Rief - Palmacosta

With the comet and its deadly shadows being all the buzz these days, Governor-General Clara often felt compelled to go outside of her office and make patrolling rounds about her city, observing the mood of the people and checking if there was anything threatening approaching at the same time. Finishing a round just now, she was passing through the plaza on her way back to the city hall when she spotted a boy who looked unlike any traveler she had seen before. Or rather, she was noticing how anxious and perhaps fearful he looked as he was examining some maps. Concerned, she approached him. "Excuse me, young man, are you alright?"

Rief made a startled jolt when he was suddenly addressed by the blonde-haired woman, and quickly rolled up his maps. "U-um...yes ma'am...I'm just kind of...er, lost."

Clara smiled comfortingly in the hopes of getting him to be less nervous. A motherly instinct was starting to kick in. "I'd be glad to help clarify things for you. Why don't you come to my quarters for a word? We might attract too much attention staying here."

The young Mercury Adept wasn't too sure what the woman meant by that, but she seemed docile enough, which made him feel safe. "O-oh, if it isn't too much trouble, ma'am..."

"It's not a problem at all. Right this way."

Rief found himself being led to the rather important-looking building nearby. There were guards at the entrance who bowed in respect and opened the doors for her as she approached. Once they were in, official-looking people who were walking about would stop in their tracks for a second and do the same as she passed by. Upon reaching her personal office, Clara closed the door behind them and gestured for the boy to take a seat.

As she took her own seat behind her desk, Rief eyed her with astonishment. "Forgive me if this sounds rude, but...just who are you, ma'am?"

Clara smiled again, finding it intriguing that he truly had absolutely no idea who she was at all. "My name is Clara, and I am the Governor-General of this city of Palmacosta."

Rief's eyes practically popped upon learning right then and there the status of this woman. Embarrassed, he gave a bow of due respect in his seat. "O-oh dear. M-my apologies, Miss Clara, I hadn't... I am not familiar with this world. I am Rief, by the way."

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, Rief. You need not apologize. I understand. Even while Aselia was whole, were you staying primarily in Tethe'allan territory?"

"I-I....wha...no..." He fidgeted while mustering the courage to explain his situation. Clara stared him intently with curiosity while he hesitated, but kept a calm and pleasant demeanor to help him relax. "...P-please don't think me insane, but...what I meant by that was that I am from a completely different world altogether..."

Chris and Soi Fon stuck with Sheena the entire run to Triet, never once showing any signs of fatigue. Neither of them seemed to notice the heat either, despite their black clothing.
"Glad we haven't hauled out the Gigai yet." Chris muttered, "We'd be roasting in this heat." Soi Fon said nothing, looking to Sheena. The entire time they had been running they had both avoided speaking in order to keep their eyes and ears open to sight or sound of hollows, but it seemed that they were relatively safe for now. Now it was time to teach Sheena about the Soul Society.
"We're ready to tell you, whenever you're ready." The captain said, pulling a small object from a fold in her robes.
"You sure about this Captain? What if she doesn't handle it well?" Chris whispered.
"She'll be fine. It's better than finding out when a hollow attacks." Soi Fon whispered back, holding the object carefully.

Asgard Ryu Hayabusa
Ryu spoke in a somewhat irritated voice. "Hmph, its not wise to use a dragon as a meaning of transportaton."

He then turned to Krystal, and bowed. "Pleased to meet you"
After hearing Zauls question about being brought here, Ryu Pulled out his Katana and stared into it. It can't just be a coincidence...One is not just sent to a whole new world for no reason, I feel that I am here to aid in a war...If I can..." He then turned to Zaul and Krystal. "I would like to investigate further-" He was then interrupted by the new comer approaching, hearing the persons question, he replied: "I am fine, thank you for your concern. However...What about you? Its not often I see someone wrestling with a dragon, are you injured in any way?"
