Kamal often puts his herd and his duty before himself and even his family. he wants to impress his father, and prove he'll be a good king when his father retires. Kamal is extremely open minded compared to his father being surrounded by strong mares. Kamal still believes traditions shouldn't be forgotten. Kamal is very dedicated to his herd and family. Kamal is stern when he must be and regal, but has a kinder visage than his father but don't mistake that for a weakness. Kamal's sword will swiftly come down if a threat is present.

Plots
The line of kings - It was not acceptable for an heir to remain a batchelor for long. With the lack of knowledge of other herds Kamal set out of find a suitable mate to produce children with.
Lessons in swordplay - Kamal takes his son out to the desert accompanied by his daughter to watch only to find his daughter takes to the sword better than his son. He gives his daughter her first lesson on a whim. Realizing this would not bode well for the future
What would Father do? - Kamal is faced with a decision in which he chooses his father's path instead of his own.
My Rebellious daughter - Kamal watches Sooraya but heads with her grandfather more often. He forbids Sooraya from watching training anymore and to spend more time with his mother in order to please his father.
A new mate - His father breaks his marriage to Basira because of her inability to produce a strong son. Kamal must find a new wife.
Become his own - The time is nearing for Kamal to take his father's place. he contemplates what kind of Sheik he wants to become and realizes he is not his father.
