Izzy nodded and removed her glasses, something she never did before. "Yes...i know who they are. They are descendants of those that first used the Omega Energery, before it was sealed away by Isis. I am afraid they have greater power than those lizards...we need to get the big machines running as soon as possible. You know I will work around the clock if need be but it must be done."

*Evan watched Kira board the transport carefully.* Back to normal already? Hopefully this isn't a case like the The Bulk and she changes into a monster when angry. Also male. I'll have to remember not to piss her off...
*After they returned to the base and were told to hand over their devices, he moaned a bit at the request.* We just got them though! *Looking at the device on his wrist, then to the soldier collecting them, he sighed a bit and handed it over.* Fine, fine. I hope theres something more awesome as compensation though. *Crossing his arms in a huff, he then was informed of the debriefing.* Now we have to go listen to some boring meeting?? I'm starving though! Oh well, I can always fall asleep during it like school I guess until lunch.
*Following the others, he went to the conference room for the debriefing. Not wanting to speak up first and draw attention, he waited to see who would take charge. More importantly, see where the clock in the room was so he could watch it painstakingly by in anticipation to get out of there, despite having only just entered.*

Hiro looked over Kira. "No ide..." he tried to say before Flowers cut him off.

Flowers looked over each of the five Koukengers before he spoke. "First of all, I wanted to tell you all well done today. Now I am sure you have questions, but before, I would like to hear what happened out there."

The commander took a seat while the rangers each gave their own telling of events.

"I see." He said as Evan finished up his report. "Thank you. Now, considering the circumstances I'll you to ask questions. It was far from standard military procedure for a commander to do such of thing. However as Flowers pointed out to himself, this was far from a normal situation. He would be careful though. "Yes, Mr Takada?"

"Yes sir. What exactly were those lizards?" Hiro asked.

Flowers was certain he knew the answer or had an idea, but he also realized that Hiro might be trying to inform/help the other recruits.

"We have little information on them," Robert said. "Based on our findings, we believe they came from the dimension that the source of OE lies in. Not much more is known, except that they seem to be composed of Omega Energy and they appear to be tribal."

"I see." Hiro responded. He had a feeling who it might be.

"Any other questions?"

Hiro raised his hand again. "When well we get our changers back?"

"Excellent question. As we speak, your Kouken Braces are being anaylzed from your first battle. They will be modified and returned to you shortly."

"Understood."

"Any more quesitons..."

One of the warrior "lizard" survivors from the battle had just made his way back safely to his home tribe.

It wasn't much. Several hut dwelling made of "rock and mud" surrounded a main gathering place while a bigger hut stood apart from the others. It was organized however. While dark and plain, it looked like the huts were aranged in a circle while the main one was in a straight line from the gathering place.

Other red tribe Manians were there. Hissing in to each other in their own language. They turned to see the one approach the main hut which was guarded by two sentries armed with spears. Hissing to them, the lone solider made it past them and walked up the stone steps.
"What?" A voice boomed out as soon as survivor appeared in the doorway.

Weeee were defeeeeated." The solider hissed back. "One of them was the one from before."

"What?!" the voice boomed again before another came out. Calming the first down.

"It's okay. Soon, we'll be able to launch a full scale assault."

A growl was all that answered him. Meanwhile another red Manian tribe soldier stood outside preparing with his fellow tribesmen for battle while a single one looking out accross the barren, rocky plain spotted something. Hissing loudly, the others sprung into action.

((I would ask have Hiro ask more, but I figured I'd let some other people ask a few questions. Though this debriefing is only meant to be short. Like a few posts of dialogue. We gotta get our Kouken Braces/morphers back after all and advance the plot. razz ))

*Silently, Evans stomach roared out. He couldn't sleep through the debriefing due to this, and the sore bruised areas that kept reminding him of his endured beatings throughout the fight added to it. More twitchy to get out of there than to be stuck, he waited until everyone asked their questions. Having some inquiry of his own, he wanted more out of there than to have things answered at the moment.*

((Hop, skip and a jump to the next day. Everyone can be assumed to resting up and doing their own things during the rest of the day.))

*Entering the room Theus had setup to talk to the rangers, Evan looked around a bit before taking the chair Theus motioned to. Having just had a pre-lunch snack, he was ready for things to take as long as they needed to this time around. Though he was hoping it would go by quickly all the same.*
So we're already having reviews on how we did on top of yesterday's? Yeesh, this is worse than school.
This isn't a performance review. More a means to learn certain things.
Sounds like school to me... So anyways do I get my watch back yet?
Watch? You mean the Kouken Brace? Yes.
*Theus handed over the device. Taking it and putting it back on his wrist, Evan glanced over it and whistled a bit with a smirk. It had orange and yellow coloring and resembled a cheetah and a falcon very slightly, much as how his helmet reflected the animals.*
So you just wanted to give it a face lift?
There were some other modifications as well. Simply put, it works better.

So... *Evan looked around.* Are we mutating horribly into other gendered monsters??
*Theus shook his head, unsure of how such a thick headed individual was blessed with the genetics to participate in the group.* My research shows that you won't mutate like that. You all have changed and that evolution will continue, but not to the degree your imagining.
*Evan then continued to look around the room, seeming more infatuated with the odd things around than talking or answering anything. Ignoring this, Theus continued.* In combat, you were wanting more of a close range weapon. Yes?
Yeah. Those laser guns are nice and all, but it didn't help much once they got in too close.
I noticed you use it as a blunt instrument.
You liked that I bet! It certainly helped a bit more.
So if I developed a weapon for such use for you?
I'd definitely use it. I'd rather bash cave-lizards and dog-faced monsters in their ugly faces anyways.

*Checking something off on a clipboard he had, he continued onwards. After further, but brief, questioning he took out a small device.* I want you to play this.
A video game?!! Sweet!
It is more than a video game in a sense. You put it on over your head and it works with motion. I want you to use this at least two hours a day. Not all at once though.
*Moving the visor-helm looking device around and grinning big, Evan simply nodded in agreement.*
You can go now.
I had you all wrong doc. At first I thought you were some nerdy and creepy person, but after giving me this free video game, I can tell we're going to get along!

*Theus simply shook his head as Evan walked out of the room. Letting out a large sigh and sitting in his chair for a few seconds, he turned and pressed a button.*
Send in the next member. *Rushing over to his room, Evan put on the visor device and began playing the "game" that Theus had given him. It relayed quick flashes of images and was a dodging game, working on slight motions to avoid incoming "missiles."*

Kira was laying on her bed, looking at the ceiling. She was thinking about Bertil, wondering what he was. He said that he was her guardian, but that still did not tell her what kind of creature he was, especially when he did not look like an angel in his other form. She liked him, but she barely knew anything about him. She always plays it safe, but it was hard to resist when she felt how much he cared about her. "I need to know who he is before falling all over him." She said to herself.

((I'm going to imply Ryu and Kira's process just to speed things up. It is meant to be a short transitional thing which is why Evan's part is slightly skipped as will be Hiros. We will then do whatever Flowers has planned for some character development time together.))

*Adjusting his glasses a bit, he looked up to Hiro after scanning over his clipboard.* Yes. I'll skip right to the point since we've delt with one another before and I know your not going to be nearly like the last member who was in here. *Theus took out the purple and blue Kouken Brace and handed it to Hiro.* This isn't the first time I've had to modify the brace for you, and it probably won't be the last. *Clicking his pen, he proceeded to be ready for marking Hiro's upcoming response.* In combat I noticed you resorted to needing bladed weaponry. Would this be something you preferred for a weapon?

*Theus made a mark on his clipboard, before going onwards with some minor questioning like he did with Evan. After a few minutes passed, he took out another device handing it over to Hiro. It was a sophisticated looking headset attached to an input device.* I want you to use this at least two hours every day. It should help with honing your abilities further. You may go now Hiro.

*After Hiro left the room, Theus had them send in the next member of the group. Cycling the same questions, giving them an item to use, and making notes of impressions not only of their answers to such things as weapon choice but their individual personalities, he went through the other rangers in the group in a similar manor. After the last one had left, he moved his chair over to his computer and began crunching the information into the blueprints he already had, reworking bits and pieces of them while multitasking on actually creating them.

Evan all the while continued to play the "game". He found it primitive, but didn't enjoy getting such a low score and being beaten so easily. The movement speed of the objects in the visor was just too fast for him to keep up with after a very short period, and intentionally so.*

*A medium sized ship entered the orbit of the Moon, cloaked to the limited Earth technology employed even by OASIS. The ship hung in the orbit of the moon, stopping in it's movement and waiting out of sight from any visual equipment in the orbit of the nearby planet. Three more smaller ships came up behind it, supporting the small fleet's main one. On board the larger of the four spacecrafts, the captains chair was turned away from the view screens. Several images popped up, each of the commanding officers of that ship reporting in. The first to speak up was a creature resembling a mix of feline and reptilian characteristics.*

I suggest ripping the planet apart quickly. The opposition won't see us coming and we can easily acquire our target after a quick siege.
Let us not be too hasty, Zahiden. We should think of a stronger plan of action than simply rushing them.
Tssk. If we follow your plant of action we will be at this for months.
*Sighing, the figure sitting in the captains chair spun around revealing themselves. They didn't like having to play mommy to the crew, but it was a needed event every time they were told to conquer a new area.* Enough Zahiden, Nagiura. We don't need to bicker.
*Motioning, a screen was brought up by one of the navigators. Multiple scans of information came on screen. Mulling it over for a moment, he turned to Nagiura, the large demon looking mammal-type creature.*

When I give the order, go with two of your generals and attempt to destroy the target I give you. I will need to go over the information on this planet a bit more. It is very.. *pausing for a moment to find the words, he shifted his glance a bit.* tangled. Despite being a very primitive planet with only one dominate species, they have quite a bit of broken and uneven ways about them. A very tangled planet indeed.
*Nagiura nodded, did the customary salute, then signed off from the viewing screen. Zahiden crossed his arms in a huff and let out an odd clicking-growl sound.*
So more waiting on more waiting?? Just let me at them and I'll rend this planet to shreds before they can complete one of their slow rotations.
I know your wanting to speed into combat Zahiden, but this requires some careful planning. Several planets have been known to have trump cards which can become costly.
They will become rubble to us if they do!
Yes, but we must look at the efficient way to do this as always. I'll give you a special mission outside of our scope however if it will help. A planet two solar systems over had some minor materials we could use.
*Letting out the clicking-growl noise again, he tapped his foot impatiently for a second or two, hen uncrossed his arms.* Such a boring errand, but it will be better than waiting. I'll be back shortly then. *With that, Zahiden also left the conversation. The ship he was on turned from the others and flew off to the coordinates fed to him.

Letting out a small sigh, the leader spun back around in his chair and relaxed.*
Such troublesome individuals I must command. This really is much more work than I wish to endure, but at least the rewards are great. *Turning back to the viewing screen, he began to read through the various information on Earth, it's customs, laws, religion, technology, and a multitude of other tidbits on the planet looking for a way to crush it without having to dirty his hands.

On Nagiura's ship, he began preparing for battle. Going through, he checked to make sure they had enough supplies to do a large enough invasion. As he checked through things, another alien in multiple layers of clothing with two horns coming out of it's head and a long, coyote looking face came out of the shadows. *
Good, it is you Serrjaa. I need you to ready yourself for combat. When the word is given, we will conquer this blue and green planet for our own.
... If it needs to be done, so be it.
The way it appears, this should be another quick mission. We may not even need to use more than this ship's forces.
I wouldn't underestimate this planet.
Oooo? *The faintly seeming gorilla creature let out a heartly laugh at his subordinate's opinion.* Sir Ludicael has yet to fail at his conquests. This small insignificant planet will simply be another tally to our grandness.
There is something more to this mission, and this planet. I can't place it yet, but it is a feeling I get. Just be careful sir, things aren't what they seem.
*Shaking his head and laughing some more, Nagiura continued what he was doing. Serrjaa went out of the room, going to meditate a bit and try and figure out the odd feeling he was having.*
