Emma was not able to knee him, but he made no attempt to dodge the blunt spike her ki created. She didn't plan on letting Darion grab her arm and knocked his arm away at his wrist to keep him away. He could try to grab her arm as much as he liked, but he'd be met with the same resistance. She doubted touching his palms would be such a good thing, so she was on her defensive.

Emma had a look of slight confusion on her face, she didn't feel a thing. That one hit was nowhere near enough to harm her, even less so to knock her out. "Apology accepted, but you'll have to do much more than that to harm me." Emma was frozen so she didn't have to worry about being knocked on to the ground really. "Would you like to try again?" Emma asked, holding on to her scythe with both hands, she was preparing to attack, but she wanted to see what he did first.

Emma dropped her scythe to the ground instantly and aimed her fist at her face, most at her mouth so she could get it before it reached her nose. She gathered her ki and struck as hard as possible without even touching herself, breaking the ice apart. As much as she'd love to give Darion another go at that, she also liked to breathe. She watched her arm slow and eventually stop, frozen again...lovely. "You won't win fighting like that." She guessed the ice didn't self-repair itself so she was at least allowed to take in air.


Lunar Basics: Strike

The user punches at the foe, and their Ki takes physical form, striking the foe in a ball shape, about 2 feet in front of the fist, or shorter if the foe is closer. This attack causes painful bruises.

Emma didn't worry about losing her balance, she was okay enough with falling if it meant escape. She backed up to make sure she wasn't near if he tried that same trick again. "I won't be beaten so easily..." Emma said silently as she stood up, shielding her eyes with one arm so the other could continue the assault. Directly near him wasn't the best place to make a stand so she crouched low and used the same technique again, a black ki spike forming once more, aimed at Darion. It was more of a warning strike this time. She didn't need to touch him, but she did need to follow the motions.


Lunar Basics: Rise

The user performs a rising knee strike, and a circle of Ki is created on the ground. The circle can be anywhere from right in front of the user to about 2 feet away. At the same time as the strike, a spike shoots up from the circle at a 60 degree angle, and causes painful bruises on contact.

"You can borrow it, just don't break it or anything, it's rusted over." Emma said, not afraid of the scythe in the least. "Come on, show me what you can do with that thing." Emma said, he wasn't even trained so she showed no sign of worry. "And I don't feel pain so we can go until something happens." Emma reassured him, if he went crazy she could take him on. Her ki spiked up at that exact moment, maybe now it'd be a real fight instead of him just dancing around his frost. She'd enjoy that since it'd be a nice change.

Emma would have been shocked at his actions if she knew the meaning of the word feeling, but she simply sighed. "You'd better, it wasn't yours to shatter." Emma pointed out, no in an angry tone, but an impassive one that showed no emotion still. She charged him, but didn't attack, she planned on counter-attacking him since she knew her limits. And because of her weak body she knew a straight attack would likely end this spar quickly.

Emma took the handle with zero damage, she didn't even flinch. She threw a straight punch at Darion's chest. For now her only option was to hit him until he went down, she doubted he'd just give up, that's what made it fun. She still had her backup plan waiting though, so his weapons did not frighten her.

Emma figured this was still regular ice, still easily broken by a heavy impact. She hit her arm again without touching it and the ice shattered once more. "You don't have to keep saying sorry to me." Emma said, noting he was being a bit too nice to have a serious spar with, she could help but feel a small bit guilty for fighting somebody that acted this way, it was easier to fight people that wanted her dead. She swung at Darion's arm with the same technique she just used on herself a second ago to free her arm again.


Lunar Basics: Chop
