Raya caught the gloves, "Fine with me. But hold on a moment." She went into the bathroom and changed out of her jeans into some biking shorts. Then, she sat the gloves on the ground and opened up a panel in her left shoulder. There was a tiny, touchscreen keypad under the panel and she quickly typed in a sixteen digit code. The keypad beeped and a bar that was half blue and half red appeared on the screen. She moved the slider down towards the blue, bringing her arm down to normal, human strength. She closed the panel and watched as the skin formed back over, becoming flawless. She went back out into the dojo and pulled the gloves on, bouncing from foot to foot and throwing a few mock punches, "Alrighty then, let's go." She dropped into a Tangs Soo Do offensive stance.

Raya smirked, "Really? I think I'm better than you want to admit." She nodded to Misha and Gregory when they walked in, then said to Astrayl, "Yeah, my arm's acting up again. I turned it down, but I think it went lower than it was supposed to." She jumped into a spinning kick, throwing more strength into it than she had intended.

Shai sat next to Misha and Gregory, "She's working herself too hard. That arm can only hold up for so long." She did worry about her partner, maybe more than was necessary.

Raya chuckled, "My legs are always fine. And as for stamina... Well, you know how I keep that up." She picked up a bottle of water from out of her bag and guzzled it. She wiped sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand and grinned at Misha, "Hey Misha, how'r you?"

Shai shook her head, chuckling, "Must you be so insufferably vulgar?" She bent down and bumped her nose against Molly's, then sat up and yawned, "It is too early for an old tigress to be out of her bed." She thought about the unfinished paperwork that Raya had on her desk, but she didn't mention it.

Basil had woken up nicely this morning, he had planed to go to an art show he heard about today, maybe he still will, but currently he was out on his balcony after brekfast and just takeing in the fresh air, when he noticed a gun shot, and in a crowed of people screaming, there was a man in red that had seemed to take that shot...in the face, his cyber optic eyes zooming in, already on work as to the trajectory and after a few seconds, he looked in that direction, up on a hotel, all he saw was a shadow, of what appeared to be a woman. "damn nice shot, hardy, i have to go sadly you cant follow this time, cant have anyone getting trampled, this is to public."

Hardy looked up "what...hmmm oh fine, just dont expect me to save your a** when you manage to pin em in a cornor and then get it reversed."

Basil laughed, placeing a hand on the rail flinging himself over, he was only two floors up and as he fliped over it he clinged back to the wall, slideing down droping to the next balcony and then the ground, he ran after near the building, his eyes again scaning everything in sight, there wereonly a few buildings that could be gotten onto from the hotel, well without dieing anyway, he kept running. pulling out his cell phone he dialed the chief and then put the phone away speaking through the ear peice "pick up the damn phone." as soon as she answered he didnt give her time to talk "hey cheif, another dead, possibly the same killer as the last, most likely female, in pursuite now." he continued to run, but now down an alley way, between the few places the killer could go, he ran back out into a crowed of people noticeing many, but a few in perticular fit the possible proportions of the disfigured shadow he had seen, if it wernt for his cybernetic eyes, he would be compleatly lost here. he followed the person he thought possible she had something over her shoulder, possibly a bag for the gun she used, she was the only out of the few with one. if she ran he had her, if not then he could keep following for now, see where she goes, but he didt doubt that she had seen him already.

Raya grumbled when he phone rang. She answered it, but before she had time to say anything, that infuriating Rhino Corp man's voice came on. She was about to cut him off and berate him, but stopped when she heard what he was saying. She narrowed her eyes, then hung up, "We'v got to go. Shai, get ready. There's been another murder, and this time it looks like we could get the killer." She went and changed into her uniform quickly, nodding to Misha and Gregory when she came out of the bathroom, "Feel free to tag along." She traced Basil's call, finding his location, then she turned and told Misha where he was.

Shai stood up and followed after her partner. They left the building at a run, jumping into the car and spinning wheels out of the lot. Raya drove erratically, but with an expert's reflexes. It didn't take her long to come to the street where the suspect was. Shai caught sight of one of their better detectives and said to her partner, "There's Miller." Her and Raya jumped out of the car, rushing after the detective, the Rhino Corps officer, and the killer.

Raya caught up with Steven, "Hey, Steve. How's it going?"

Raya ground her teeth together in agitation, "Look you damned p***k, do you seriously think she didn't know you were following her? Now shut the hell up and run, we know who we're chasing."

Shai sighed and picked up the pace, passing Basil with long strides.
