Yagura Sumimura Yagura knew that it was time to cut his loses. He could not get onto the offensive without being pressed by another attack. Hikari proved himself to be a capable ninja and a formidable swordsman. It was time to call it quits for the moment. Relaxing his stance, the Jounin placed the butt of his trident on the ground and put his free hand into the air. "Alright, I concede defeat," said Yagura. A smile formed on his lips as he gave up the challenge verbally. This was the most fun he'd had in a while, up until Hata-Te came close to destroying his weapon. That would have beem devastating to lose an extension of himself. "That... was enjoyable. Sadly, things did not go in my favor, but life rarely does." Looking over to the water, he could see Yukio. She had been watching the spar. Was he a failure in her eyes? Wait... why should he care what she thought of him?

Hikari, unable to stop his jutte from striking forth, was suddenly overcome with the blunt blades bloodlust. It wanted to kill Yagura. "Blood. Blood. BLOOD!" Hikari thought these words to himself as he brought his jutte down, pupils glowing a red color. Eyes widening, he altered the position of the blunt weapon, striking himself in the knee, feeling his kneecap crack due to the force. "There...that work Hata-te...?" Hikari, gritting his teeth now, let the jutte slide past his knee now, stabbing it into the dirt, it stopping Nami-Tan from moving any further. Hikari, flipping back upon the hilt of the jutte, grasped Nami-Tan by the cloth, landing upon the ground, spinning the large blade within his grasp, sheathing it, releasing the cloth. Bending down upon his cracked knee, he sighed slowly, not showing any signs of pain from it. Eyes cold and now gray once more, Hikari grasped his Hata-te from the ground, lifting it up, slamming the blade itself against the dirt, sheathing it afterwards. It had actually tried to control him again. Horrible. Standing up now, Hikari took notice of Yagura who was now, at this time, looking at Yukio. Hikari nodded his head slowly, understanding. "I see, so you like her, huh? Alright then, how about YOU take her out instead then?" Hikari smirked for a moment before his knee pulsed. Left knee was starting to hurt him. He wouldn't have a chance to go out on any date. He needed to get it seen. However, during all of this, he kept his face passive as he usually always did, eyes as cold as ever.

Hikari, looked at Yukio dead on, taking notice of her...worked up anger or something. Was she...angry? She thought that she was a...prize? She got it now? Got what? ......Err....what exactly was going on at the moment? Hikari lifted up a hand, scratching the side of his face, wondering why females always seemed to get angry over nothing. It always seemed as though the opposite gender to the male, always seemed to get in the way of something. Females just didn't understand somethings that they couldn't see clearly, that was for sure. Shaking his head now, Hikari turned in her direction, seeing her walk away. Kay, maybe he SHOULDN'T have offered her off like she was a prize. 'Course, he hadn't thought of her as a prize in the first place. And hey, she'd agreed to go out anyways, so he thought that it'd be fine to change it up a bit. Either way, she was mad about something, and he felt the need to calm her down. With....Ninja-Like methods. Hikari, his knee-cap turning into water (due to his Umi-clan nature, as well as ability to transform himself into water) quite easily caught up, dashing forth, right behind Yukio. Opening his arms wide, he wrapped them around her body, atleast, attempted to, whispering to her, "Now Now, no need to get so angry about it. How about you tell me what you want, and then i'll see what I can do...?"

Hikari seemed the chuckle a bit, rejecting his former personality for a moment before he regained hsi composure, answering her question with another question, though being straightforward near the end of it. Hey, if she wanted an answer, she would have to be patient. "Well, how would you feel if you were close to striking your opponent, thinking that he would dodge, only to find that he gave up, stopping his movements, only when you yourself tried to stop, you found yourself unable to move your arm in which your bloodthirsty blade was in. How would you stop your bloodthirsty blade from striking your opponent whom had already given up? It wanted to strike something, so I gave it a nice substitute. After all, if Hata-ta had struck Yagura, then this entire thing would have gotten rather...out of hand. Well, that's the reason I damaged my own knee, but truthfully, I can barely feel a thing." Hikari whispered all of this to Yukio, blowing upon her neck with each and every word.

Hikari could tell that she was enjoying the conversation....a bit. But now, there was something odd with her. Was she....scared? For some reason, he could sense that vibe from her. He didn't know why, he he could hear it in her voice. It was as though, at the same time as her being afraid, she was in awe, but then again, also as though...underestimating Yagura. If it had been a real battle, Hikari felt as though Yagura possibly would have been able to win. The guy looked as though he would have done anything to save his trident. But it had been only a spar, and as such, nothing serious had happened. Frowning, as though in concentration, Hikari spoke back to Yukio, in an even tone, scratching the back of his head now, his white hair still as straight as ever as he did so. "I see, so it's that obvious? Thanks for such kind words. I'm mean the applauding. Any weapon can sow destruction Yukio, but it matters upon the weilder, the one who holds the weapon. As long as the weilder's will is strong enough, then the weapon will not take control. Those who give into temptation...those who hurt others without reason, without even attempting to stop themselves...to strike without hesitation...it is something I could never do. It is true that the strongest ninja are able to do that, but I find it my fatal flaw at times...." Sighing a bit, Hikari squeezed Yukio a bit more, only before releasing her, thinking for a moment before doing something that no one would expect. Unsheathing Nami-Tan, Hikari twirled it within his grasp for a moment before throwing it in Yagura's direction, hilt first. "Take it. You could do better with it, expecially with your skills with weapons...Much better than I could." Hikari, now turned towards the lake, walked towards it, nodding towards Yukio for a moment before stepping upon the water. "I am afraid our date will have to wait Yukio. Expect some...unclothed fun when I return however..." Smirking for a moment, Hikari, walking into the water, felt his body merge with it, as then, as soon as his head submerged, he dissapeared, one with the lake. He would head out to search for the scroll once more....and if possible, he would take out the owner of it....

~: And just like that, he was gone before Yukio could say a word or REGISTER what he had near promised. Because of his words, she blushed wildly with ..embarrassment? No. No one else heard Hikari speak to her. Maybe it was admiration.. Yeah. Admiration. Especially for the fact that he admits to his flaws openly, while she hides behind her's in denial.
Or she could admire him for his straight-forward approach. But as he squeezed her before leaving, the mist had cooled her down and for some odd reason, she didn't like that feeling. So before she could catch herself, she eyed Hikari like a hawk as he submerged himself and disappeared. Yukio even forgot that he discarded his Nami-Tan- Wait! He gave it to Yagura? Could he have a conquest for a more powerful weapon?
Turning to Yagura, she put her hands back to her sides that had clasped to her chest earlier and fixed her hair before backing up and continued on her path to the other side of the lake and discover what else she could. Perhaps a form of healing ninjutsu for another person's bones, instead of her own. But how could she go about doing that without harming that person?
One day, Yukio will figure it out. But until then, she wanted to rest and replenish the few chakra she lost, though it's not a significant amount, she still began to doze off by a nearby tree that just barely covers her existence. :~

Yagura Sumimura Yagura didn't understand anything that happened. First, he was almost hit with the jutte known as Hata-Te. Then Yukio came to some strange realization that this whole spar was about obtaining her. She was no prize that he knew of. All he knew was that she was a young woman with a rare bloodline. Then came the most unusual part of the whole thing, Nami-Tan was being given to him. Extending his hand, Yagura snatched the sword out of the air. It appeared that Yukio was surprised at the act of him receiving the sword, but he didn't care. He watched her back away from him until she left, then turned his gaze back to his new blade. It was dangerous, but also his now. Turning away, he walked from the area.

Grinning to herself, Rika was ready for this fight. It had been a long while since she had the chance to fight someone that was close to her abilities. Even Houkou was exciting, stirring inside of her for the battle to come. First thing was first, she created a Shadowclone and sent it to the bottom of the lake. There is would collect the necessary chakra for her. Looking back towards the way she came, she saw that the man was nearly there. Once he settled down on the ground, she grinned at him from behind her mask.
"So, you want the scroll? Answer me this...do you simply wish to sign it or are you trying to take the role of Sage from me?" She crossed her arms, her masked face seeming impassive. Depending on his answer, that would be how she fought him. He wouldn't aim to kill her in the beginning, he would never gain the scroll to learn summoning from if he did. Even Ichiro couldn't obtain the scroll at this point.

Hikari, frowning as he always did before a battle, Hikari landed upon the water of the lake. Looking at her as she asked the question, Hikari closed his eyes, as though thinking to himself. Parting his lips, he spoke. "I want the scroll, not need. I wish to sign it, and at the same time, if I do, I know that I will be unable to unlock the full powers of said scroll, seeing as you are currently alive, and/or are in possesion of the scroll. Basically, I wish to sign the scroll, yet at the same time hold it. If you would be so kind as to fight me for it though, I wouldn't say no. Besides, I am no femnist, not at all. And seeing as you are the strongest of the both of us, i'd rather see if I could take you down, even with this gap. Then again, how about we go with conditions here. If I win, I get to sign the scroll, and take it from your possesion, as well as strip you naked. If you win, you obtain my Hata-te, and you get to see me naked. Fair trade is it not?" Hikari had simply added the nudity for no particular reason at all.

Shaking her head, Rika's voice was not amused. "This is serious business...even if the scroll was in your possession, it would not do you any good. The Elders would never recognize you as the Sage...even if you did kill me. Ichiro is next in line for Sage status. Just because you have the signing scroll, that doesn't mean you can just be a sage." She popped her neck and grinned behind the mask. "However...I will fight you for the opportunity to sign it. If you can impress me, I will allow you to sign the scroll...but if you fail, you will not be able to do so ever again. And we won't be getting naked."
That was a terrible wager on his part, did he honestly think that she would go through with such a hair brained scheme? "So...make your choice. If you wish to wait until a later date to challenge me, so be it. But you get one shot and I am ready now if you are. First move is yours." He wasn't stupid, she thought anyways. He knew that she was indeed stronger than he was, perhaps it was obvious because she was the Jinchuriki or perhaps he just knew she had more training. Either way, his best chance was to give her a good fight if he intended on signing the scroll. "But...in the off chance you do beat me...I will train you personally. But if you lose as bad as I believe you will, then you must return to the Mist village as a shinobi. No more of this rogue nonsense."

Hikari, listening to Rika's suggestions only thought of one thing. The win. Nothing more than that, nothing less. It seems that even if he did kill her, the next in line would be her student. But then again, what would happen if he killed her student? Of course, even with these thoughts, Hikari had never once thought of killing her over the scroll at all. No, he didn't rough it up with ladies that kind of way, not at all. So, it seemed that if he could impress her, he could have the scroll hm? Well then, he just had to impress her. Even if he only got one shot, should he waste it here? Perhaps....but then again, there was the chance that she would defeat him as well. Of course, seeing as the end of the war was coming up, and she would be going into battle again, now was a better time than any. Unsheathing his jutte, Hikari threw forth two kunai in Rika's direction, dashing after them, attempting to strike her with a simple slash. If one were to look closely, it could be seen that tied to the butt of the jutte, there was a string of wire...
