"This would be free," Serenity said with a mischievous smile. "I wouldn't want you to die before you could pay me. And..." Her face became solemn. "I will teach you on the condition that you swear never to tell anyone about it. The shape-changing magics have been lost for centuries, and some wish it to stay that way. It is a dangerous power to have."

"I will consider your offer, thank you. However, I don't wish to decide now." Sapherone replied, still wary of Serenity's offer. She couldn't help but wonder if she would be trapped in an undesireable form by some horrid accident, or worse, harm her body irrepairably. She would need time to ponder the pros and cons of this magic, surely. "You have my word, though, that I will not disclose such secrets regardless of my decision."

"Good," Serenity said with a smile. "Because if you speak of such power to anyone, I am required by the laws of my people to kill you and tear out your tongue to mark you as one who betrayed the only secret my people have worth keeping. Something I'd rather not do, as I prefer to be paid by services rendered, but I'd also like to go back to my people someday. Serenity sighed softly. "I should be finding a bed soon. I have been awake for far too long." She yawned as discreetly as possible.

"Very well. I will remain here for a few moments longer, and if I don't hear anything of my mate, I'll be out camping in the forest nearby." Sapherone stated, wondering if she'd even hear anything of interest. Still, there was always hope, right?

Glon walked forward, not looking where he was going, and accidentally tripped--over a diminutive goblin who was following a pair of women. "Oh! Sorry!" Glon apologized, not wishing to offend, meaning that he didn't want to offend the women, who looked rather terrifying.

Sapherone's first reaction was to help up the goblin - Gizlep - and ask, "Gizlep? You aren't hurt are you?"
Gizlep whined softly. "It hurt little." he said, knowing the difference between notable pain and just a minor scratch at least. None the less, it didn't stop him from hugging Sapherone's leg.
"Thank you for apologizing, but please look where you are walking in the future, sir." Sapherone spoke calmly, softly - trying to show that she was not angered or annoyed. She gently pet the top of Gizlep's head, keeping an eye on the newcomer goblin. "Before you go, though, stranger - from where do you hail? Your features clearly say 'goblin', but you are unlike the ones I have back home."

Serenity couldn't help that she snarled softly, lip curling back from her teeth to reveal the severe pointiness of all her front teeth. She disliked anything that kept her from a warm bed, and she wasn't going to let this dragon out of her sight, and so Serenity watched and growled at the stranger.

Having sat down Kaiel rested against a building his eyes closed as he simply listened to the conversation between the two women. For something that is supposed to be hidden along with something supposed to be kept quiet on this woman was talking much to loud. She already knew of his presence, why she would divulge knowledge of something such as this was beyond what he could grasp in terms of logic. What Sapherone had said about what she was had made Kai's eyes widen slightly but it had started to make since why she seemed to out of place in this region. Thought's of killing her tho were no where in his mind. He may have been a dragon hunter but if a dragon was not killing he had no reason to slay it.
Kai's ears twitched when he heard a collision guessing someone had run into someone else as he opened his eyes slowly. He couldn't see them but there voices were easy to discern between the shop keepers and small conversations between people walking the streets. From what he could tell apparently another goblin had come into the picture. "The forest" he whispered in elfish tongue a language long lost to the outside world. Standing slowly kaiel shrugged himself off, he knew where he wanted to wait for this white dragon to speak with her only and would likely be able to without fear of having to put up with the other less pleasant guest.

"Oh, I'm from the Goblin's Royal City." Glon responded, before remembering that he wasn't supposed to reveal where he was from. "Have you three seen something that might look like a life-changing epiphany that might lead someone to the wisdom and right to rule over the lands of the Goblin-King?"

"It's in your throat," Serenity growled. "Want me to get it for you?" Everything about her was hostile. Tone, posture, look.

Animeprincess_9400 "Ah..uhrm..thank you." Yslaine muttured with a small smile, twiddling her fingers and looking downward for a couple moments before looking back up. "My name's Yslaine de Vermotta, but you can call me Yslaine. What's yours? ...Your name, I mean. Well, of course that's what I would mean but I just thought...oh! I'm rambling again! I'm sorry, I hope I'm not boring you! I..uh...I...sorry..."
Indrallious offered a hand to the girl. "Ah, Yslaine. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Indrallious. You could call me Indra though," he smiled. He looked behind her. The girl was rich too. "It's okay with rambling. Your voice is ever so pretty to listen to. I don't mind." Oh, charming this girl would come to be easy for him, he thought.

Sapherone ignored her companion's violent demeanor and threats, deciding to try and be polite while maintaining her own warm demeanor. "An epiphany is a realization of virtue gained through hardship caused by one's own vices, or at least, that is what it generally is in stories. I would suggest traveling for awhile and finding your own adventures. As time goes along, you should learn what you need to - and perhaps even find that epiphany you seek." After a moment she then changed the subject to one that would have bothered her had she not asked. "If I might ask, could you tell me a little bit about the Goblin Royal City? In culture, is your people different from the nomadic goblins?"
Yslaine took it trustingly, enchanted by the man's charming way of speach and becoming mannerisms. "T-thank you, I-Indra. You are very charming yourself, if I might say." The way Yslaine spoke was that of a young girl with her first crush, adorable - but far too naive for her own good.

"Well, we tend to think of ourselves as less, well... Will it offend you if I say 'savage'?" Glon asked. "We have a bit of a more organized military force, and we have more permanent settlements, as well as a mildly interesting artistic culture."

"Not at all. My little friends back home, for all I try to do, are a bit...primitive." Sapherone admitted, petting the now napping Gizlep on the head once more before continuing on with the conversation. She was most interested in learning more about his culture, if only to compare how they generally lived in comparison to her cute little pets. Plus, she loved art. That was the part that interested her the most. "Could you tell me a little bit about more famous bits of your peoples' art? Art is...sort of a passion of mine."

"Well, I'm not what you'd call an expert in the subject, but, we tend to focus more on the beauty of nature than human art. I've always thought human art was a bit egotistical, focusing mainly on the human form like that, it gets a bit ridiculous. Once, I saw this painting of a perfectly nice tree--it looked like a tree--and they painted some fellow hanging over it, arms stretched out like he was trying to give everyone a hug or something." Glon sighed. "And that's pretty much I know about art."
(Yes, I just mocked the tendency to feature Jesus Christ in art. Am I going to go to Hell? I don't believe in it, so probably not.)
