(( Just to let you all know. Forget anything Jamie has already said about her past and such. Im changing it a bit. ))

Jamie rose a brow as she leaned on the railing of the ship, listening to Jonathan as he spoke harshly to the gathered crowd. She blew air from between her lips as she chuckled a bit, rolling her light eyes. Was he serious? Not very intimidating, was he? She watched as he found a volunteer cook and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Aye.." She muttered to herself, her gypsy accent having slowly faded over her few years on the ships of pirate. She had began to speak in their tongue now. She had her fiance to blame for that. She glanced to her ring, played with it, twirling it about her finger for a moment before shaking her head. A smirk played at her full lips as she looked back to Jonathan. " Guards at the storage rooms. Kiilin' all intruders. We'll be seein' just how this works out.."

She turned on her heels, skirt raising as she twisted, and made her way back to work. Work? Well, she hadn't exactly been assigned a certain area of work. She would be able to busy herslef though. No questions about that.

Random encounter!

You sight sails of the port bow, upon closer inspection it turns out to be a spanish flute ship (80 crew, 16 cannons) sailing under merchant colours. Resting low in the water, it looks to be hauling a large cargo.

The wind is in your favour, with a clear day ahead. Do you wish to pursue the ship?

Katherine squinted at the dark shape hurrying towards the horizon. It didn't really look like much of a ship to her, but she trusted her scruffy rigging rats more than she trusted her own somewhat wobbly vision.

Placing a hand on the closest bit of ornately carved railing to steady herself, the captain gave the order to attack the spanish vessel.

Turning back towards the ocean to better track the progress of their prey (and wincing with the motion sickness this produced) Captain Kruel briefly entertained the notion that perhaps two thumbs of rum before noon was not the best of strategies.

Your captain has chosen to attack the ship! You quickly pull up alongside the smaller vessel with only warning shots exchanged. The real battle will happen on the decks, hand to hand. With grappling lines thrown across, you are ready to board. What are you waiting for? Attack!

A quick review of rules:

1. You MUST roll a ten sided die at some point during the battle.
2. You do not have to roleplay, but it is encouraged. You can rp any part of the fight.
3. The battle will last 24 hours. If you do not roll within this time period, you will not be counted as having participated in the battle and you will not get a share of the booty.
3. All other normal RP rules apply.

The impact of the warning shots shook the ship as Jemima tried to gracefully slide down the ropes. The rope burn was hurting her skin and she winced from the pain. Upon landing on the smaller vessel she took a sigh of relief and shook her hands. She scoped the deck of the ship and looked around for merchants to slaughter, she found one, raised her sword for a killing blow to the unsuspecting victim.

Jonathan, who was studying over his cargo logs in his hammock, rolls his eyes at the thought of yet another unappealing melee. "Uneducated barbarians..." he muttered to himself. With a sigh, he closes his book, jumps up off the make-shift bed, and strolls down to the cannoneers' deck with barely any hint of concern for his life or the battle. He orders the cannoneers to load grape-shot and fire into the enemy's lower decks at point-blank range. Satisfied that he can maximize the kill potential, he gives the order to fire in a firm, yet calm, manner.

Rachel Closes her eyes, unsheathing her blade.

She re-opens them and begins to look around, "Wow, this will be too easy..." as she finishes those words she feels a bullet peirce through her left shoulder, "Ugh!" she says as she feels the instant pain from the piercing bullet.

She looks at her shoulder as it bleeds, she then looks at the shooter "foolish person," She says as she throws her hidden dagger at the shooter, the dagger piercing through his throat. She goes over to the dead fool, retrieves her dagger, "Might as well see if that gun is useful..."

She takes the gun and check it for bullets, "Perfect, three shots... Now is my left arm still useable," She moves her left arm feeling a bit of pain, "eh, it will have to do," She puts the gun into her left hand and looks for more fools to annihilate.

Captain Kruel surveyed the battle with slitted eyes, her usual veneer of cheerful civility melted away beneath a layer of blood and horror. Being a relatively unimportant trader, the spanish crew held no personnel of high enough standing to justify the effort of ransom, so there would be no survivors.

Katherine flicked spattered gore off her dove grey gloves and with no small amount of relish, returned to the raging battle. No survivors. After all, dead men tell no tales.

Nicolas quickly followed after the group of his crew mates, boarding the second ship. With his long sabor in hand, he grinned, eager for a chance to exercise his combat. It had been quite awhile since his last battle and he felt wonderful, even just within the atmosphere.

Landing upon the deck with a loud thud, he jumped within the midst of battle. His right hand swung madly at first, but after a bit it seemed to have some sort of rhythm and pattern to his slashes and stabbing motions. He aimed to drop as many men as he could fight, sparing the women's lives, although he could not avoid smacking many of them to the ground.

The other crew members fought boldly around Nicolas, some close enough he could hear their rough breathing as they made their way through the enemies. Nicolas, however, could not pay them any mind for his mind was lost now, focused on the carnage before him. The sight of blood caused a wicked smirk to appear on his face and as he continued, it seemed the man was entirely gone.

Arrin's head perked up as the rigging rats sounded the alarm; a ship was approaching! She grinned widely as the captain shouted orders to attack. She may be a repair boy, but she figured a hit between the eyes with a hammer would certainly do some damage...not to mention the knife she had acquired recently. Armed with both objects, she headed off to board the other ship.

Arrin worked her way through to where other members of the crew were fighting, trying to do as much damage as she could. She doubted she'd killed anybody, but she wasn't really a weapons expert, and she had inflicted significant damage to at least a few of the enemy. More importantly, in her opinion, she hadn't taken much damage herself yet.

Of course, as soon as she thought about how fortunate she was to be uninjured, she got a rather painful gash on her leg from a cutlass. Great she thought Now I'll have to mend these breeches later. The wound didn't appear serious though, so she continued fighting.

Sin looked vaguely panicked at the fighting occuring all around him, mainly because he was totally unarmed. He leaped down from the ropes, swinging and landly deftly on all fours onto the deck. He picked up a sword out of a corpse, bloody and covered in what appeared to be some sort of organ, and decided to enter the fray
