"Just the lockers..." Mitsu said rather sheepishly. "They aren't very complicated. It's why I keep a paperclip on me."
Though she was still a little curious on the subject. "Where did you learn to pick locks like that?" She pointed to the door since he has successfully opened it.
Patches seemed excited, his face falling back into a happy pant as he tilted his head up toward Blade. His tail was wagging away, it didn't take much to make him happy apparently.

Glancing down at the dog, Blade gave Patches a light pat on the head. It was... weird to be petting a skull, however.
"I taught myself. It's ... useful for getting around," he said with a slight grin. Opening the door, he went on to let the dog out, "Is there somewhere we should put him?"
He hadn't really had much of a chance to explore the dungeon before he was caught, so he didn't know if there was a place the dog normally was. Though, judging how it was, he wouldn't be surprised if the canine didn't really care where he was placed.

"He really needs to go outside. I haven't walked him," Though Mitsu was leery to leave the room to do so. "There's a back way that opens up into the forest that I've been taking him."
At the sound of 'outside' Patches let out a loud bark, standing up and spinning in circles signaling he was ready to go.
"Shh, Patches." Mitsu held her finger up to her lips. "Indoor voice."
As a response Patches gave a soft 'ruff' noise. Apparently Mitsu had been working with him on a few things.

Despite being an undead dog, it seemed Patches wasn't too different from a living one still. Smiling a bit, Blade nodded and stepped out to try and beckon the dog to come with.
"How long do you have?" he asked Mitsu, referencing her state, "I'm guessing we should make this quick either way."
Whatever it was that happened exactly to the girl, the thief figured it would be best if they weren't out in the open when it occurred, judging how antsy she was about the ordeal.

Patches didn't seem to have any trouble following Blade out into the hallway, his nose busy soaking up the smells. After circling a few times he seemed to determine the direction he needed to go but paused waiting to hear footsteps behind him. Apparently he wouldn't leave on his own.
"I...I don't know." Mitsu said coming to a stop at the threshold of the door like it was a barrier she couldn't step passed. "I..I'll stay here. Patches knows the way. He just gets a little distracted."

Watching Mitsu for a bit, Blade let out a sigh and nodded.
"Alright. I'll be right back then," he said before making his way towards the back that she had mentioned. His pace was brisk, but he was still pretty tired so he didn't go too fast. Even so, he wanted to get this over with quickly if possible.
"Come on Patches, let's go."

Patches gave another soft bark and started a brisk trot beside Blade. Mitsu waved as the two moved out of sight and around a corner stepping a little further back afterward. With a sigh she closed the door letting it click softly into place. The room was quiet now, only lit by the monitor in the room. The air was damp and cool but it was something Mitsu was accustomed to now.
The dog seemed excited to finally be going outside, his head held high, ears turning this way and that taking in the echo of their foot steps. There was another turn up ahead in the labyrinth of hallways but Patches managed to take it a little too short and face planted into the wall. Backing up a bit shaking his head trying to regain his bearings, Patches paused for a moment to sniff around. This was apparently what Mitsu meant when she said he got distracted.

Letting Patches lead the way, Blade just walked after the dog while looking around at his surroundings. The scent of blood wasn't as strong out here, but he was still able to pick up on a hint of it. He soon paused, however, as the dog managed to walk right into a wall.
"You ok there boy?" he asked with a raised brow, "Come on, let's keep going."
He patted the side of his leg to try and get the zombie dog's attention.

Patches immediately raised his head from his sniffing adventure, his tongue hanging out his mouth as he circled around Blade happily before continuing on his way. The dog seemed to be rather clumsy, though it was easy to see why since it had no eyes to speak of.
The further they went down the hallway the less and less it started to look like a building and the more and more it started to look like a tunnel...or a cave. The walls were no longer lined with brick, though they still appeared to be made of heavy stone or slate. They were slick with moisture as was the floor making for an interesting walking experience as the two of them continued on.
In some placed the walls were so close together it was a rather tight fit. Patches didn't seem to have a problem and Mitsu was small enough she probably navigate through with ease but for most it was constricting, leaving one to suck in their form to try and squeeze passed. There was light up ahead though so the exit wasn't far and that seemed to be where Patches was headed.

Blade had to wonder where this passage led them, especially with the way the corridor started to become rather tight. Grimacing, he carefully made his way through, slowing down so that he wouldn't end up hurting himself in the process. At least it seemed that they were almost out of this place, considering the light up ahead of them.
"Go on ahead. I'll be right there," he told the dog as he squeezed on through the walls.

Patches continued on as instructed until he was finally exiting what was unmistakeably the mouth of a cave. Looking back it was easy to see how one might get lost in such a place. There was more than one pathway leading into the dark and it was hard to say where the others would take you.
Once outside the cave the dog was quick to do his business before sniffing about. It seemed the cave opened up into a heavily wooded area though it looked like there was a river not far off. Once outside it was easy to hear the rushing water, in fact it looked like there was a small trickle of a stream that lead from the mouth of the cave in a strange little pattern down the hillside to where the river was down below. The hillside was rather rocky around the mouth of the cave but eventually opened up to high pine trees, the ground littered with soft pine needles.
It didn't take long for Patches to find something interesting. Or at least interesting to him. Coming back up to the cave he had a rather large stick in his mouth, his tail wagging away. He wanted to play.

Once outside, Blade had to take a moment to let his eyes adjust to the light. He had been in the dark for several days so it seemed very bright out here for him. The area in general seemed pretty nice at a first glance and it was hard to believe it was connected to such a wretched place like the dungeon.
Leaning against the wall, he watched as the dog ran off to do his business and whatnot. While that went on, he glanced back towards the dark passage they had just come from, wondering if Mitsu was alright on her own in there.
Spotting movement nearby again, he looked back to see Patches with a rather large stick.
"Uh... alright, but just once ok? We need to get back to Mitsu," he said to him while grabbing the stick and giving it a throw.

Patches gave a loud bark before running off in the direction he could vaguely hear the stick being thrown. It seemed to take him a while to return though. He had obviously lost track of it circling about and sniffing here and there. When he finally did return what was in his mouth wasn't a stick at all. It looked like a bone of some sort, though not of an animal. No doubt it had been out in the elements a while though. It had been cleaned of any flesh and looked to be a little weathered.

Waiting for Patches to return, Blade was... surprised to find that it wasn't a stick that the dog brought back. Crouching down by the canine, he went to get a closer look at the bone. A slight chill ran down his spine as he realized it probably belonged to a human at some point in time. The thief now had to wonder how many bodies were littered around this area... as well as how many of those bodies were dumped here because of Suto.
"Lets go ahead and go back inside," he said grimly, not really wanting to see what else the dog might bring back on accident.

Patches gave a soft whine but followed Blade back into the cave none the less. The dog had to follow its nose to the right tunnel. There were so many and quite a few looked alike but soon they were on their way back to where they had come from but the hallway was not deserted as they had left it.
Standing in their path was Suto a rather amused look on his face. "I'm surprised you came back." His attention was focused on the door, a crashing sound could be heard from the other side but he paid it little mind. "You are quite resourceful, I'll have to remember to upgrade my locks."
As soon as Patches heard the scientist the dog slunk back a ways and into a room that had its door open. He apparently didn't like being around the guy if he could help it.
