Were the walls getting closer? They were. Zan had never been one for close spaces, and she really didn't want to get caught in here. So, she began to run, only running in a dress wasn't all that easy. The seventeen year old stumbled, falling forwards. "Ow!"
She scrambled to get up, but it wasn't until the other Lieutenant in their group took her hand that she managed to start running again.

Scheelite didn't stop, Scheelite was so thoroughly freaked out he just kept running.
And running. And running. OOF into a mirror and then running some more!

As the walls began to close in, Captain Scheelite took off like a cracked up gerbil. Meanwhile, Mica was left behind, and the blonde Captain was soon out of sight.

Eventually Mica was able to reign herself in enough to realize that the hyperactive Captain had run off, the walls were still closing in, and she was on her own. Survival instinct finally kicked in and she began running.

He started at the voice from Ilmenite, shocking him back into movement so that he at least stumbled along after the others though he still fought the daze of terror that had so immobilized him, for now, Ilmenite was in the lead.

His hand still wrapped around Zan's, Ilmenite shot a look back over his shoulder without slowing, all but dragging her along behind him in his panic. There was no pausing to put duct tape on the walls now. Just mindless running.

Zan didn't complain about running in heels, or holding the Lieutenant's hand. There wasn't time for such things. There was only time to run.

More than just a hand now: Ilmenite settled a hand against the small of Zan's back, entirely chaste, to push her out in front of him, and then slowed just a little to extend a hand back toward Zink.
His general would probably refuse, but he was going to offer anyway. "Come on! Can't you...I don't know, zap yourself...?"

Normally Zan's face would've gone red at someone touching anywhere near her buttocks. As it was she was so terrified at being squished she didn't notice. She did glance behind as she took the lead. They would be alright, wouldn't they? Looking forwards again she convinced herself they would, and if they wouldn't there wasn't anything she could do in that moment to help.

And Magically Bisintine was there the whole time. Backing everyone up in this glowly maze of glowdom. She was ready to fight, sharpie and all. She was going to wear down the tip until it was a nub if she had to too. She would mark up the face of the sneshi until they got high off of it. She was ready to kick some a**! "Alright Lt. Mica! Bisintine ready for duty. Tell me a task and I will get on it right away." she said proudly.
