Huni Pi [Beta 4 entering from Cornfields travelling thread]
Before had about all the grace and subtlety of a bull in a china shop, what with his stumbling and general flailing about for getting lost in the fog. (How did he even manage that?) "Guuuuuuys? Anyooooooone???"  Something seems to stir in the fog, and then leaps towards you! HP: 4

A high-pitched scream pierced the fog. Loud and long and followed with more flailing of arms and running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Who the ******** was that? Oh. Wait. That was just Before being himself. "Oh God I'm gonna dieeeeee!!!" he shrieked.

Huni Pi Before felt something claw at him and he dropped to the ground with an overly exaggerated howl. He was going turtle, it seemed, hands covering the back of his head, still holding his weapon, finger still on the trigger. No, it didn't quite occur to him to aim and fire. He was panicking and Before never could refuse panic or its whims. But thanks to his gun's hairpin trigger, he accidentally fired.

And rightly so because when he rolled, he, uh, rolled right smack into the creature. The impact had him squeezing on the trigger and "HOLY ******** s**t I DIDN'T MEAN TO SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE!!!!!" he wailed, now trying to give the creature a hug ;A;
Except he ended up running right past it.

Huni Pi Before yelped at the third blow (no, Before, it's just a nick, stop exaggerating). Plan "ignore it, maybe it'll go away" was obviously not working :ccccc Maybe he should change it... And now, plan "Stop-Drop-Roll" has been put into effect! First stop! Wait, he was already staying still. Okay drop! Waiiiiiit he was already on the ground. Duuuude, two thirds there! This is an awesome plan!He congratulated himself.

It was't a surprise that T8 didn't have any companions to travel with. He was a douche, and kept to himself. From what he could see, most of these folks were bumbling idiots. Snorting to himself, muffled by the gas mask, mind balancing out options that only seemed to involve himself. His goal was the abandoned town. And it wasn't really smart to go on his own, but at this point, he really didn't have much of a choice. Everyone else had already grouped, and paired up. Looked like he was going to be doing this trial alone. Go figure.
Taking a glance around, hearing nothing but the eerie silence of over head wind blowing faintly, Theta 8 made his way through the fog, to head towards his declared goal.

Beta one was just chilling out, maxxing, relaxing all cool. And if they had a ball and were outside of a school they might be shooting up some hoops.
But they weren't.

Shadow creatures do not have balls. Probably. However, it did have a lifespan and she just cut it short with the kick. Hitting the ground, it hissed one last time before dissipating back into the fog.
