baron shrugged. "You wouldnt know that. You lived your whole life spoiled by your father living in a big home where as Karl was left to sleep in the stables he worked in with the horses barely able to buy bread for himself, let alone food for the animals." He knowingly compared her life to karl's laying it out for her.

Baron sighed. "Dont cry. Karl will kick my a** if he see's you like that. He'll think I did something to you." He snorted.

"Then you and Karl have something in common." Baron rolled his eyes.

Karl made his way up the tower and pushed open the door to Celestia's room. "Cele-" He stopped seeing the room was empty. A lump formed in his throat. Of course she'd not here! You got rid of her, you stupid! Karl's eye flew on the bed where the sheets were rumpled from Celestia. He walked over and picked up the blanket which was filled with her scent. He closed his eyes inhaling deeply. He never should have treated her so badly. He'd told himself that he didn't care, didn't feel anything....Now he felt a regret stronger then anything. He shouldn't have sent her away. His eye's widen realizing that she could be hurt, could be bleeding dead because of him. Now he felt even worse. If she's dead, it's too late, pal, his mind told him.
He growled. Nay! She couldn't be dead! He ran out of the room and roared for a horse to be ready for him. He had to get to her, had to get there in time. If he wasn't, then-
He shut his eyes refusing to finish that sentence. He would get there, he vowed.

Baron shrugged eating an apple. "He'll come when he comes. There's no telling with him."

Baron picked Celestia up and sat her on the ground next to the small fire he made. He sat down tossing more sticks in.

Karl rode non stopped in the direction Baron had taken Celestia. God have mercy on him if he hurt her, Karl snarled in his head.

Baron chuckled cutting the ropes off. "Get up princess," he whispered. "You knight has come to rescue you."

Karl rode up and pulled his horse to a stop making it stand on its back legs. "baron!!" He snarled jumping off and stalked toward his life long friend.

Baron rolled his eyes before he was punched in the face by Karl who looked angrier then anyone right at that moment. "I'll deal with you later," he growled then turned to Celestia. He was so happy to see her he couldn't pretend to not care about her. "Celestia!" he cried dropping in front of her and pulled her into his arms hugging her close. He closed his eyes whispering against her hair," I'm so sorry, I'll never leave you again. No, your never leaving me understand? I dont care if hell freezes over, I'm not losing you again."
