Mokuzai nodded when Draven stepped back through the portal.
"Please finish your work and close the portal, I will not tolerate dark magics in my home."
He turned to the rest of them.
"since we are all here, I don't see a reason for delaying the meeting any longer."
He looked at the two woman.
"Draven and myself have both been visited by a woman in white with kami-like powers. She gave us our swords and charged us with a vague quest: 'will you restore balance.' Before we continue, I would like to make sure you have seen Her as well."
Mokuzai paused.
"Never before have I witnessed so many planeswalkers in the same place at the same time. I doubt our meeting is a coincidence."
Mokuzai thought back to his encounter with the Primedark and shuddered.
"I have seen the imbalance She spoke of. It nearly took my life. It is an entity called the Primdark, and never before have I felt such evil. I could do nothing as it devoured an entire plane.

Draven smirks lightly as Mokuzai voices his opinion on dark magic, he speaks no objection as he turns and waves his hand against the portal. The coalescent energy begins to crumble and collapse. The moss withers away along with the rest of the construction as it all turns to dust and drifts into the air eventually disappearing.
He sits in a chair not far from the others, crossing his arms and leaning back.

"But there must be another reason why we where chosen? There must be others like herself that she could call upon, that or she would soon be cut off completely.

Draven stands and approaches Mokuzai after Shizuka makes her point. "You said it was called the pridemark.. I have heard small stories about similar entities that carry power like that. But not on a scale to remove whole planes from existence."
He paces back to a from his chair.. "The last thing that could do something like that to my account was the Legacy. But that was a larger amalgamation of artifacts made to fit together and I don't think Urza will be around this time to help out."

Shizuka motioned to Draven. He was right, she had heard tales about the legacy weapon and of Urza and Phyrexia. What Mokuzai was saying was troubling indeed. If there was another world devouring force in the multiverse, it had to be stopped. Shizuka knew of only one other creature that had the power to do that besides the legacy. The Eldrazi. Shizuka shuddered at the thought. Zendikar was a bad memory for her. But how could anyone, even a group of planswalkers such as themselves, defeat something with the power of the Eldrazi? Shisuka started to voice these thoughts with sign language, but some of the names had not sign language equivalence. she took Mokuzai's hand and traced the rest of her thoughts onto his upturned palm.

Mokuzai looked at the glasses with interest. The glasses seemed normal, but a faint magical energy seemed to resonate within the glass. Mokuzai reached out a hand just as Kaisa came bounding back up the stairs. The great wolf trotted to Mokuzai and held Mokuzai's hat up for him to take. Mokuzai took the hat and ruffled Kaisa's fur. Kaisa wagged his tail before Mokuzai unsummoned him back to kamigawa. Mokuzai held the hat to his stomach before stretching out a hand to take the glasses.
"May I?"

Shizuka squeezed Mokuzai's hand to prompt him into translating her parallel between the Primedark and the Eldrazi. She doubted anyone here understood sign language or the even the more simplistic, but more time consuming, palm tracing. If they were to stay together for a while she might teach them if they have a few moments to spare. When Draven pulled out the glasses Shizuka looked at them, quietly observing the spectacle's lenses and frame. They looked very ordinary. Only slightly larger than lady Azami from Minamo. Draven seemed to think that the glasses had the power to translate the book. Mokuzai looked interested, but skeptical. Shizuka shared his thoughts.

Mokuzai squeezed Shizuka's hand back. He opened a mental link between them and asked Shizuka:
"Forgive me, what's an Eldrazi?"
Mokuzai took Draven's glasses and examined them thoroughly, muttering under his breath. the art of artifice alluded him. He never understood how to put complex magics into metal. he could enchant metal sure, but actually make an artifact with the magic inherent inside it? The process was one Mokuzai couldn't grasp. as such, he couldn't truly grasp the magic upon the thin wire frame and clear glass lenses.
"Would all of you come with me to the study? We can try to crack the book there."
Mokuzai motioned to the study.

Shizuka blinked at Mokuzai. How could he not know what the Eldrazi were? She shook her head in disbelief and walked with Mokuzai, Arihelia and Draven, to the study. She told Mokuzai through their link that she couldn't describe them, but she would show him what she remembered of the monsters at a later time. Shizuka was interested to see what the glasses made of the text.
