(( Aurian has four or more posts! Profile here. )) They had just discovered that their Captain was missing, leaving a note as useless as the woman herself had been, when the boat ran aground. Aurian had been in the Captain's cabin, so at least she hadn't fallen over board. But the rapidly sinking ship hade made that a small mercy. The Reaper had taken note of the damage and the close shore. She was no great swimmer, but she thought she could make it that far. Taking note to avoid the rocks they'd hit, Aurian jumped off the side of the boat. By the time she reached the shore, Aurian had swallowed more salt water than she had ever wanted to. She was mildly thankful that her weapon was sealed, as trying to swim while holding a scythe would surely have been ever worse. Still, she did not like that she was weaponless on an unknown island, with no teachers in sight. The attempt to take on her natural shadow form was also still denied, and Aurian shivered as she imagined all the eyes that could be watching her through the mist. Picking a direction, she started walking. Eventually she came across a shoddy building. She gave a cry of relief to see other students also there. Though she didn't see any other survivors from her boat yet. Surely a novice sea-farer like herself couldn't have outswum them all? She wandered through the milling students, some of whom seemed injured or even more confused than the Reaper. When another student picked up items from two piles, Aurian followed suit. From the makeshit weapons, she grabbed a rusty pipe - the closest thing in feel to the metal shaft of her scythe. She also picked up a brown knapsack. Some of the other students appeared to be leaving already. Aurian didn't know any of them, so she remained where she was. She continued to search her way through the other students, looking for a familiar face of any kind.

He was just beginning to get comfortable, or as comfortable as one could get while damp and on a strange island, when he caught a glimpse of orange skin through the fog. He knew that orange skin. He rose to his feet.
"HEY! SAVIOR!" he shouted, regretting it instantly. Why had he done that? West ducked behind the glowing monument, pressing his hand to it and jumping back when it shocked him. It didn't really hurt, he just hadn't been expecting it. "Dammit!" he muttered, glaring at his obviously guilty fingertips.

(( Reeshie exclaim zoo marker: bags sent to here!)) Another plunge into the water had not made Rosciel very happy. By the time he finally shuffled onto shore, he was drenched, cold, and exhausted. In fact, collapsing seemed like a great idea. So great that as soon as he was free of the water, Rosc let his legs give out and he rolled onto his back to lie in the sand. He had been on the deck with a few of the other students when the Lady in Red had crashed into the rocks, so he'd been able to jump into the water as soon as the abandon ship had been called. He had taken a moment, though, to stuff his eyePod into the bag he kept his roll of tape and bandages in (After the Sleuth had made them jump in and he'd ruined a set), then into a zippered pocket inside his jacket. Hoping that doing so would keep them from getting ruined. He hadn't found anything to use as a flotation device, so most of the time in the water was swimming as effectively as he could. He did spend a little bit of time just treading water, little breaks, but land hadn't been too far from where they had crashed. Lying there got the demon to thinking. Wondering where the other students were, if they had even gotten away from the sinking ship safely. Had they made it to land? What about the ones that could barely swim? Part of him cared, at least a little bit. It was that stupid little voice who always piped up at the wrong times, that nudged him to do things he didn't think were safe to do. Like jumping into the water to help out someone who'd willingly jumped in or talking to people when they talked to him. Or promising to be civil to someone who'd worked against him. He shook his head slightly, realizing that not only would his hair be a watery mess, but now it would be caked with sand. And his coat and boots were probably not much better off. Water not being that great for leather and all that. A few moments of carelessness passed as he just lay there, listening to the waves and the soft murmur of sounds from somewhere close by on the land. But they were only moments and he sat up, dipping into the pocket. The bag was soaked, but it looked like everything inside was okay. A bright side? Maybe. He slipped the bag back into that pocket and moved in the direction of the sounds, noting other footprints in the sand and following them. If that encounter near Breck's shed had taught him anything, it was that even if he didn't trust them, it was always handy to be fighting something with a team rather than alone when it came to what was thrown at them at school. It didn't take long for him to find the tent and the other students. He noted them, but for the most part ignored everyone else, heading instead for the tables. He grabbed a knapsack and moved to the table with the "weapons," hefting each one in turn. They were all pretty bad, but he favored the tree branch, so he chose that one. Taken aback by the appearance of the figure, he backed off. But then before anyone could move, the figure was gone back into the fog. Easier targets in groups, huh... Great.

((I had way more than four posts! Profile.)) Was it a contractual obligation that any vehicle owned by Amityville Academy had to die in a massive, hideous accident of some variety?! At least Malodore floated... fortunately. What was less fortunate was how damned long it took it to float, soddenly, to shore. When at last a wave rolled it onto the shore, the plague doctor just lay there for a few minutes, dripping. Only after another wave licked at its feet did it actually get up and move, stumbling damply towards what little 'civilization' existed. A few tents, apparently, with a few students milling around it. The plague doctor first poked the odd contraption curiously, receiving just an odd 'shock' for its trouble. First soaked, then shocked. Wonderful. Inside the tent was... junk. Complete and total junk. At least it came with bags to hold it so Malodore didn't have to stuff its sleeves with junk. It grabbed a knapsack and poked through the other items on offer. Though it reached first for the first aid kit, the box was rapidly discarded when Malodore realized it was empty. In the end, it selected an old book. Perhaps some knowledge of their location could be gleaned from it? That done, the plague doctor - still dripping - padded back out to the beach again. It felt like sand had thoroughly infiltrated its bones and bandages, ugh... and it might even smell if mildew got into the linens. Disgusting! But standing here wasn't going to get it anywhere. It scanned the students around it and spotted... ... hey! "Riley!" it called out, hurrying out of the camp towards the familiar purple figure. ((EXITING. XD))

(( Blade Kuroda - I had more than four for sure XD)) Picking weeds. That was what Jericho was doing when a figure had decided to freak out about the ship sinking. Furrowing his brow, he glanced around to see how true this was, only to see their plant-boat slowly begin to fall apart. "Jacking ship!" he hissed. He should have known this thing wouldn't last. But at least it had nothing to do with him accidentally burning the damn thing down. While he could swim, he wasn't really looking forward to taking a dip in the salt water. There was no telling what was in there. Quickly looking about, he saw Amrita closest to him. Had he seen Maldore, he would have tried grabbing the Plague doctor as well, but time was of essence here. The undead girl had a more helpless quality about her anyway. So, the dragon silently apologized to Mal, wherever it was before reaching out to try and grab Amrita. "Hang on tight Amrita!" he urged as he spread his wings. Leaping off the edge of the sinking ship, he soared on towards the shore that was within his line of sight now. It looked like there were a good number of students that had been stranded as well. Something told him that this school didn't really know how to man their transportation all too well, seeing how the train had crashed. The dragon remained fairly low, just wanting to get to the beach quickly, and once he was above the sand, he landed a little roughly. "Are you alright?" he asked Amrita while glancing back, wondering if it was possible for him to fetch anyone that might have trouble.

[[ Getsurae definitely more then four posts lol]] What the hell had she gotten herself into. Seriously. She knew she was gonna regret this one day, why couldn't any field trips be normal? She shook herself off and looked around for the others from her boat. Whisper hoped that they all made it out alright, hell, that's if the plants hadn't some how gotten them at the last minute. The ghoul was exhausted, and she knew if she stopped moving for a even a moment she would probably fall asleep. That would be a very bad idea, considering she didn't know the area at all. She definitely didn't need any more surprises, that was for sure.
She trudged through the sand, spotting the tent in the distance. There were others there, hopefully ones that she knew. Hell, she'd take anyone at this point. When she entered the tent, Whisper saw an assortment of weapons, and knapsacks. She decided she would take a blunt mace and of course one of the knapsacks.
After she picked up her items, she sighed in relief and stepped outside to see if anyone else from her boat was coming.

Sin was trying very hard not to limp, or shiver, or whimper, because all of those things would probably make her look pathetic. She walked stiffly along the shoreline until she spotted the distant tent. Her arms were wrapped close around herself trying to stay warm. A wet evening gown and three inch heels were not appropriate for walking around a foggy island injured. She probably just screamed 'victim' and oh jack did she hate that! She made it to the tent just in time to see the strange figure vanish into the fog and blinked.
What was all that about? Then she spotted Rosc and smiled...and sneezed, and sneezed, and sneezed again. Ugh way to make an entrance Sin. She shivered and pushed her hair back unconsciously primping. "R-rosc I'm glad you d-docked safely..." She tried to keep her teeth from chattering, but really this place was almost as bad as ChristmasTown...even the sand was just an imitation of snow.
Then she noticed Rosc looked kinda damp too...infact most of the students in the tent were leaving and looked kinda wet. Sin spotted some knapsacks and assorted looking weapon type items and raised a brow. Well she'd take one of those and she grabbed the First Aid Kit hopefully and then frowned when she saw it was empty. Oh well better then nothing right?
She turned and looked at Rosc again, she was just glad to see him, she wanted to...hug him or something. Except that would be odd wouldn't it? Awkward? Except she was just so glad to see him, and afraid because she hadn't yet seen Alcie or Viveca. She walked over to him uncertainly.

"Thank you, Petro!" Tess wasn't heavy, but her luggage was and it was nice to have someone help her with the ghoul; opening her luggage, she took out one of the few dry towels she had left - it smelt like moss from her long boat trip, but at least it was dry. Draping it over Tess' shoulders, she looked up at the boil with a puzzled expression as she worked to carefully wring some of the water out of her friend's long hair, "You... Didn't sign up for the field trip, right? What happened? How did you get here?"
Her attention, however, was soon diverted to two very familiar figures on the beach. If not for the fact that she had been internally flailing and waiting to spot these two figures, she might had cried tears of joy.
"AMRITA! JERICHO!"
Running all the way down from the tent, she left her open luggage with Petro and Tess as she enveloped Amrita in a tight hug, checking her over to make sure that she was well, "I was sooo worried!" Letting go of her, she then turned to Jericho and hugged him (he was so warm, so so warm!); in her moment of joy, she had forgotten that he's a boil. Opps.
"Thank you for keeping that promise," She beamed up at him before letting go, returning to hug Amrita one more time before holding her hand. Addressing both of them, she gestured towards where she had left Petro and Tess, "Quick, we need to grab supplies and a weapon - Jericho, remember how we wanted to take revenge on that reaper? I think this island's our chance..."

LW giggled at puppy verses demon right now. Why did he have to be so adorable? Actually, now that she thought on this, maybe this was how the others felt about her. They were always calling her cute and adorable. And then Gabe had deemed her 'His Puppy'. Not a very scary name. Maybe she and Jove needed to collaborate on scary names for one another. Fluffballs of Doom just didn't seem to cut it. The giggle escaped again and LW coughed, hiding her head against his shoulder. "V-very...intimidating..." She got out innocently. Although a few minutes later, when Riley had left, LW frowned at the less confident demeanor. She gave him a light squeeze of a hug for reassurance.
The she-wolf was giggling again at what she was perceiving as an evasive answer. "Are you sure, dear demon?" LW asked, glancing at her best friend. Ren was taking care of Jove like the big brother he had become to the little pup. And just like any big brother would do, Ren had to make sure there were no injuries and that Jove was alright and unharmed, in good health. All that.
LW ducked her head down against the demon when he gave her a look. "Our...umm, first mate thought we should help her find some...seeds. And tables were being flipped all over..." she trailed off, still ducking down against him before really clinging when a strange black hooded figure appeared. What the Jack?! This was bad. What if they had to fi-
.... Was he...on a skellyphone?! That just...lowered this dudes scary creeper level. No wait, rephrase that. It lowered his scary level, but the creeper level rose. And then creeper hooded dude just...vanished.
"Err...I think I...definitely agree with Gabe." LW squeaked out. Not that she had much choice in this, since she was clinging to Gabe's back. She shot a look behind her at Ren, Alessa, and Jove as Gabe started to walk in a direction. "Keep up. I do NOT want to be separated again!" The she-wolf said in a pitiful voice, hugging the nix.

Now that Sepheran was fully equipped...well equipped as much as he could be anyway, he wanted to see if he could find anyone he knew. He wondered if Myr, or anyone he knew from the train was around...perhaps maybe even Lizzy or Tess.
Shifting his bag on his shoulder Sepheran tilted his head from side to side listening closely to some of the student voices around the area. Liannan guided him lightly though she was still a bit unnerved by the unscheduled swim earlier.
Lifting his hand he lightly petted her soft scaly skin just when he heard someone call out a familiar name. Turning to the sound he moved forward. No way...it could be could it? "Petro?! Lizzy!!" Sepheran called out excitedly knowing those voice well, one from school and one from the raid on Christmas Town. "It's you two right?" Sepheran asked not having notices the shadowy figure much earlier. He had heard what it said but paid more attention to student voices.

Mac was looking at the table of weapons, having already grabbed a bag, while the Monster student started talking with some of his friends. Hrm, he should probably...see if any of his friends made it, shouldn't he? Looking around, he spotted several people he knew; but nobody really caught his attention. Well, aside from that person in the hood with the phone, but...luckily that threat passed. Now he was moving double-time to look for any one he knew. There was Arachne of course, but before he could look even further, Lizzy's voice cut through his ears and he turned quickly - perhaps a little too quickly - to face her.
"Oh good." He murmured, trying not to look too happy. "You didn't drown. Good for you." Of course, she was perfectly dry and he was still soaking wet, trying to not shiver. Grabbing an Old wooden bat, the Reaper moved closer to her, taking off his hat to wring it out.
"Hello." He greeted anyone that was around them.
++++
Amrita clung to Jericho tightly; the lurching from the boat had thrown her off, and she only happily allowed herself to be scooped up, clinging bodily to Jericho. She spent the flight not looking down, in fact she had buried her skull face into the boil's chest, makig all sorts of unhappy and uncomfortable noises. Flying. She didn't like flying. She didn't like water, either. Or plants. Hell, most of the elements now. She wanted dirt, and that's where she wanted to stay.
She felt Jericho land, and almost instantly she was climbing down from him; sadly she couldn't collapse onto her hands and knees in the dirt, no , instead she was wrapped up in a tight hug from Lizzy.
"LIZZY!" She cried out thankfully, as though she hadn't seen the Demoness in years, and hugged her tightly. "PETRO TOO! AND TESS! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OKAY!" She continued to babble, until she was released. Then she collapsed into the dirt with a heavy sigh.
"I...I think I'm going to stay here. I don't think I can take much more of thiiiis..." She whimpered out, turning to sit properly. She gazed at the drenched reaper for a moment, unsure of who he was, but was at this point too tired to properly introduce herself.

Rosc turned at the sound of sneezing, his face softening several fractions when he saw who it was. Sin looked okay under the circumstances and she was even messing with her hair. It was so like her. She was moving past him before he could say anything, getting a pack and grabbing a first-aid kit. Jack, he was glad to see her, no matter what state her attire was in. It was taking every ounce of will he had not to walk to her and pull her into a hug. But that would embarrass her, wouldn't it? Wouldn't it?
Oh, to hell with it. She was walking back to him and as soon as she was close enough, he closed the distance between them, wrapping his arms around her. It was awkward with the items they were holding and both of them being fairly damp and all, not to mention he had a good bit of sand still clinging to his wings and hair, but he really didn't care.
"I missed you. I can't count how many times I wanted to send you an eee!-mail about how crappy this trip has been, to see how you were," he whispered in her ear, shaking his head slightly. Looked like he'd have to break down and see if he could have one of those stupid phones that everyone seemed to have. There were features that let people like him use it, right?

Thankful that calling Savior's name seemed to have resulted in... nothing, West creeped out from behind the glowing thing and took off into the fog. Better to die trying to find a way off of this blasted island than to stand around hiding behind some creepy relic.

Turning away from the boat, Jericho heard a familiar voice calling out to them. And the next thing he knew was that he had a pink haired spider demon clinging to him. Freezing up at that, he grinned a little awkwardly and patted Lizzy gently on the back.
"Good to see you're in one piece too," he nodded as he relaxed when she released him. That awkward look on his face soon disappeared as she filled him in a little on their situation. Those golden eyes of his narrowed and a glint of anger sparked within them.
"Is that so?" he asked. The dragon had to wonder what happened that made her think this, but he had doubts she'd lie about something like this. Furrowing his brow as he thought on this, he looked over towards the supplies tent and started to walk towards it.
"You know. I have to wonder if this is all some sort of trap.. " he muttered as he grabbed a bag. There seemed to be an array of different weapons for them to be able to take. Looking them over for awhile, he just picked up the wooden toy sword and gave it a few test swings. Satisfied with his choice, he turned towards Amrita with a frown.
"That might not be a bad idea.. Just take it easy ok?"
He wasn't really sure how well she'd fare in a fight really. Though she was pretty good at dodging and fleeing from the Death Charm. Looking around at the others to see who else was about, he took note of Mac, Petro, Sepheren, and a couple others around as well. There was no sign of Malodore or the mindflayer, however. Nodding to the group around him, he rustled his wings and let out a breath.
"I'm going to go try and get a better feel for this area," he said before heading on off.

At the sound of another familiar voice, she perked up, turning to face Sepheran, "Sepheran! Glad to see you and Liannan in one piece!" She was practically beaming at the fact. The fact that Mac even bothered to answer her made her smile grow.
"Macccc! Yes! I didn't drown!" She sounded really relieved at that, like she really thought she was going to drown when her boat crashed on the rocks. As he moved closer, she realized that he was wet; perhaps his boat crashed too? She paused momentarily before adding, "If you want, I have some dry towels...? I don't want you to catch a cold..."
Turning to gesture at the dragon, she nodded, "You've met Jericho, right? This ghoul is Amrita, that boil is Sepheran... Over there, is Petro and Tess. Everyone, this is Mac!" She raised her voice a little, seeing how Petro and Tess were a short distance away; she almost added 'and he's a puppy' but she really shouldn't make a joke at his expense... She nodded as Jericho left - she felt disappointed for a split second, but quickly turned to Amrita, patting her on the head before helping her up; time to bring her to the odd glowing thing where Tess was while avoiding the bonfire beside it.
Riiiiggghhhht.
"Come on... You can join Tess... The two of you can look after each other," She frowned, careful to avoid telling her about the bonfire while holding the Vetala close, "Please please please stay safe here! I'm going to explore the island a little... See what I can find."
