Some time passed, though Wynn was not aware of how much. She'd just been soaking up the happiness from having destroyed the building, lost in a swirl of emotion. Time and perception escaped her after she'd placed the call to Desmond. Slowly, a dim awareness of her surroundings came back to her, and she realized she'd need to move. Doubtless Killy had heard the explosion at least, which meant he'd probably called Roland and the others. She could pretend that it hadn't been her, easily. But it would be better to avoid any potential complications for the time being. Her thoughts of running away were interrupted, however, when Roland, and several others, showed up. Wynn was around the other side of the gym, partially hidden from view, but if she tried to run away they'd see her.

"R-Roland?" she asked, wiping the tears from her face and smudging ashes across her cheeks as she got up and stumbled towards him. "I was wrong. I-I'm so sorry. So sorry." Putting on a convincing limp was easy and believeable. Even if something horrible hadn't just happened, Kerri's ankles were weak and prone to hurt. It would help draw attention away from questions about her temporarily, hopefully long enough for her to think of a convincing story.

Desmond... I called Desmond. Why would Kerri call him first? She hoped no one would ask that when he showed up. Crap.

Desmond exited the building which his boss had resided in, a wad of cash in each hand. Shoving it into his pockets, he pulled out a Dusk Ball and tossed it into the air. "Braviary!" He said. "Fly me to the PWF Island." In a flash, the large, red and grey eagle appeared, and he hopped onto it's back. The large Pokemon flew at a magnificent speed towards PWF Island, where Kerri was waiting for him.

It took longer than Desmond would've liked, but Braviary managed to get to the island. It may have not been as fast as Pidgeot or Staraptor, but Braviary was much better at killing it's targets, a trait Des rather enjoyed about the avian creature. "There, over in that alley way. This is the city where Kerri called me." Glancing around, Des could see some familiar buildings. Braviary landed in an alleyway, and Desmond jumped off the bird's back, calling it back to its Dusk Ball.

Desmond walked through the winding alleys, remembering his way through them from when he was a Nightwalker. After a series of turns, he had approached his destination. The Fire Gym. Or, what Des had noticed, were the remains of the fire gym. Exiting the dark alleyway and into the light, Desmond greeted the group of people observing the wreckage.

"Well, well, well, what have we got here? Roland, it's been a while. Still having troubles maintaining your poor old gym?" He said, calmly walking towards the fire gym leader. "Surely it can't be that hard. I'm sure mine would still be pristine, if it still existed." He shot Roland a quick glare upon finishing the sentence.

Think hard.

Samantha listened intently to the man, Killy. Hundreds. Dead. How horrible. It was much better to maim and cripple than kill in her opinion. It left visible scars. Things the victims had to live with everyday. To her it was the best option.

Manners, something the female often lacked. Not that she purposely acted rudely. No, never that- Okay, sometimes but only when someone pissed her off. Most of the time, her rudeness stemmed from the fact she hated talking. "Ah, right. I'm Samantha. Call me either that or Sam but call me Sammy and I'm going to have to hurt you."

Carefully, Sam thought over what to say. There was no way to come right out and say she wanted to harm the PWFers in any way possible. "I heard about the incidents two years ago when they were happening from a...friend. She was...hurt during it. I've come to find out as much as I can about it and the...Nightwalkers..." Sam stopped for a second, thinking over what she said. Everything seemed vague enough and none of it lies. Quietly she added," to get revenge."

Suddenly, a wave of nausea hit her, reminding the teen she became car sick easily. She closed her eyes and gripped the seat-her stomach doing somersaults. With a moan, she said, "Please tell me we're there."

“If what you really want is to be free from your fears…

Raiu slowly turned at the sound of the familiarly sounding voice. It was a voice that used to full him with joy, but now fills him with cold-blooded rage. As he turned around to see who was taunting Rol, he found his brother, Desmond. The mercenary who ruthlessly killed for money and the person who had tried to manipulate him more than once. Raiu, clenching his fists so hard that his fingernails dug into his palms, gave Desmond a cold, hateful stare.

"Go the HELL away Desmond. We have enough trouble as it is, and the LAST thing we want is for YOU to be here."

Raiu said "we," but it was obvious that he meant "I." He couldn't stand to be taunted here in the middle of a crisis by someone he hates so much. But less obviously, he wished Des could be brought back to the good side, like he was in the beginning of the war. He wanted his brother back. Not a cold, cruel monster. And when he thought of that, Raiu's eyes shined with a faint glimmer of sadness.

Always balance good and evil.

Snappy slowly walked alongside Ebony, barely focused as to where he was heading. They made their way through the allies, and past the buildings, attempting to avoid stepping into the openness of the daylight. The young Mightyena looked up at her master who was quietly picking his teeth with his claws, lost yet again in his own little world of thoughts. Topher, his very own brother had played a large role in the Nightwalker's defeat. Subsequently, Snappy further developed a harsh loathing towards his older sibling, and those involved with the plan to take over Nightwalker HQ. Snappy still had no clue of the whereabouts of Lord Verin; he hadn't seen him since that day. His very thoughts, and memories of the past were beginning to make him sick, along with the fowl smell of grease and body odor that was beginning to waft it's way through the air. Snappy heard a bit of mischievous laughter from up ahead, followed by the low, uncomfortable growl of his companion. He raised his head looking straight down the narrow alleyway that they had subconsciously drifted into. Ebony reluctantly followed behind with her head low, looking left and right to make sure she was secure. "What do you think you're doing back here, fur ball?! You here to entertain us?" called out a gruff voice from behind them. Snappy slowly turned around, noticing his Mightyena was already waiting to pounce. He knew this was how she reacted in her fear, not giving a second thought toward aggressiveness on a moments notice. The voice came from a rather chunky fellow, built nonetheless, yet lacking in hair on his head, but rather it was all located on his chest, and arms, easily noticed through his open vest. Another voice was raised from the direction the wolves were originally facing. "Yeaaah, what's up, little man? Are you out Trick-or-Treatin'?...Or maybe you just got lost from the circus?" Chuckled an older bearded man with a figure resembling a large stick bug. One by one, mysterious varieties of jokester punks came crawling out of their hiding place in the alley. From behind garbage disposals and other objects, gruff men and women appeared to surround their visitor.. "Hoooooowwwwllllll!" another guy mocked. Snappy stood still as they approached him, ".....I suggest you fools keep your mouths shut, and stay out of my way!" The group roared with laughter. "What's Bow Wow, de poor wittle circis dawggie gonna do 'bout it? Snappy almost wanted to laugh himself because of their sheer stupidity, but these feeling were cut short by the whelp of his Mightyena. Ebony tumbled to the ground, and Snappy glared at the man standing by her. The man was patting a pipe wrench against his hand, sharing a large grin with the world. Snappy walked his way over to the man showing as many of his pointed teeth as the man had shown, only there was no smile. "When I told you to stay out of my way, what I meant was RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" The man looked down in horror to see his chest being dismounted from the wolfman's claws, and he retained no energy to stand any longer. Before Snappy had a chance to turn around, he had a gun pressed to the back of his head. "DIE, you son of a b-" The thug had no time to finish his sentence before his arm was twisted painfully out of an aiming position, which was followed swiftly by a solid blow to the elbow from the outside region of his currently stiffened arm, rendering it immobile. Mightyena finally found herself on four paws again, and was ready to retaliate. The Pokemon tackled her closest enemy, bearing down sharply on his throat. An atypical action for the pooch, but the bleeding side of her head seemed to justify her actions. Meanwhile, Snappy was removing the gun from his victim's hand, raising it up to the man's forehead. The shot echoed throughout the alley, as did the thud of the gangster's body against the pavement. A particular creep sporting liberty spikes thought it wise to rush the wolf with the gun, but he too failed to the might of a bullet. Now Snappy was being attacked from the front and behind. In one fluent motion the wolfman jumped up, kicking off of the two punk's heads, allowing enough air time to back-flip against a wall, only to spring downward against his foes with claws directed to pin them through their hearts. After witnessing such a thing, some of the gang wizened up from fear of such acrobatic lethality, and finally decided to run. Ebony took off after them to deny their chances of leaving the area. "This is the end of the line for you, FREAK!" an abnormally large, muscular man yelled as he came from seemingly nowhere to jam the blade of his knife through Snappy's side. The air stood still, and everyone watched to see the fall of the wounded beast that had entered in on their turf. Snappy looked straight into the obnoxious he-man's eyes while smiling his toothy grin for the first time since they had appeared in the alley. Slowly he grabbed the man's arm and pulled the knife from his body. Despite the man's harsh resistance, Snappy eased the blade up to his face, and proceeded to lick is own blood from weapon. The attacker stood in horror, looking back into the wolfman's unshaken stare. "My turn...." barked the beast.

Ebony had shared her small part in the action, but in the end, her master had done most of the work. It pleased her to know that he was doing these things, mainly for her sake, and not his own. Though, even as a Pokemon, she still had an understanding that such a situation did not necessarily have to lead to death, but she also knew her master would never agree. Snappy wouldn't have cared for their lives whether they had hit her or not, but his ferocity wouldn't have been so intense had they left her alone. Knowing Snappy's attitude towards things, he would normally have slipped in a few remarks between his attacks, but at this moment, he had managed nothing but violence. It was Ebony's own way to tell that her master cared for her in some way, although he never tells her personally.
All of the gang was now dead, and Snappy came over to Ebony with a ripped shirt in his hand. The Pokemon whimpered mildly as her master used it to gently wipe the blood from her head.

"Well it's nice to meet you Sam, shame we had to meet under such a sombre times" he said turning a corner, the streets were normally busy this time of day, but all the cars were stalled and parked, such a sorrowful sight, "Ahh...yeah, I had some friends hurt in that...good friends, on both sides...You remind me of one of em actually heh, can't quite place it though." Eklyx said as he thought about all the news he heard of when he came back from Celadon City, all the damage done to not only the land and people, but ties to friendships and family, "...It's a damn shame....all this fighting....sorry I'm rambling again heh; yeah we...oh man..." he said as he rounded the last corner coming to the Fire Gym; pulling up and hopping out of his truck he ran over to the group, "Yo! Everyone ok?...Desmond?!...It's been ages...Though I'm sure you probably don't care....still, kinda nice to see you..." he stated after noticing his old friend before walking over to the group.

"You remind me of one of em actually heh, can't quite place it though." Samantha smiled to herself at that. A truly sad smile. Not once had she heard that. The two sisters had looked so different-been so different-that people often couldn't believe they were sisters. Many people denied that they were sisters even after they were told. Was it so hard to believe?

She didn't mind the rambling. Most of the time, when people rambled, they revealed things they wouldn't normally. Plus, it meant she didn't have to talk. Alas, Sam was grateful when the ride was over. As soon as the truck stopped, she jumped out-taking a few wobbling steps. It would be a while before she stepped foot in an vehicle again. She glanced at the people gathered. This wasn't a happy group. Although, the destroyed building was quite beautiful. Fire and explosives were such wonderful things.

Curious. Was this Desmond-Killy called him-greeted with hostility from the others here? Well, Killy seemed kinda happy to see him. She wondered briefly who these others were, but let the thought fade. It was probably safe to say they were PWFers. "Is that person a Nightwalker? Either way, thanks for the ride and the help, Killy. I think this person will be able to help me further."

She walked to the man named Desmond. When she stopped, Sam tilted her head up to look him in the eyes. At the age of 18, Samantha was a little on the short side. Even with her boots, she barely reached three inches over five feet. "I believe you're one of the people I've been looking for." She paused for dramatic effect, her mouth turning up into a wicked grin. "And I do believe we'll get along swimmingly."

Raiu turned away from Desmond when he saw that Killy had pulled up. A short woman climbed out of Killy's truck as well. ...Did Killy pick up a girl on the way here? Whatever, I'm just glad to know he's safe. Raiu ran over to Killy and greeted him.

"Hey Killy, good to see you're not a burning carcass. I was seriously worried. So... who's the lady?"

The "lady" had a familiar presence about her. But also, an odd presence. It was nothing against her, but he wasn't sure he could trust her. It was the same feeling he had with "Titus." Nevertheless, he turned to the woman and greeted her.

"Hi, my name is Raiu. It's nice to meet you."

"Go the HELL away Desmond. We have enough trouble as it is, and the LAST thing we want is for YOU to be here."

"Oh, come on now, Raiu. Is that any way to treat family? Especially two years of no contact?" Des asked, not really caring how his younger brother would react. As he stood, eyeing the group, the sound on an engine rumbling rose through the unpleasantries. A truck drove up near the group, and stopped. Emerging from the vehicle were two figures. One of them, Desmond recognized off the bat. His old friend, Eklyx. The other, a shorter girl, Desmond didn't recognize. She seemed familiar, but Desmond couldn't guess who.

"Ah Eklyx! Finally, someone who's not so dreadfully gloom as to my appearance here. You would've figured old friends and family would be happy to see one another after two years. I was mistaken." He said, walking up to Eklyx and shaking his hand. The second person then walked up to Desmond.

"I'm one of the people you're looking for?" Desmond said in an inquisitive tone. He had been unaware that teenage girls were looking for him. Usually it was the police after him. "Swimmingly! Now there's an adjective!" He said, amused. "Eklyx! Where did you find this rather dashing lady?" He asked.

Think hard.

Shadow watched the truck drive by, noticing the one in the driver seat was Killy, and the girl in the passenger was someone who he recognized. "She somewhat reminds me of Rishi from Nightwalkers, but that can't be right." he said to himself. Shadow turned around looking back where the truck was heading and then at the ruined gym. In the distance he noticed two other figures already standing there, soon after Killy's truck stopped there as well.I have a bad feeling. Shadow wanted to see his old friends again knowing he was on there side, but meeting after an explosion wasn't the best even though he put out the fire. "Well, better go back just in case." he said to himself walking back to the ruined gym.

Killy greeted all of his friends with a smile before introducing his tag along, "This is Sam, she was stopping by my shop for directions and help as I was getting ready to leave." he said pointing over his shoulder to his shop on wheels attached to the back of the truck as Sadie went to check the cargo to make sure nothing spilled, "Yeah bro...two years heh, it's good to see you're still...well...alive for one heh." Eklyx said with a smile, it was hard for him to hate anyone, a terrible flaw in Killy, but it's just who he was; turning to Raiu he chuckled, "Heh, I'm glad I'm not a sear on the pavement either bro." he said before walking over to Roland, "When you're free bro, got something I need to show you and everyone, stuff that'll come in handy if things get bad, savvy?" he stated with his business face on.

Samantha glanced back at the guy named Raiu, stopping herself from saying something rude. Well, it was only slightly rude. Something like their meeting was only nice for him. Rishi had always told her she was a tad on the rude side and would always give Sam one of those looks whenever the younger one showed that rudeness. Never again would she see one of those slightly scorning looks. She used to wish that those looks would never be sent her way again. Now she missed them.

Her gaze switched back to Desmond. She almost laughed, her smile growing wider. Dashing! No one had ever called her dashing before. Usually she was called twit or other words meaning similar things. It was simply sublime to be called dashing.

Sam could almost kiss Killy when he introduced her-although she wouldn't. She was not the type to act spontaneous in that way. She hated talking to others more than necessary and introductions were a bore. It had taken all of her fortitude to introduce herself to Killy earlier and had not been sure she could do it again in such a short period of time. A small part of her wondered what things Killy had for from his shop that would come in handy. Potions and such were the logical choice. That did not seemed like all there was. What could it be? She turned her attention back to Desmond. "Yes, one of them and you'll escort me to the rest, that I have no doubt."

So much was going on, Roland was getting confused for a bit. He was aware that Kerri was alright, though a little shaken up, it seemed. He was aware that some of the people had followed him back. He was aware that Desmond had made an appearance, and that awareness made him once again aware of the location of his weapons. And he was aware that Killy was talking to him. Finally, the gym leader stood and looked at everyone, then stared at Desmond. "Well, you may not have a gym anymore. That's fine with me, I couldn't care less." Roland leaned close and grabbed the man by the shirt, then pulled his face within inches of Roland's own face. He used to be a mercenary, he knew how to manipulate them. "But at least I can rebuild my gym. You're doomed to wander about, a simple homeless sell-sword. So glad I got out of that profession... But then again, you are nowhere near the expert mercenary I was in my time." Roland released the man with that and added "You're not welcome in this town, Desmond. You know that. No Nightwalker is. If you know what's good for you, you'll be leaving now." With that, he turned to Killy and nodded at his mention of supplies. "I'd like to see what you have. Maybe you'll have something useful, whether it be for fighting or rebuilding my gym." Roland then glanced over at the rubble again and sighed. He walked over and picked up the plaque that had hung next to the front door on his gym and sighed. The plaque had been an addition to the gym from the first time it was destroyed. Of course, it was under way different circumstances. Shaking his head, he traced the words on the plaque with his finger. He had kept editing it over time, scratching more names into it.

"This gym is dedicated to the memories of our fallen gym leaders. They've come and gone over the years, and though they may still hang around, they will be missed.

One little Indian boy was left all alone.

Flandre was riding on top of her Arcanine's back, she was face up and resting on him as he gently strode along the road, without a care in the world. He had a smile on his face and everything, until he approached the group of people standing before him. He accidentally bumped into Killy, since Arcanine was walking along with a smile on his face and his eyes closed. Flandre fell off of her Arcanine from that small bump and was abruptly awoken, "Ugh...Arcanine...what is it? Why'd you stop? What happened? Where are--" she stopped as soon as she saw the group of people and immediately hide behind her Arcanine and his big bushy tail. "W-Who are you people...and w-where am I?" she asked with a nervous aura about her, still burying her face in her Arcanine's tail. She was the shortest out of everyone there and it was very clear. She didn't like confrontation with people..well..not living ones anyways.

He went and hanged himself and then there were none...
