With the close quarters the shifter was unable to dodge the attack taking the shoulder full on. However, the shifter kept a firm hold of the chain around Shun's arm and neck. If they were going down they were going to drag Shun with them. Twisted so that the chain was beside them they attempted to drag Shun to the ground with his own momentum, trying to avoid being trapped underneath him at the same time. This fight had gone on rather long, a retreat was in order and the shifter had just the plan in mind.

With the last bit of their strength the shifter tugged hard on the chain to hopefully force Shun to spin out and unravel from the chain as he fell and avoid getting hit by the blade. Already falling and being so close there wasn't much else they could do.

In the end the dagger still managed to slice into their arm, though the shifter didn't make any sort of indication that it had hurt. When they hit the ground the shifter rolled away from the assassin and back to their feet. They were bordering on being fatigued so without any further hesitation they darted off through the warehouse.

Mitsu just so happened to be in the back behind a locked door. It was going to be tricky but if Nyx played her cards right Shun wouldn't be any the wiser.

Nyx took down a hallway and when she looked back realized she had lost the assassin. Now was the time to lay a trail, though she was going to have to be careful on how she did this. With the wounds she had if Shun noticed he would be able to pin down who she was.

Touching the wound on her side she left a light blood smear across the wall like she might have lost her balance from being tired. Which wasn't far from the truth. Continuing down the hall she left another blood smear shortly before a window. Prying the window open she was sure to leave blood marks there was well but she didn't flee out the window. Instead she left it open and carefully retraced her steps a few feet. Wiping her hands down on her already bloody jacket she used what little energy she had left to transmute her clothes into something different. The jacket became a long sleeved black shirt, which was similar to what she had on earlier with only minor differences. At least it would hide the wounds and the blood.

Producing a key Nyx quickly unlocked the door she had stopped in front of and stepped inside. Mitsu was still there on the blankets she had set her on, fast asleep. She couldn't bring herself to tie the girl up, something about her just hit a sense of nostalgia. Quickly closing the door Nyx locked it again with the key since there was no lock to hand turn and pocketed the key. The ropes she had intended to use on Mitsu were still on the ground and with a little work she managed to create a loop to squeeze her hands into and wrapped the rope around herself a couple of times to make it looked like she had been tied up. It was crude but effective enough as she secured her hands behind herself. As long as the rope wasn't heavily inspected it would suffice.

Moving over toward Mitsu, Nyx knelt down a nudged the girl lightly. When she didn't stir she nudged her again. It was possible she had used a little too much chloroform. "Hey...Wake up."

Finally Mitsu's eyes fluttered open and she looked up toward Nyx in a confused and dazed manner. "N..nyx?" Her head was pounding, bringing her hand up to press to her temple she tried to sit up. "Where are we? What happened?"

"I'm not sure," Nyx wasn't trying to be quiet though she wasn't being overly loud. The walls weren't super thick and neither was the door. It was easy enough to hear through them. "Hey, untie me so we can get out of here."

Trying to comply with that request Mitsu sat up but immediately fell back down. It seemed she hadn't quite gotten her bearings yet from the stuff used to knock her out.

Mitsu jumped when the door burst open, her crimson eyes as wide as they could be. "S..Shun? How did...you find us?" Trying to sit up again Mitsu pressed a hand to her aching head. "I..I think I'm okay. I'm not really sure...what happened." She was still trying to collect her thoughts but then she remembered she was supposed to untie Nyx. Sitting up a little better she moved toward the girl, though slowly.

"I can tell you what happened, we got blind sided by thugs," Nyx looked frustrated as she turned toward Shun. "It took you long enough to get here. Were you waiting for an invitation?"

"N...nyx, please don't be that way," Mitsu said softly finally making it over toward the girl where she fiddled with the knot around her hands. It was tight so Mitsu was having a hard time.

"Ch, your such an a**, Smiles. Who pissed in your cereal this morning? At least I have an excuse, I was ******** kidnapped." It seemed Nyx wasn't going to shut up as she continued to rant on, but finally Mitsu got the knot undone and her hands were free which left her able to wiggle out of the rest of the ropes.

Looking toward Shun Mitsu seemed to finally notice the assassin was injured. "S..Shun. You're hurt." She whined trying to get to her feet and head toward him but her legs just didn't want to cooperate with that idea. "What happened to you?"

"A..dog? But you don't smell like a dog you smell like..." Mitsu had to give it some thought as she gave the air another quick sniff. Maybe it was whatever was used to knock her out or the fact that she had just been by Nyx but he smelled of her and cat. "You smell like a cat....kinda."

But at the mention of leaving Mitsu dropped it and managed to stand herself back up with Shun's help. She was ready to be out of here, it was a little creepy. "But why did they take me to begin with?"

"I have a theory," Nyx started looking toward Shun in a thoughtful manner as she got to her feet as well. It seemed like her movements were slowed but over all she was hiding her injuries well.
