Puh! Ares rolled his eyes at the other zodiacs, huddling together and playing kissing face. NOW WAS NOT THE TIME FOR SUCH NONSENSE! This was war, man, WAR! It was a time for action, and fighting, and STEALING SOCKS (hah, you'll never have a complete pair again, take THAT), and RAWR--

His mental tirade had been cut off, interrupted by the sudden appearance of...HOLY s**t THAT WAS A BIG DRAGON! Oh but that was not going to phase the little zodiac, it still had eyes, and he was still going to CLAW THEM OUT!

"I be Ares, and I'll not be lettin' you get away with such a heinous act!"

Oh dear, it seemed that Scottish accent had stuck from his last roll, or maybe it was from several rolls ago, who knew.

"Now come down here and face me, I'll claw yer eyes out!"

HISS! He was jumping up and down in his fury, fur puffed out like he'd stuck his paw in a light socket. That's right, come down here, I'll make sure you regret ever crossing paths with me!

Well that was certainly the largest wishing creature she had ever seen! She gasped at the revaluation to who it was. Oh my. Not good at all. Wait was that a gingerbread house?

"We will not tolerate you destroying those dear to us!" Nothing to do with that would ever be forgivable, ever.

"I am Luna and your star will be going out soon!"

So someone had been working to find out the culprit - at least all this time hadn't been completely wasted. But the appearance of the villain rocked the cave hard enough that she had to crouch to keep from falling. She gasped in surprise at the sight of the dreaded Deathcharm.

Silver stepped forward, quivering slightly with suppressed anger (definitely not fear, oh no). "Foul monster, you have destroyed our homes, but you will never destroy our spirits! I am Silver, and I will fight you with everything I have. Friendship will always conquer evil, of that you can be sure!" She was a little surprised out how confident she sounded, but then, she was an actress. And she actually did believe it. Between them, they knew all the stories there were, and how to always defeat the enemy. Surely, working together, they could beat even the dragon that stood before them!

Watching everyone else rally and cheer, watching them support each other and spur them on made Princess Red realize her fears about everything were silly, nonsensical things that had no place here. Then the appearance of Death Charm Senior put all those fears back into her heart, their mark searing painfully as she finally let out a desperate whimper. And then once again, the others were stepping forward and proclaiming themselves. No one else had crumpled, no one had given up and no one seemed intimidated by this dark and massive creature. Why should she?
(Because he tried to kill them, all of them and destroyed their home. And he wasn't very nice. Those were very valid reasons, but no!)

"I am Princess Red!" She was speaking before she had realized it, her voice much louder than she felt and gaining strength as well as feeling. "You have destroyed our home and threatened my friends and family!" Did she have friends? Probably somewhere she did. Or maybe it was just something nice to say. Perhaps by the end of this she would have a few friends! Such a though made her voice and chest swell once more. "Such an act is atrocious and unforgivable! You will be held responsible for your actions and we shall be the ones to make you pay!"

If she hadn't known herself at all, Princess Red might have found that very inspiring. Honestly, she found it a smidge inspiring that she'd be so brave to jump forward and proclaim herself so full of pride in her home. Now that she was front and center she realized this and took three tentative steps back, making sure to hide behind the closest person, who happened to be Silver. Hopefully they didn't mind her taking them as cover. No need to needlessly throw her neck out there, but she did feel the tiny tug of wanting to be close to the action. Hadn't she already told herself no more hiding? Right! No more hiding! So in the end her head ended up awkwardly tilted around Silver, her eyes glaring at the beast and her heart thumping in fear.

Firstborn? Why was he going to...oh. Charon gained a very strange look that was interjected by the squealing little fluffball of gloriousness beneath his cloak before she shot out and ran down the mouth of the cave towards that gigantic, somewhat familiar, voice.

If Wishing Moon could have had a fanboy cheering squad, Prince Rose would have headed up that committee and been right there front and center. She had a certain kind of flare that everyone tried to imitate and a few fell short. Had anyone actually asked him he would have said that they all fell short. All but himself of course! The absolutely perfect retort had come to his mind almost immediately but the timing on these things were absolutely crucial.

If you did it wrong you might as well have not spoken at all! There was a light tremor at that though just seeing Wishing Moon standing there all brave and cute, flanked by several other equally brave wishes, had the speech welling up inside of him until it exploded out in a flare of the most dramatic kind.

He was so good at this.

Flaring out his cloak with a snap had rose petals showering the entire gathering of Wishing creatures out in front of Death Charm (the Senior, of course!) with their fragrance and presence. The rose which had been previously clamped rather firmly in his mouth was flung with a great flick of his head and landed in the dirt on a perfect point.

So good at this.

Now, without the rose, his voice was loud and clear with righteousness and the perfect cadence of the well-timed public speaker. "You've destroyed our home but never will you destroy our spirits! They burn higher and brighter than any of your ridiculous burning rocks and we will never be crushed by the weight of your evil! Band together Wishing friends and together it will be us that crushes this malevolence!" Another flick of the cape, another shower of rose petals, and he stepped up next to Wishing Moon.

This was only the beginning and they would persevere!

Jade jumped when a booming voice suddenly interrupted Little Star, looking about a little wide-eyed. He had never even met the mini Deathcharm formally - much less the Senior one!

As such, the small blond minipet was a bit shaken up as he stared up at the menacing figure. So his introduction was a bit weak, though he tried. "I am Jade! A-and we're gonna take you down!"

Wishing Uranus cast her gaze downward, her figure standing resolute even under the shadow of Death Charm Sr.

"The screams of all those that we love have echoed across space for too long. Each voice has created a shooting star that pelted through our hearts... but they did not make us weak, and they did not make us crumble with fear. For the glory of the wind that streaks across the sky and fills me with courage, I am Wishing Uranus!"

The blonde whipped her head upward, Death Charm Sr.'s fire dancing in the reflection of her eyes.

"No matter what you try, no matter how many of us may fall-- all of us will fight until the last of our strength is crushed from our lungs! From the light of the White Moon that guides us all, the Wishing Friends will wreak our vengeance!"

The wind stopped her voice from booming across the surface, but there was still determination in her eyes. It wasn't her best introduction, but it was a stellar one.

Azure felt a sense of pride and happiness to see the others group together in the presence of such a disaster, and that sense only grew upon the approach of Death Charm Sr. To be quite honest Azure was quite scared of the giant beast. Taking a deep breath Azure calmed herself. It was now or nothing, and it wasn't like she was alone. No, her and all her cousins were standing side by side together. He may be big, but they had numbers!

Azure gathered her courage and stepped forward.

"I am Azure and your fury will be quelled by the hearts of all those here today! We will not allow you to destroy our home any further!!" Azure managed to squeak out trying to play it cool and composed but slightly shakes in fear. Still...she was standing and she wasn't about to run away.
