There was a quiet click, a flash of red, and Nadja's Metagross materialized behind the group.
This was a good thing, because immediately after the elite was using it to lean against as she did her unsuccessful best to suppress her laughter, resulting in shaking shoulders and the occasional squeaking noise.
The creature lowered its body enough that she could clamber onto its flat back and float toward the group, high and dry and trying very, very hard not to smile.
"We should probably keep moving," she managed as she leaned over to offer a hand.

Faleen did her best to hold onto the rock wall, but her gloves were wet, and so was the wall, so when Seth pulled, and she tightened her grip to give her a better chance at pulling him out, her fingers slid off of the wall, while both her and the other grunt helping him were pulled into the mud.
"AH!" she yelped in surprise, before feeling the squelch of the mud hit her.

Isadora held out her hand to help the Elite up, but as she did, he indeed slipped and pulled her down with him and one of the other Rockets into the mud. She yelped as she fell down into the muck and held out her hands to try and stop herself from landing in the mud head-on. The result was her uniform being completely covered in mud all over the front, and mud soaking her arms up to her elbows. Isadora growled in frustration and thanked her lucky stars that she decided to wear contacts to this raid.
Iditarod was instantly by her master's side, gently grasping the back of the woman's uniform and pulling her up out of the mud. She carefully dragged her human out and stood her upright, sniffing her to be positive that her body was unharmed [even if her dignity was, slightly].

It seemed dry-cleaning was in the Rockets' destiny. Lucas breathed a sigh - amused as he was - as Isadora and Faleen fell as well, moving to help the mechanic in hopes that removing one of the smaller forms would make it easier to help up the others as well, though it seemed Isadora had her circumstances well enough under control.

"I would if I could move," Seth growled, reaching for Nadja's hand as she sailed overhead and grasped it.
A smirk then crossed his face as he then gave a firm tug with intent of pulling Nadja off the Metagross and into the mud as well.

Taking Nadja's actions as a lead, Liam also called Viral from his Poke Ball yet again, kneeling at the Metagross's side and quickly tying a couple pieces of rope to his feet that could dangle down. He wasn't giving anyone the opportunity to pull him into the mud!
"Viral, Magnet Rise!" he cried after scrambling onto its flat back. As they made their way over the rest of the ground, Liam called out, "Feel free to grab onto a rope and I'll try to pull you out!

"Er, yeah. Thanks." Leonard's face was red from embarrassment underneath the mud. But he accepted the help from the other Rocket anyways and took his hand. He was careful not to drag him into the mud as well, like what Seth and the others were doing.
Steve was amused by the show and wagged his tail in laughter. Leonard ignored him and took the cue from Nadja to send out his own Metagross. However, Omega was not as coordinated as the other Metagross and almost slipped in the mud himself. Leonard grabbed onto its leg just in time and the giant metal Pokemon righted itself.
"There's probably room for two if you don't feel like getting dirty." He told the grunt that helped him as he clambered onto its back. With a Leafeon in tow.

Being unable to move was certainly not something she liked, especially being stuck so low to where her head was, the weight on her backpack wasn't helping her mobility either.
Banette was floating over her in circles, unsure of what to do. "Ba Banette."
"Oh dear" she sighed, trying to refrain from struggling to much.
when a rope was offered to them, she tried to move her legs down into the mud, to give her something to push against so she can free her arms up. she had little luck with that though.
She managed to get one of her arms out, a mud caked hand grabbing onto the rope from Liam. "okay, I got it"

While the others were slowly getting out of the mud, Mau turned to Nyx. He sighed slightly before half kneeling down. He pretty much picked up the muddy scientist, not about to risk her pulling him into the mud. "Thought you were going to be careful." he teased.

It looked like everyone was beginning to find their way across the spiteful mud, and so Lucas found his way as well - in the form of a couple of ropes dangling from a hovering Metagross. Well, that was... different. But okay. He seized one of the ropes and brought himself to a safe distance from the trolling ground below as the steel-type conveniently conveyed him from point mud to point dry.

"Your welcome." Alexander smiled. He had hooked Conrad's pokeball back onto his belt so not to lose it encase he was pulled it. But since the other male had managed to not do the same as Seth the blond grunt was able to keep as clean as he had been from just walking in the cave. "If your sure it's not a bother, thanks." he said after Leonard offered him a seat. He climbed up onto the Metagross and gave it a pat of thanks.

"Seth!" Nadja shrieked, grabbing for a handhold on the Metagross' slick metal surface. Thankfully she was spared a messy destiny when the Iron Leg Pokemon tipped back with enough force to counter the tug and pull Seth out of the deep mud instead.
"You're horrible." She was half-laughing and half-angry. "Focus."

"I was plenty careful..." Nyx half pouted, "There was an unexpected slipping variable." It was embarrassing, falling in the mud, but she could redeem herself! "Darwin, transform." The gol-mew blinked at its owner for a second, before glowing and changing size. When the glow faded, the pokemon was a silver and gold Metagross, and hovered in the air, just above the mud.
"Look, now I'm being extra-careful." Nyx pointed at Darwin in his new form, and climbed up on top of it, waiting for Mau to join her before giving the order for the pokemon to hover on.

Instead of waiting for anyone else to grab onto the ropes, Liam decided to pull Lucas and Faleen out so Viral wouldn't be weighed down too much.
"Looks like we got some on the hook, Viral. Up and at'em," he said gently, giving the large steel Pokemon a pat on the back. As it ascended towards the pointed ceiling he could hear and audible pop from the Grunts below as they were pulled from the mud. They moved slowly but steadily to the other side of the mud pit to drop Faleen and Lucas off, once again descending until Lucas's feet were mere inches from the ground.
"I think this is your stop, ma'am and sir?"

There was a shout of surprise as Seth was suddenly yanked out of the mud. His stomach painfully hitting the back of the Metagross, and finding himself draped over it. The elite grunted irritably, but didn't complain since his muddy destiny was now at an end.
Will though decided to take one of the offers to ride on a Metagross, whichever had room still, and avoided getting covered in muck.
