Arikku lifted her head up and set her paintbrush down on the easel. She looked to Tora and listened.

Tora smiled at her students. "I just want to show you some brush strokes that might help you in your painting." Tora turned her back and picked up a blank canvas. "This is a method that's pretty hard," she said, picking up a brush. She dipped it in paint and ran a finger along the bristles, making the paint splatter onto the white canvas. "This is a splatter effect. The thing it's used for most are things like rain and snow or...," she paused, thinking who would want to do this, "... or blood." She cringed.

Sakura picked up her brush and slightly dipped it in the paint. Then Sakura ran her finger along the bristles, thinking of how rain looks. Sakura managed to make a few splatters of paint but not as much as Tora-sensei. "Tora-sensei, Am I doing this correct?" Sakura asked

Luna knew the brush style well and taking out a flatened wide spread brush she dipped the tips in pale blue-white pain running a gentle finger across the end ot give a small splatter effect on her painting focussing on using it to add the small color to the eggs int he nest. Without realizing she had started to hum to herself lost in her own world once again where her mind took flight.

AkanoChan Sakura picked up her brush and slightly dipped it in the paint. Then Sakura ran her finger along the bristles, thinking of how rain looks. Sakura managed to make a few splatters of paint but not as much as Tora-sensei. "Tora-sensei, Am I doing this correct?" Sakura asked Tora walked over to Sakura and observed how she was doing it. "That's correct, Sakura-chan," she smiled. "You don't want too much paint because it wont splatter, it'll blot." Tora walked back to the front of the room and got a new brush, one with thicker bristles. With it dry, and no thinner, she dipped it in the paint and dabbed it on the canvas in quick jabbing motions. "This is a 'stippling' effect. It's great for shrubbery and trees."

Sakura noted what Tora-sensei had told her and then picked up brush with thicker bristles, put paint on it and dabbed it on the canvas in the quick motion motion Tora-sensei had demonsrated.

Reijin continued her painting, using the stippling effect to add in shubbery around the lake. Smiling at the scene developing, she cleaned her brush, dipped it in a yellow paint, and stippled it over her greenery, pleased with the result as the yellow and green mixed in places.

Luna smiled and copied the motion with her own brush to add moss ont he branches and to add shine and shadow under the branches and on the petals. finished she signed her signature at the bottom and looking to their sensei she smiled cleaning her brushes and waiting for further instructions or idea's.

Arikku continued to paint. She finished the lake so she started to do the grass. She ran her brush in short stroke to create the look of the blades. She smiled as she remembered this scene. She then shook it off an continued to paint the greenery (I dunno if that's a word).
When she finished that she painted in the sky. She loved texture so she found a cotton ball and pulled it apart. She stuck it onto the wet paint. They looked exactly like she remembered, fluffy but thinner. She added flowers and signed her name at the bottom.
She smiled as she looked at the work.

Tora made a round and watched all of the students' art progress. "You are are doing so well!" she clapped. "Class is dissmissed!" she smiled. "I'll be here if you need any help of have questions." She bowed to her students to signify the dissmissal formaly.

Tora stepped into her classroom and opened it up to air out. The smell of paint wafted into her nose, making her smile. She rang a bell and waited for her students to enter.

Tohru slowly and cautiously entered the classroom. She stopped and her face lit up seeing her older sister.
"Onee-sama, I didn't know you taught a class," Tohru said smiling. "May I join?"
