"Will you accompany me on a walk through the gardens?" The question, though simple, held a lot more in it than a simple offer. The man's face showed little emotion and Victor's body was perfectly erect. The noble stance that the prince held only complimented the request for a stroll.

"I have my reasons from distancing myself from the world around me." The confession that rolled so delicately from Vick's lips seemed to be the most sincere thing the man had ever said. Taking her hand to the bend in his arm, the prince silently escorted the woman from the castle to the gardens. Keeping to the cobblestone path, Vick relaxed and every so often he stole a glance at the woman at his side.

The professional tone in Vick's words completely washed away any hint of enjoyment that he was showing. "Nonetheless, when we are wed and our kingdoms combine, they will be sure to have the strictest of order under my rule."

A chuckle rumbled from the prince's lips and the man tilted his head up with a smile."Of course you will. You'll handle all of the inner affairs just as a woman should. And of course you will have to spend plenty of time baring sons to carry on my name." Vick slowly slid his hands into his pockets and stopped in the stone gazebo in the center of the garden. Leaning his weight against the railing, Victor's eyes darted everywhere but towards the princess.

"You will eventually have a son. If not, we will allow a mid wife." A cut of victor's eyes to the princess matched his smile perfectly. "It will be your duty as my queen to bare my children. The first conception process must begin on the night we are wed. This is how it has been done for generations. I realize that you are stubborn, but you will not break tradition for your own selfish needs."

A heavy sigh rolled from Victor's lips and the man sank down onto the bench beneath him with a frown pressing over his dry lips. The prince shifted his weight against the stone and rested his head back against the railing.

The sounds of Victor's boots pacing over the stone floor echoed through his chamber while Lord Haste read off duties and assignments to be attended to directly after the ceremony.Once the older gentleman had concluded the long list, Vick collapsed onto the stiff bed with his hands brushing through his emerald colored hair. "Can I have some privacy?" The prince requested with a groan and moments later he heard the click of his chamber door but he continued to hear footsteps after he had heard his chamber door lock. "I said I want to be alone." Victor grumbled and opened his eyes only to see the wizard sitting over his waist. Wide eyes became a dominant feature on the prince's face and his heart began to race with a heavy thump. A rough exchange occurred for the better part of an hour leaving Victor's clothing askew and his body exhausted from the struggles. The prince, full of adrenaline and exhausted from the encounter, watched from the windowsill as the wizard ran from the castle discretely. With a panting breath, Victor panicked and opened his door for the chamberlain that quickly attended to his body and dressed the prince in his fully white attire for the wedding.
