I'm not really any of these. i do strive to be first chair...though i am, i wouldn't let someone take that from me. but i hardly practice like twice a week. i'm just talented. i don't have to try that hard. mrgreen heart mrgreen

What do you call a student who practices for meh... 1 or 2 hours a week, knows scales if you tell him the notes ((major not minor)) and corrects the rest of his little section of 3rd trumpet players but has teh potential to be in second like he already has... and has forcibly moved from last chair to 3rd to last so _ _ vhere _ _ _ _ _ _?

I'm really wierd because I am a perfectionist but I don't practice...EVER. What's wierder is that I always get better daily. Also, with ear training, I'm always right and I have perfect pitch. A lot of people are jealous of me.

I'm kinda in the middle between AVERAGE JOE and the PERFECTIONIST. I practise about seven to ten hours a week, sometimes I'm too loud(which is weird coming from a flute it's not really forte' just really squeaky lol), then sometimes I'm the perfect angel and do favors and suck up and blah blah blah! I LOVE BEING A BAND GEEK EITHER WAY THOUGH!

That's only part true. I like, never practice at home but I can match pitch, get my scales and play pretty darn fast. I do have a very short attention span and talk a lot but such is our band. I mean, there's only one person in our band that matches one of those completely and that's our lead trumpet. Can I hear a "Perfectionist"?

I'm a mix of average joe and perfectionist, because I'm at the top of my section (and always have been on the current instrument), but I never get around to practicing... Speaking of that, I probably should be doing that right now...

Well, I guess that I'd be the perfection person in skill, but I never practice. xd (Seriously, I haven't practiced in months. >_> <_< surprised ) But I talk a lot too, and our BD doesn't mind since we have a tiny band.
