He knew Europa, the pain in his backside that she was, and he HATED her damn power. It was a heavy force that forced you down, down, and felt like bricks were on your back. Worse of all, it slowed you down, and in a place erupting with geysers, it wasn't the place you wanted to be grounded in. That and the ground wafted heat and loose ash, and he would rather not be on the ground. This time though, he was a Captain, but this time, someone else also had their power up as well. Europa looked different than before, and he knew that meant she was at another rank. Higher than him, he wasn't sure, but she wasn't the same as before.

As her attack was summoned, he did what he remembered of her attack. He couldn't be thrown back, but fighting her was going to be hard. He had a wait, and let her come to him. He'd be slow. He knew that. He'd find it hard to move or run, so he had to stay sturdy and in place. That was his tactic, and he reached up to whip his blades back, and waited as he took a stance to take the full blunt of her attack. It was harder to breath with the pressure on his body, and even harder still with the heat. He met the kick with arms raised, taking it and keeping his footing, being pushed back and taking steps away to compensate. He just had to wait. Had to make it. Push through until that pressure was gone and then KILL!

When the cowboy-styled Bismuthite acknolwedge her, she started to move with him, towards Zink and Alkaid -- but then her companion summoned his weapon and started off to help the topless captain, Wolframite. Well, either way, she wanted action and she was ready to help kick some a**!

Moonstone swung her water-logged and warped mask, leaping into the fray with a shrill battle-cry.

Only to be stopped dead in her tracks by a Senshi attack: she heard it, then felt it rush over her, heavier even than the volcano's already thickened atmosphere and her body wouldn't respond to commands! Moonstone was paralyzed during the oddly perfect landing from her leap, stuck in a crouch that would benefit her once she could move again.

The only benefit she found in her paralysis was that she could just see Zink and Alkaid - they were moving to group too! Yes! Once they were together, these Senshi fools would get their asses handed to them...and she would fully enjoy the crunching sound of bone-against-wood!

With Ganymede out of the way, Tate crouched on the ground, intent on making herself small. Her lanky limbs made it a little bit difficult, but she was managing. God, no one had even done anything, why the hell was he--why was he even doing that? She knew he wasn't as good as he'd been telling her he was, but now... but now!

"Don't focus on his weapons," she shouted, "Watch the area around you!"

So what if she was just going off advice she'd read in old Silent Hill player's guides? It was good advice. Much better than Ganymede seemed to have heard before. -- and now there were more enemies approaching. She was definitely not in a position to fight them--a civilian, powerless, against... well, ********. She had to clear out. She rolled back and away from the other civilian--Azzo?--far enough that she could see the approaching enemies and the senshi. One hand went up over her chest, protectively; whatever it was they wanted with her starseed, whether to steal it or to... do whatever Zinkenite had hinted at... they weren't going to have it.

Azzo's honey brown eyes turned back to Tate and Ganymede offering his hand to help them. He didn't remember Wolfy having knives before just that dumb jump rope.

Tate interested him though, "Come on you two laying on this ground I don't think is good." He offered his hand to help whoever took it up, he'd scrambled up a few moments after Europa pounced on him, "We should stick together though, not good to leave one person fighting and the others to flail around."

He frowned softly his other hand holding a Lava rock which he'd previously played like a hot potato, he smiled, "At least there's rocks? It's something to defend ourselves with?" He offered unsure of Ganymede's power. He was watching around them, "Does anyone else feel like they're being watched?" He was hoping he was just paranoid.

However at that moment poor Ganymede was attacked too, fffff. Azzo took the moment to move and aim a punch at the captain that Ganymede just attacked.... hoping to hit Alumo he was sorta hit by Ganymede's attack too, because something started to smell like gram's apple pie baking... So he wasn't really paying attention if his punch connected. "... Is there a kitchen here?"

The humidity was horrible, but one thing about sudden impossible acrobatic agility was that you could take some of it off with the wind created by your own motions. So, Sailor Atlas was jumping around like a cricket half for the sake of dodging geysers, and half for the sake of cooling himself off. Unfortunately, one could still manage to be clumsy in situations like this, and the senshi really should have been watching where he was going. Because instead of hitting solid ground, his boot smacked into Lieutenant Moonstone.

It was hot, like really hot. It hit him instantly his brain woke up, and sweat began to build up against the back of his nerdy shirt. Urg. And there was a horrible smell, like sulfer and ash and something akin to a Volcano. Like the one that was over there and all around him. Geysers were spilling all around him, making him lose his footing and he stumbled a bit - especially as his body felt awkward and too responsive, like it had (for the lack of better terms) improved. The bottom of his long pajama pants burned a little from the heat of the place and began to turn brown to black.

Oh, what the ********. These were not the conditions he had gone to sleep in and none that he had hoped to ever wake up in. They were close, different smells and smoke had been in the air but those were good smells and smoke. These were frowny-face worthy.

And frowny-face Sheldon did as he looked around at his surroundings and at his company. There were senshi, none that he knew, and what were probably negaverse agents, again... wait.. one looked familiar, and even a few non-magical people such as himself (was that.. wait, he knew two of them). And, well he really shouldn't be surprised, fighting had broken out between the two factions. The green haired boy's unpleasant expression deepened as he stumbled backwards, his arm reaching out haphazardly for a wall or rock or something to get him out of the way.

His staff had unfortunately made contact with the ground, but Alumo wasn’t about to give up. The Senshi who he had no idea of whether it was a boy or a girl had rolled out of the way of his attack, but not far enough to get to safety. The dark eyed Negaverse Captain pulled his staff back, preparing to strike again, when suddenly…

Suddenly…

Oh god… waffles...

He could smell them. They were around there, somewhere. Sweet, buttery, delicious waffles, just like his mommy makes for him back home… How he missed his mom’s waffles, but he would just have to deal with gobbling down whatever plate he could find in this god forsaken plain.

Alumo was so distracted by the scent that he didn’t even notice the civilian coming up beside him and punching him square in the jaw!! He reeled back in alarm, unaware of how distracted he’d been, his hand going up to part of his abused face, brushing his tongue against his lip, tasting blood in the corner.

Oh, this civilian was going to pay.

Instead of attacking Ganymede again, he brought his staff around, aimed for Azzo’s side.
