Katanara nodded in polite elf-style as Vera introduced herself and her companions. "Katanara Guilespiel," she said, opening her ice fan blade-down in a non-threatening stance. "Master of the ice katana." Without another word she sheathed her fan, left Vera, and sat down in an empty corner somewhat removed from the others.

((I was gone for a day and there's already so much to read...))

Dante scouted the area, making sure to stay in the light. When he had encountered the nightcrawlers, they seemed to fear the light, so he assumed it was best for him to stay under the bright moonlight. He spotted the shadows of a group of people as he climbed over a hill. "What dost thou have here?"

Taking a closer look, the group of people weren't exactly human. It was an assortment of different beings, from elves to demons. "I certainly have come to the right place to investigate. Meeting non-human creatures out here in the open...something must be amidst here." Dante masked his aura and cautiously walked towards the group.

"W-who's there?!" he yelled, acting the part of the frightened villager. "This area's closed to the public after hours. Get outta here!"

"Where am I from?" repeated Lilian, distractedly staring off in the distance. "Greece. Somewhere around there" She shook herself, remembering where they were and what they were talking about "Yes. Nice to meet you, Hopp."

Jule listened to Vera's inflammatory comments about the human race and laughed quietly into her hand. She saw a tall, awkward young man with bloodstained coat sleeves furiously bobbing his head in agreement and grinning like a loon out of the corner of her eye. He seemed so earnest that it was clear that he hadn't been listening. Was he dizzy from blood loss?

Glancing around she saw the non-humans standing around reverting to a humanoid form. She checked herself for any abnormalities and found none. As the rest of the party moved for the woods to rest, her eyes found Vaness's unconscious body still lying on the ground. "Whose baggage is this--?" She trailed off as she noticed that no one was listening. Jule shrugged and slung the man over her shoulder with little effort. She hoped that this wasn't some random human on his vacation. There'd be hell to pay when he woke up.

She had been content to simply hang back and follow the group in silence- this group seemed to be full of interesting and lively people, so much livelier than the folks back in-. As if at random she drew a blank on whatever memory she was trying to recall. Who?

Zetes beamed as he listened to Akahana detail PAN's mission. This was the group he'd been looking for. With a group like PAN eradication of those pests was possible. He could already feel the last nightcrawler's skull grinding to dust under his foot.

Lilian jolted back to alertness for the tenth time at Vera's shout and rushed forward to investigate. She was quickly followed by Zetes, who had stumbled forward in nervous excitement, and Jule, who strolled calmly after him with an unconscious person slung over a shoulder.

Sorry (Kurtsy) for not posting in so long; I've been without my own computer for a month now, and the person I'm sharing with is hogging this one.
So it seems as if all of my characters have developed some kind of intermittent daydreaming syndrome. They're silently and non-creepily following the rest of the group. I'll try to clean up after them better.
Will there be a leader?

Bingo! Alec had walked into the center of the ring of dots, and opened his eyes to find an orange-haired girl next to a sleeping purple-haired witch? It was hard to tell, a gorgon and vampire aura hung in the air. But as to the people currently visible, the rest of PAN were human. Dark aura suddenly flooded Alec's senses, causing him to flinch. The demonic aura was unmistakable and it was mixed in with the newly fallen angel's, Nightingale, aura. The sheer darkness of it all was suffocating, forgetting about introducing himself, Alec leaned against the nearest tree. His head was exploding in fireworks, What the heck?! I've never encountered aura this strong before, especially in a fledgling demon! Alec's vision was starting to swim, he closed his eyes and focused on bringing his mental wall back up again.

Nightingale pulled from the dark abyss of her mind the most painful memories she wanted to have erased. The memory of her falling from grace, then the memory of waking up as a human girl knowing she failed, and even the day God turned her away in front of everyone.

"Please." Nightingale whispered to no one in particular. Her aura's power flashed with the presence of another angel before Alec had a time to put up a sheild. Loosing focus and falling backward from Hana she hit the ground and landed on her butt and hands. God mother f*ckin damn it! OF COURSE AN ANGEL WOULD COME!!! Nightingale cursed in her mind. "There's more people here Hana.... One of them is an angel, I suggest if you wish to keep your demonic abilities and body you hide your aura."

The arm-branches had unwound themselves at the miserable brat's order, which irritated Vera, but did not thwart her. She let the branch-arms return to their source and created a giant hand that she slammed into the ground around but not touching the newcomer. "You still haven't answered my question," she spat the few moments after she'd created the "jail cell". "Who are you, and why are you out here if this place is, as you said, "closed"?"

At his accusation, Vera had been tempted to mute him--for the time being anyways--but she was part of this PAN thing now...and rule number one is protect the...the humans. The idiots. Besides the usual condescension though, there was still a trace of pity in her thought.

Evangeline had hardly gotten a few hours of rest, but it felt like nothing, what with that strange vision and the suffocating darkness. She yawned and sat up. Where was she? She glanced around before recognizing and remembering the last few hours. Where's Vera gotten to?

She looked about. There was another angel-like person here now, DA and Hana were gone, and though she could sense Vera nearby, she could not see her cousin. She felt another vague point on her mental radar, but it blended so well with the auras of the plant life that Evangeline couldn't tell for sure if it was another person or another shrub. And then this--is she a siren? Evangeline noted with a little mental gasp. I must speak with her later. But first, "Where has everyone gotten to?"

Dekka had been oddly silent throughout most of the night, nodding or speaking when neccesary.

She was sitting leaned up against a tree, hoping to be able to get some sleep, although she doubted she would be able to. It wasn't the most comfortable position, but it was well enough for the time being. Hand curled around her whip in case of emergency, she began to doze off.

Hearing an unfamiliar voicee, her eyes snapped open. 'So much for sleep she thought. The girl who had just arrived didn't seem to be any sort of threat, so Dekka didn't pay much mind to her.

Not in the mood to sleep anymore, she looked around to find that almost everybody else was awake as well. After a battle like that they were probably all wide awake.

Glancing around, she noticed a guy pressed up against a tree. Nobody else seemed to notice him, so Dekka decided to take it upon herself to do something. She might as well see if he was a threat or not, it wasn't like she had anything better to do. "Here to join, or here to watch from behind a tree?" She asked with a smirk.

"Good. It seems she suspects nothing." Dante dropped to his knees, his body shaking violently from 'fear'. "Who are you people? Why are taking the innocent people around here?"
