"Then go and rest, I'm not stopping you anymore." She walked quietly to where he was standing. "Go and rest as you need to. I'm sure you'll be able to find me if you so choose." She reached towards him, but decided to pull away. She turned away, looking back once over her shoulder. She walked back to Deiyal.

Luciriah "Again? Where now? And...what are we running from? Is it him again?" Luciriah whispered back, staring at Kuroi. "I feel danger... I'm scared... I don't know who it is, but I feel they have come to cause us harm... and I don't know why..." Kuroi said as he began to break out into tears.

Deiyal shook his head gently. "I don't really need anything at this particular moment. Thank you for the offer though." He tilted his head briefly at Raven, then turned his gaze away to examine his surroundings. He did not recall being in a tavern before. What an interesting place. He tail wagged a little as he decided to wander just a few steps away, then he looked at Raven, wondering what she would do soon after.

She took Kuroi's hand and lead him and Quinn once more out the tavern and into the village ((To the mountain village? ))

"If you'd like to look around, I'd be more than happy to stay with you. It'll be a nice change to be with company." Raven smiled at Deiyal sweetly.

"I've never had friends," Deiyal responded, and he forced himself to smile. He found it hard to become comfortable with a new friend. "For a long, long time, I've been forced to live with humans who shunned me and my parents. Then I moved away close by and lived alone. I'm not quite a people person at the moment," he admitted, and he lowered his gaze. "But I could become accustomed to it, so there is no need for worry." His short tail began to wag even more, but when someone walked past behind him, it stopped for a few seconds.

"Deiyal, I am neither human nor do I mind what you are. I find you to be a wonderful friend, and if you need time to re-aquaint yourself with humanity, that's fine as well. It's up to you. I think I might return to the castle though. I'm getting kind of hungry, if you know what I mean. I'm sure I'll find something more suitable for my tastes in the kitchen at the castle." She smiled at Deiyal and began to walk back to the castle.

In truth, he was relieved to know that Raven accepted him. With a smile that widened even more, and a tail much more enthusiastic, he nodded and allowed Raven to be on her way. "Be well," he said in a farewell to her, and he turned around and began to wander around the tavern's darker corners. He ignored those whom ignored him, and continued to hover about the place before he decided he would leave. He went to the entrance, not quite departing yet.

Raven heard his farewell, but decided she was too far to him to hear her acknolegement. "I'll thank him when I see him again." she thought to herself. She made her way back to the castle.

With none interrupting him, Deiyal departed from the tavern. He would leave the castle for now. No one would follow him. He left the entire area for his home, far out beyond the outskirts of the castle, and with a flick of the tail, he had disappeared from the tavern's doorway. He would not come back so soon after that. However, with a mind to visit the castle again, Deiyal made sure that he would not forget about this tavern as he left.

Richard sauntered into the tavern and sat down near the bar. "Right." He thought, "hunting Vampires can start tomorrow, but for now I'm gonna get drunk."

"Whaddaya mean you don't have any Absynth?" He screamed at the barman. He was on his seventh beer and he wanted something stronger. "Thish tavernsh s**t!" He was starting to slur his words.
