Of course a single kunai wasn't much of a threat but Itsuki wasn't going to recklessly change the current situation. 'Kazekage as well...might have been during those years when I remained undergrounded...I didn't really involve myself with the world as much during those times...' Itsuki could feel the sweat accumulating on her hands as her grip tightened, with all that he said added on to Itsuki's already high amount of stress, it was just too much to take in. 'Underestimate him...even as a puppet he could be just as strong as he was before...I would be crazy to do so...'
Ignoring his obvious enjoyment of the situation, Itsuki remained silent as she took a moment to ponder his offer. It was a great offer but Itsuki had her doubts, for him to suddenly appear...something had to be up... "Don't take me lightly Hajime-san, I know better than anybody not to underestimate my opponents...tell me...what's the catch to all this? You have faded from the world unexpectedly and now you suddenly resurface again...what is you intention..." Removing the kunai from it's place, Itsuki took several steps back to distance herself from him in case of a sudden attack. Blades pointed downward, Itsuki's body language showed she was done with the fight and open for negotiations but was still on guard. 'Will he continue to fight...?'

Another explosion of smoke surrounded him as Zane summoned yet another puppet...however this puppet was different. This puppet was actually his actual body...his true form. Injecting the chakra core in the right slot, Zane attached strings to his Blue Bomber puppet, and as the smoke cleared Zane now stood before the Hokage. "I might as well tell you the truth, Lord Hokage," he stated as he unsheathed his blade with his right hand, his left hand a single string that connect to his puppet. "I can not set foot back in Sunagakure or Kirigakure without receiving...shall we say an ill welcome. I figured that the two of could benefit from my predicament. You supply me with a new home, while I supply you with myself. My strength is yours...my knowledge is yours. So long as I can call Konoha my home, then I am yours," Zane finished as his puppet took an offensive stance. If the Hokage wished to continue, then he would be better suited to continue the fight.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | Hokage|| Support/Combo || Katon || Doton || Hiton ||Body tensing as he whirled around, revealing another scroll, Itsuki assumed for the worst but as the smoke cleared, Itsuki saw not a puppet but an actual body. 'So that's the infamous Hajime Zane,' Eyeing the puppet that now hung lifelessly on strings, Itsuki found it truely a wonder that that thing was alive before her moments before. 'To trandsend life and become a living puppet...' Shifting into her basic stance as Zane unshealthed his blade, Itsuki took note of his words and the dangers that came with it. 'Both Suna and Kiri eh? He really knows how to pick them...'
Feet grinding the floor, Itsuki began fingering her kunai again in an outward expression of her undecisiveness. Most people bite their lips, pick their fingers or whatever other common thing. Itsuki turns to weapons. "Sunagakure and Kirigakure...both former homes of yours were they not? You definiately know how to pick them. My village is weak Hajime-san, I can not risk placing it in danger of unknown threats. Surely to harbour you would bring ill relations between Konoha and the two..." Itsuki could feel her throat going dry and as she thought about her decision, Itsuki wondered if she really made the right choice. 'If only you were here Sensei...'
Raising her sealed kunai, it would look as Itsuki was going to continue this fight but as she launched it, the target was not Zane but outside towards a cover of trees. "Cheri, call off the watch. These two visitors are of no threat to us." A small rustle could be heard as the pink haired Chuunin picked up her Hokage's kunai and headed off to relay her leader's wishes to the others. Releasing a sigh, Itsuki reshealthed her rapier. "Hajime Zane, as much as it goes against my morals, my village needs a strong protector. Just having me is not enough. My forces are thinning...as such I request to plege your loyalty to Konoha and to me here and now. If we are to go into war over this may you be prepared to fight for my village and it's citizens' safety." Itsuki made sure to leave nothing out. This was a tricky enough situation as it is, she can't allow anymore miscalculations.
"You will be granted the rank of Sannin. Though the rank of Sannin allows for free outward travel, I will be unable to grant to that freedom as I want to minimize the risk of others knowing. You are free to roam around the village and will be granted outside of the village during missions that might require you to do so. I suggest another puppet during your stay but as I have limited you enough, I feel its only proper to allow you to roam around in your real body if that suits you better. Only a few in our ranks would know who you are just by seeing you. Please help to provide strength and knowledge to my village. That is all that I ask in return for your stay." Gaze locking onto Zane's, Itsuki stared at him with an unwavering determination and it was obvious Itsuki cared deeply for the well being of her village.

Bending down on one knee, the great Zane Hajime actually bowed before the Hokage of Konoha. "Lady Hokage, as I've said, so long as I am allowed to call Konoha my home, I swear to you that no harm shall befall it. I will defend the village, its villagers, and you with whatever life I have. Believe me when I say that even in training the shinobis, I will stick to the shadows. A puppet master never has a need to reveal himself, only in dire circumstances. This was a dire circumstance, to reveal myself and speak to you honestly, otherwise you would have never granted my stay," Zane stated as he looked up and saw into her eyes. She cared deeply for her village, of that he was sure. He cared too, for the wellness of Kiri and of Sunagakure. However, both villages were in better hands than he could ever have. The truth is, Zane was never cut out to be a leader, a kage of an entire village. The responsibility was too much, and his free spirit could never be contained to the confines of a chair behind a desk, doing nothing but paperwork.

As he bowed, Itsuki remained passive as she took in his oath. Nodding her head in response, Itsuki spoke in a voice fit for a leader of her position. "Rise Hajime Zane. From this day forth, you a shinobi or Konohagakure. Welcome brother, may the Will of Fire burn brightly within you as it does for of us. As the Sandaime Hokage of Konoha, I, Tsubame Itsuki, hearby, appoint you Sannin."
Pausing a bit for dramatic effect, Itsuki finally had enough of fomalities and released a tired sigh before making her way back over to her sleeping summoning. "Now then, shall we head back out to the deck to finalize some arrangements? I'm rather worn from the fight. Your skills as a puppet master are truly one to be feared." Gently picking up Chiki, Itsuki took a seat on the cushion she occupied earlier. Once more laying Chiki on her lap, Itsuki motioned to the cushion across the table for Zane to seat.

══════════════════════════════════════════After she left the training grounds, it didn't take her too long before she got near the dojo. A yawn showed that she would need to get some rest soon. She didn't get to sleep last night so her body was starting to react.
Walking into the dojo, Lucy noticed two shinobi she knew there. 'So Zane is back to his body.' she thought as she saw how Zane was looking like at the moment. He was close to the Hokage, who was sitting on a cushion in the dojo, with...something that she didn't recognize on her lap, possibly a summoned creature. "Hello." Lucy said to them after walking towards them. If Zane had showed his real body then she knew who he was already, a good thing for Zane...and for Lucy too, that her friend managed to get what he wanted.══════════════════════════════════════════Ͼhakra Ҏoints - ?/?

"So, tell me, what is our position with the other nations? Also, what is our situation on the homebound?"

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | Hokage|| Support/Combo || Katon || Doton || Hiton ||Smiling warmly as Zane took a seat across from her, Itsuki wasn't able to get another word in before she sensed the presense of another enter the dojo. Head turning at the same time as Zane, Itsuki noticed the lady from before and as she approached, Itsuki gave her a nod in greeting before offering the seat between her and Zane. As Zane posed his question, Itsuki's gaze returned to her new Sannin and glancing tenitively between Zane and 'Lucy', decided that if Zane was to be a part of her village now, she will have to learn to trust him and the people he chooses to associate himself with. "Normally such matters will not be discussed in the presense of others but this being a person you trust, and you being my Sannin, I should abide by your decisions. Surely you know who can or should not be associated with. No offense miss, it's just caution."
Taking a moment to formulate her words, Itsuki realized she really didn't have much to think about as Konoha's current standings were rather obvious, even to herself. "Nation wise, we are currently on neutral terms with most of the countires. I've recently spoke with a diplomat from Oto and we have came to an agreement to form a neutral treaty on their turff. The offer will be extended to the other countires as well but it will at least provide our shinobi with a safe place to stay when attacked. Our relations with Mist might be slightly better then the rest thanks to a recent assistance mission but even that is sketchy. Overall, Konoha will need to build some more alliances if we hope to remain as protected as possible. Mist would be my first choice at the moment. Second will be either Suna or Iwa but seeing as Suna and Kiri might not be the best choice at the moment, we aim to have an alliance with Iwa. Unless you feel that we can chance Kiri and Suna," Pausing a moment for breath, Itsuki wondered what Zane thought of her poposal. 'With an alliance with Kiri and Suna, it'll be risky to keep having Hajime-san as a sannin a secret from them. Risk them calling us on holding out on them, which in turn can lead to a nasty fight and bad relations.'
"Villagewise, it's not looking that well either. Konoha has weaken during the disappearance of Matsuya and now I'm facing difficulties just trying to gather the pieces. Our forces are thinning but on the bright side, we have a lot of new Genin running around. Problem is, it'll take awhile before we can get them up to the ranks neccessary to completely protect Konoha. Lastly, I think something is going on within the shadows. Last night, civilians were killed in the cover of night and that in itself is distrubing. I fear a rebellion or something of that sort. I already doubled security but even then, we can only see and protect so much." Releasing a sigh, Itsuki turned to glance out at the forest. "And now you know the valunable state my village is in. Please Hajime-san, help me train the aspiring shinobi so that they may be strong enough to face whatever dangers may come. Also, try to figure out the root of all suspicious activities. As Kage, my movements are limited as I'm watched almost everywhere." Turning to face Zane again, Itsuki's left eye blazed with determination. She was gonna set her village straight and nothing was gonna stop her until her village was returned to it's former glory.

Things have been rather hectic here...damn you Matsuya. This was supposed to be your village to protect. Thankfully Tsubame seems like a competent Kage, but still, its not easy trying to pick up where the previous leader had left off, especially if that leader left suddenly or was assassinated, Zane knew too well of that. "Becoming neutral with the countries is a good idea...and if need be I can watch things here while you are gone, since I can not go myself. However if you have a trusting jounin...maybe you can assign him a couple of genins as a mission to maintain a neutrality with the nations. However, I do suggest one thing..." he began as glanced over at his friend and then back at Itsuki. The glance was to say that if she wishes to reveal her identity now, do it...otherwise Zane would take it as she doesn't want to. "The Tsuchikage is quite a powerful shinobi, and the nation of Iwagakure is just as strong. Having them on our side as allies would actually be the more benificial course for us. I've met the Tsuchikage before...I'm sure if I send word I can set up a meeting between the two of you on neutral grounds," he told her.
"As for our villagewise problem...if civilians are getting killed then it has to be a home threat. The gates are monitored too diligently from what I see to be someone outside coming in, which means it has to be someone on the inside causing all these problems. If you tell me where the scene of the crime is, I'll look into it. Maybe I'll see something that your guards missed," he told her. This piece of information bothered him indeed. "And lastly, your shinobis...I have attained many scrolls during my travels, as well as seen many different methods of fighting, fought against many clans and blood limits. I'm sure I can help your shinobis become stronger, so feel free to assign me to my own squad how you see fit."

══════════════════════════════════════════Lucy accepted the offered seat and sat with them as they talked. She listened while the Hokage spoke, concerned about Lucy's presence. "I don't take that as an offense, you are just a worried Kage." she replied to Itsuki. As she continued to speak, Lucy continued to listen. She couldn't help but be curious about how Konoha was dealing with the other countries and villages. 'Treaty with Oto...I should pay it a visit at a later date...' she thought. At that moment, as the other villages were mentioned, it caught her attention that Konoha aimed to have an alliance stabilished first with Kiri. Lucy knew about Zane's situation with both Kiri and Suna so she wondered how it would be decided by the Hokage and her new Sannin. She didn't say a word since it was not her problem nor had she any right to say anything about that matter. Zane's glance told Lucy it was an opportunity that she had been waiting for, if that was so, she wouldn't miss it, but just wait until he was done speaking. 'I guess every village has its own problems...I guess I'll give a hand...' she thought and put her hand on her mask while Zane began to speak about the murder problem. Her hair began to change from black to a completely white color, as she dispelled the transformation technique. "Maybe I can help with the meeting between the Hokage and the Tsuchikage." she said with a smile on her face while removing her mask. She did it at that moment because it seemed that the activity within the dojo had lowered, and she was bothered by Konoha's problems. Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | Hokage|| Support/Combo || Katon || Doton || Hiton ||Simply nodding in response to Zane's first comment regarding remaining neutral, Itsuki also saw him momentarily shift his gaze to his 'friend' but didn't think too much of it. 'Maybe they both met the Tsukikage before and now of her power?' As Zane moved on to analysing last night's incident, Itsuki could only sigh, "That's what I feared but it can be nothing else. It happened last night by the Ichiraku Ramen Stand. I won't lie though, it seemed well planned out. And thank you. I leave the care of Konoha's future generation in your care."
As the lady to her left began to speak, Itsuki turned her gaze to her and was surprised to see her hair now a different colour. 'Henge? And how can she help me...' When the mask was taken off and the face of the present Tsuchikage made herself known, Itsuki could only attempt to hold back her surprise. Registering her question, Itsuki simple nodded and she nudged Chiki awake. Blinking tiredly, Chiki hopped onto the floor awake and stared curiously at the new people surrounding his master. "Kwek?" Smiling, Itsuki reached into her obi and took our a small string necklace tied to a bottle. Focusing heat to her index finger, Itsuki etched some code symbols onto a small roll of parchment before rolling it up and tucking it into the bottle. Placing the necklace around Chiki's neck, Itsuki spoke softly to it as she relayed her order. "Give that to Cheri alright sweetie? She'll be at the gate." Flapping it's wings excitedly, Chiki bobbed it's head several times before taking off towards the gate. It's speed was surprisingly fast for such a small bird.
Turning back to her guest, Itsuki gave them both a polite smile before bowing respectfully to them. "It's an honor be in the presense of two reknown shinobi. Forgive me for the cautiousness at the gates but as you heard, with the internal conflict going on, nothing can be risked. Your sword will also be arriving shortly Tsuchikage-sama." Sitting back up, Itsuki waiting for either of them to start speaking first.

Free trade, free travel between the nations, and of course an ally should a war breaks out," Zane added, appealing to both Kages simultaneously. Not only that, but maybe, just maybe Zane would be able to host a chuunin exam between Iwa and Konoha as well.

I've had some problems within my village too." she said, keeping the smile on her face. It was true that there were problems in Iwa before, but Iwa managed to overcome them and grow stronger. While she waited for someone to bring her sword, Kiyoko listened to Zane's words. "Indeed it would bring benefits to both villages." she commented on what he said. "And I would be able to spend more time here and get to know you better." she said selfishly with a happy voice to the Hokage. "And don't need to call me by Tsuchikage-sama, just call me Kiyoko, we are both Kages." she finished.

It would seem almost ever village was visited by some form of trouble lately. Facing Zane as he spoke about a potentcial alliance between Konoha and Iwa, Itsuki could see the benefit in it and it would truely help the currently situation in Konoha. Once more Itsuki simply nodded her head in agreement to Kiyoko's comment and at her next set of words, Itsuki flashed her a pleasent smile and spoke in her usual calm demenor. "And it will be an honor to have you here with us." When asked to be addressed by her name and not by her title, Itsuki felt more relaxed and her smile became more sincere. "That'll be wonderful Kiyoko. Please, both you and Hajime-san should address me as Itsuki. I prefer to stick to less formal greetings if I can." Glancing around the area, it would appear as if Chiki was running late, the poor thing probably got attracted by some random sweets stand again but hopefully he'll still make it over to the gates alright. "In terms of your lodgings, you two are free to stay at the Hokage Tower if you would find that to be more comfortable and Kiyoko, my village is free to roam, I would just suggest avoiding the Ichiraku ramen area for now as traces of last night's incident are still lingering about.
