He is a tall, thin man but still well-built for his somewhat narrow stature. He is usually quiet and withdrawn around most people, although he is always kind and courteous to his customers, leading most to believe he is shy, or stoic rather than sad or unnerving. Eneyo lives a simple, content life with his daughter as a blacksmith and a hunter, and seems to have very little regard for most technology except for things like refrigeration and lighting (which is usually achieved with the flame of his forge or the roar of his fireplace at home).
'Mystical' Eneyo has lived in Rose Valley for his entire life, and the Ilris clan is said to have inhabited this land for generations. The Ilris are well-known for their quality smithing and are most famous for their runesmithing, imbuing weapons and tools with magical runes to make them much more durable, effective and lighter. This special technique has been handed down for many years, and is rumored to have been given to his ancestors by the Harvest King himself. Whether or not this is true is a mystery in this modern day, but what is an undeniable truth, is the quality steel that can only come from an Ilris.
'One With Self' While Eneyo is an expert smith, a skilled archer and well-versed in wilderness survival; most people wouldn't know it from meeting with him. While quiet, it is always from a zen-like peace he seems to exude wherever he goes, and his calm seems to become extremely contagious when tension arises.
Hidden TalentsUsing the runes his father had passed on to him, he continues the Ilris legacy by forging only the finest steel with ancient arcane floes. He lives very naturally, sustaining himself from the land. A plot has been set aside as a garden for him to grow crops near his home, and he hunts for wild game in the forest and mountains, and has become a master marksman from years of training and experience. His daily ritual is to collect fresh water from the Lake of the Goddess, and pray upon her holy waters before using it in his masterwork metallurgy.WeaknessesEneyo is a total work-aholic and can be an irritating perfectionist at times. The pressure on him to deliver the quality that's been expected of him as an Ilris still seems to weigh heavy on his shoulders even after many years. He's very dedicated and vehement in his livelihood, but it can tend to make him off-putting, espescially when he perceives even a minute mistake in his work. The Steel Dragon's apprentice is none other than his own daughter, Linara who is an adept at the runecrafting technique of the Ilris clan. Because of her Elven father, she embraces that heritage closely while she feels slightly awkward around humans. Eneyo has tried many times to teach her the balance and interdependence of their races, but like many children of these unions, a certain amount of identity crisis often occurs. Rather than burdening her fellow villagers with unwarranted bigotry from the struggles of her prejudice and confusion, Lunara hides away in the forest hoping to find guidance in the stars and spirits of the land.
She is normally only found in town very early in the morning, heading to her father's house to conduct her daily lessons and collect foodstuffs and rations for her foray back into the wilds. Lunara has become particularly interested in a strange runed obelisk in the dig site near Mount Halcyon. Instead of asking her father, she has decided that she was going to take up independent research to discover the meaning behind the inscriptions.Hidden TalentsHer father, Eneyo, has taught her the way of the bow, and she has perfected the art like any other elf; halfblood or not. Lunara hunts wild game in the forest to eat, and to save. She is a hobbyist leatherworker, and is still teaching herself (while making timid infiltrations into the library) on how to get better. Lunara is a wonderful singer and has a knack for string instruments, especially the harp and violin.WeaknessesVERY antisocial. Like, wow, people freak her the ******** out and she doesn't know why. A self-formulated hypothesis has concluded that she is burdening the curse from the unholy union between an elf and human. In reality, she's just a normal teenager going through a rather irratonal angsty phase. Luckily, she's got good enough sense to keep her bad attitude away from everyone else and try to focus her mind on something productive, such as discovering the mystery of the Halcyon Obelisk.
She has a bad habit of smoking her pipe when she starts feeling stressed out (which is fairly common).
