Sadako gave a sniff of distaste at the mention of the name 'Samara'.
"Sadako much better than cheap remake," she muttered to herself. "She would make horsies trample people, not drown themselves."
Surprisingly enough, she didn't attempt to bite Nari in retribution for the poke. Arms crossed, she looked coolly at the girl.
"Sadako wandered before she found Len. Found little doll on Tee-Vee, took it, came 'live again. Sadako used to be bigger," she said, easing into conversation with the girl. She wasn't so bad, for a flesh-wearer. "Nari is pretty," she added a bit grudingly.
"That's good... It's very pretty," she said with a laugh. The silver set well against her bright hair. She glanced quickly over at Catherine, looking concerned.
"You okay?"

"Nari liked to see Sada-san bigger again." She almost knowingly, a trait only ice maidens had. " Nari ly that alot. Nari ly Sada-san lots too. The other doll jus' sits and sits like lazy fat man. Nari lys you better." Her transfixed gazed soften to a smile, in her mind images of things that she didn't quite understood flowed like the river. Her abilities as a yukionna were getting stronger with each passing day.
Nari gasped, covering her cheeks at the comment of herself being pretty. It was always Aphrodite that was told that.
"Oh! Mama... are you ok?" The wasp child buzzed worriedly.
"I'm fine." She breathed a bit, may it was a bad idea to eat garlic icecream for lunch. "I'm just not feeling too well, I guess I might be comming down with something." Which was something she had been telling herself for the past 3 weeks.
"You should sit down mama..." The mishap wiggled in midair with worry.

Sadako chittered, a strangely mechanical and grating sound.
"Nari only one who'd like 'Dako big again. 'Dako hasn't been very nice to other people 'sides Len," she said pleasantly. Scuttling over to Nariko on all fours, she hefted herself up and scooted onto the girl's shoulder.
"Sadako likes Nari. Sadako won't kill- er. Sadako will be nice to Nari." The doll said, nodding.
Lenore watched Cathering worriedly.
"My mum's brother is a doctor," she said. "Iffen you're sick, he could try to help."

The snow maiden grined, standing up. "Nari won't do bad things to Sada-san."
Aphrodite took a deep breath thinking for a moment, Len's uncle was a doctor? "Mama won't don't you see him.. Ms. Elisabeth is on vacation.. and you can't treat yourself."
Catherine thought about it for a moment, leaning back against the tree. Staring up at the whirling sky, she sighed a** he shook her head. " Well... only if he's willing to see me. I'm not going to be a bother to anyone."
Nariko blinked. "Mama sick?" She looked flabberghasted.

Len nodded hard.
"He'll see you, he will, he will. He's back at the room - c'mon, we can go now. He's very nice. He'll take care of you." She said seriously. Turning to whistle for Sadako, she gasped and stared.
" 'DAKO! GET OFF HER-uh. What the..." She choked off midscreech into stunned silence. Sadako was actually being nice?
Creepy.
Sadako blew a raspberry, clinging to Nariko.
"Sadako not being mean," she said mildly. "Nari is like 'Dako. Pretty. Sadako nice to pretty."

Catherine laughed a little bit as she composed herself, following Lenore. "Alright, I'll see him...?" She blinked staring at the doll that sat upon Nariko's shoulder. Well, that's something new.
"Nari ly Sada-san! Sada-san better dan the nice people that live in Nari's head and in Aphrodite braaaaaaaaain... Braaaaaaaiiiiiins."
Aphrodite blinked, her small hand came to slap her own forehead.

Quite reasonably stunned to see Sadako not trying to kill the little girl, Lenore beckoned them all to follow her.
"Huh... 'kay, then..."

Pounding on the door to the room, Leno raised her voice high to catch Julian's attention.
"Juliaaaaan! Lemme iiiiiin!" She called. She really needed to get a spare key. Really.
The door's multiple locks took a few moments to undo, and the door creaked open.
"Len?" Julian asked looking at her in confusion. "What's the matter? You okay? You never come home early." Automatically suspecting the worst, he eyed the girls behind Len hesitantly.
"Can I help you?"

Aphrodite was perched on Lenore's head, she held a bemused expression as she watched all the locks unlock. "You need a spare key." She said as she heard all the clicking.
"I'm not feeling too well, Lenore said I should see you."

Julian opened the door to admit them all inside, a doctorly expression already on his face.

Catherine came in with Nariko in her arms, settling her down on the floor. She turned to the toddler. "No touching unless they say it's ok."
"Okies." She frowned looking at all the most interesting things that were in Len's room.
"Um, Hi." Catherine adjusted her composure. "I'm Catherine... Aphrodite's mom. " She nodded to Julian.

Motioning for Catherine to take a seat at the breakfast table, Julian pulled up a chair beside her and grabbed the nearest writing tools, which happened to be a memo pad and one of Crow's black eyeliner pencils. He grinned a bit sheepishly at the impromptu tools.
"Running a bit short of the official pen and clipboards," he said jokingly. "I'm Julian. Pleasure to meet you."
Settling at once into a neutral expression, he held the pencil poised over the paper.
"So. Tell me what the problem is. Any symptoms, that kind of thing."
Lenore watched the two adults for a second before turning away in sudden boredom. Glancing over at Nari and then trying to look up at where Aphrodite was perched on her, she pointed randomly to the TV.
"Wanna watch somethin'? This might take a while..."

"Sure." the wasp child flopped over, liking her Lenore perch.
Nari blinked up at the two older kids, shrugging. "NAri ly TV, rots your teef."
"No, Nari TV rots your brain.. or at least that's what the TV said."
"Hehe."
Catherine smiled, taking a seat in an empty chair. "No it's quite alright..umm for the past few weeks I've been feeling quesy and a bit dizzy.. like I haven't eaten enough.. but I have been." She sighed.

Julian nodded slightly and quickly scribbled down notes in a scrolling, obviously foreign alphabet. The letters looked more like a single coinjoined line, speckled with dots, curving dashes and occassional spirals.
"Have these symptoms ever occured before?" He asked, his tone doctor-polite and impassive.
Switching on the TV eagerly, Len ignored the cryptic static and hissing voice that whispered from the set before switching to a cartoon channel.
"Mum said she got th' TV cheap 'cause it talks and turns itself on an' stuff on its own," she said to Nari and Aphrodite. "The old owners were scared of it. I dunno why - just a TV."
"Says you, punk."
"Shush."

"Reminds Nari of grandma." The toddler giggled a bit, sitting infront of the hissing TV.
"You mean the one that doesn't exisit?" The wasp mishap grined as she stayed on Lenore's head.
"Yeah." Nariko blinked petting the side of the TV. "Maybe it needs some love and bisquits."
"I don't think love and bisquits are going to make the possessed TV happy."
" I know it makes me happy." The toddler grinned as she took off her shoes to inspect her toes.
"... No, I don't really remember." Catherine placed her hand on her forehead, closing her eyes tightly. A pang in her chest, a feeling a dread loomed over her. "I.. I think so.." She frowned, her eyes closed tightly.

"I want a bisquit."
"You don't even have a mouth!"
The television didn't bother to reply.
Shaking his head slightly at the exchange, Julian smiled despite himself. Catching it and quickly schooling his face back into his "doctor look", he scribbled a few more notes in the flowing script before looking up at Catherine again. The look the woman wore, as well as her tone, didn't sit right with him.
"Well," he said carefully, "it is spring. Could be allergies. And there are a lot of children around, so it might be something you picked up from one of them. Kids spread illness like wildfire."
"HEY!"
Julian smiled again.
"Sorry. Anyway... is there anything you think it might be?"
