"Uh huh!" Shammi agreed, waving. She clicked her claws at Björn, blinking before smiling. "Be-yawn?"
Erishi giggled slightly, eying him. "Don't like the nickname?" She teased. "Good job... Ike! Shammi, too."

Björn forced a smile.
"Close enough," and he then turned to Erishi, "Gee, I wonder what I could possibly have against the nickname!"
Ike snickered.

Erishi snickered as well, hiding her grin behind her hand. Controlling herself, she reached down to scoop Shammi up. "You and the big bear," She tossed her head towards Björn, "should come over some time. I'll make pancakes. And then Shammi wouldn't miss you so much, Ike."
"Uh huh!" Shammi agreed again, beaming.

After one very long trip with his adoptive father, it was nice to be back home. And on his own no less!! His father was starting to get very busy with not only the adoption home, but his new three little siblings, so Cato found himself alone more and more. He liked it this way. Just him, Blank, and his two spider plushies! Oh... And Lemon... Catherine had insisted that he bring the little cell phone along... Oh well... It could be worse...
With a smile on his lips he strode into the garden, looking around curiously. He had been there before, but it was so different to go alone! And so the soon scampered up a tree, looking out at what he could see.

Waddling precarilously after the spider mishap, was Lemon, the almost forgotten cellphone. "Caaaa-tooe! Cah-toe!" He failed and wobbled. "Come back! "
Now lost, the little cellphone was unsure of his surroundings. He looked about, trying to spot the spider-mishap... but failed, since he was only a foot tall and couldn't fly.

Cato smirked as he looked down at the little yellow cellphone at the foot of the tree, amused at how lost he looked. If only it was this easy to ditch his chaperons on a regular basis. Two sets of double eyes pulled away from the little paniced machine to look out at the garden again. Hm... "Hey Blank..." He whispered to his little familiar. Let's see how well he plays hide and seek..." There was something almost sinister in the way he said that, looking over at his tiny friend.
The tiny familiar swished his whip-like wings and settled down on the spider's shoulder, listening to the whispers. Ooo... This could be fun... "Yeah. Let's see if he can keep up!"
With a nod, the many armed child spat some webbing into his hand and stuck it onto the branch he was sitting on. Snipping the web with his teeth at the length he needed, he jumped with no further warning, web in hand. The webbing stretched out like a bungee to it's limit, letting go to lightly land on his feet as he watched the webbing snap right back up and splat into a clump on the branch. "Catch me if you can, Lemon!" he cried, and he was off running!

"Cato! Come back!" The cellphone waddled after the mishap, flailing after him. "Your mother is going to be so upset with me! Oh no! " He waddled and waddled after Cato, quickly loosing sight of him after a few minutes.

The spiderling laughed at the whining he heard behind him, ducking this way and that. Soon however he stopped, blinking his many eyes. He turned around only to find that they were alone. "That... Wasn't much fun..." He murmured, still a little surprised that the game was already over.
"Um... Yeah... That kinda sucked..." Agreed the little familiar sitting upon his shoulder. "So... Um..." The patchworked familiar murmured, his long whip-like wings drooping slightly.
"Good question..." The spider sighed heavily, his own long, elf-like ears drooping a little. He had to admit he was lonely. Other then Blank and the two spider plushies he held in his arms, he had no friends... Emerald eyes drifted down to the purple and black spiders, frowning slightly. Coria... Shody... Do you guys have any ideas...?" He asked, sighing softly after a moment. "I didn't think so..." He looked around once again, to see where he was. He made his way to the nearest tree that looked like it might support him and easily climbed to the lowest and thickest branch. Here he sat, with his back against the trunk and his many jointed legs hanging down.
Cato shivered a little from the cold, pulling his legs right back up and hugging his knees to his chest, plushies in his lap so he could use all four of his main arms, the arms at his back, tucking in for warmth. Too many emerald eyes drew upwards as he looked at the sky, a frown pulling at his brow before his many eyes closed. His lips parted and he did something few other then his father knew he could do. He sang. He sang in the sweetest Elven, his words so thick with emotion it tempted even those who didn't understand the words to sob in sorrow with him.
"Si thosi air or, shi jhyr os basti Sher si kyr os os thol sai iar vaestal Vali ail si pas Caesi shar baelaes ei kyr Sher shi moli shor ei shaedol caes
Porylysaer jhaelaer eisi thalol pyrn Si paedia maer eisi marn Si tae air boli shaelaer os thaer Cydi eil jhyli air eir shi baer
Si pae air pyli Eir myl air mel Si cys os jhaer car ber shaendrel Shia myr si shys shi olaesori Ail tylol eir os saes eil mol
Si pae air pyli Eir myl air mel Si cys os jhaer car ber shaendrel Shia myr si shys shi olaesori Ail tylol eir os saes eil mol
Eir si jhaelaer cali thalael pyrn Byrn, si paedia maer eisi kyrn Vali ail si pas Caesi shar baelaes ei kyr Sher shi moli shor ei shaedol caes

Si pae air pyli Eir myl air mel Si cys os jhaer car ber shaendrel Shia myr si shys shi olaesori Ail tylol eir os saes eil mol..."
As he sang, tears started to well up in his many eyes, slowly soaking trails down his furry gray cheeks. He didn't know why he knew the song, know how he had learned Elven to begin with, but... It helped him get it all off his chest to sing into the cold wind for anyone to hear.
*[For anyone who knows Elven in character, feel free to contact me for a translation to his song!]*
