 Avery grins at Athero as she stops and looks over at him. She leans over and gives him a soft, feather-light kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, but I bet you'll soon regret that promise. Trouble seems to find me whereever I go," She jokes with him.

he walked them up to a waterfall and had a picnic already layed out like he planned this "i figured you might be hungry..."

Avery blushes and watches him embarrassedly, "I'm glad someone does." She jokes playfully.

Avery laughs softly at his face, his cheeks being full of sandwich before shrugging. "A while really. The wedding kept me busy and before that my father enjoyed entertaining people so I had to always be sociable with the aristocratic pricks." She flushes and covers her mouth embarrassedly, "Sorry. Please excuse my rudeness."

Avery smiled and nodded. "Very well." She tilts her head curiously, "What made you want to come back and get a slave?" She questions Athero curiously.

"i have seen many things in my long life time" he said finishing one sandwhich and grabbing another "i was tired of being alone and i wanted to help those in need aka the slaves need help, i know yall didnt want to be there and i know what the guards did to yall and im sorry...." he said looking at her his eyes now a old greyish color as he thought of his past "i want to do my part to end suffering.....the bad part is...when that day comes, the world will no longer be here it will burn in eternal fire and it will cease to be anything but the charred remains of fools like me" his eyes were growing emotionless now until he snapped back and his eyes shot back to a cardinal red color

Avery tilted her head before reaching forward and touching his shoulder, "Thank you, for being so kind as to help us. And I apologize, for what you have and for what you will go through Athero. A day will come when your suffering will too cease." She lifts her hand to cup his cheek in a gentle carress.
