The "Git' sound baffled Luka, as no one ever told him to go away before, so the angry sound made him pause; his head tilting almost all the way around to ponder this curiosity. If it hadn't been for Desades grabbing him and yanking him away, he wouldn't have moved at all and just staaaarrrred. A confused yip? left his mouth as they were now hiding under Tomoko's tails and he glanced around curiously before pawing playfully at one. They looked so soft and fluffy!!
"That's a very good point. I've met a lot of interesting people here and made acquaintances. I'm sure you'll make many a friend here. For the most part, everyone's pretty friendly. I can even introduce you to a couple some time if you'd like. Like my fellow Avarices over there." With a smirk, he pointed in West, Carry and Barth's direction. "Pride, Wrath and Sloth, to name some. They're good people." The hint of bittersweetness he detected made him feel sorry for her. It was obvious she liked her family and missed them. For a second, he wondered what that had to feel like.
"Thank you. Yes, I saw your name on the seating arrangement... so I kind of cheated, I'm sorry." Since she had bowed to him, he had to properly greet her; by taking her hand lightly in his and brushing a kiss above the knuckles. There was no true contact but how his family greeted the opposite gender. Hopefully she wouldn't think him too forward. "You know... to be honest, I'm not quite sure what it means. My father uses it often in greeting to people and they accept it as some sort of normal thing to say. It certainly sounds somewhat classy, yeah? But I suppose what it might mean is that by birth, my job in this world is to be an envy demon.. perhaps...?" Looking confused, he scratched his head a bit. It was something to think about really...

Looking between Rhys and Ren Alessa smiled just a little and said, "Maybe lepuses just have a natural stubborn gene. Or maybe it's just a rabbity thing." After all, she was stubborn as Jack and she knew it, even if she didn't give it ample attention when she needed to.
She froze when he reached out a hand to pet Sheelah, almost as if he were trying to pet her. "I...don't think you should do that," she said quietly, though she didn't know why, it wasn't as if Sheelah couldn't hear her. The first mate lepus was currently eying Ren with a very chilled distaste. "She'll probably try to bite you, or worse..." Yes, there was worse. Alessa had been glade to remove all pointy objects from Sheelah before bringing her here.

Tomoko was familiar enough with the fact her own greeting was unusual to not be thrown when she got other strange introductions, such as the not-quite-kiss on the back of her hand. In fact, she'd just assume it normal enough.
"So it is your......craft...." Tomoko determined, seeming to store that particular odd terminology away somewhere. She'd likely forget it before she needed it again though and end up asking again. "I am unfortunately 'just' a Kitsune. No fancy alteration to go with it to say I am more special than any other kitsune."
She demoness sighed again, her nervous fidgetting returning as she ran one palm over the surface of the multi-colored orb she toted, cradling it in the crook of one arm anxiously.
"Though it seems sad to be 'only' a kitsune or 'only' an envy demon. It's very....small...in..." she again paused to seek out a word. "Comprehension....? No...Ah! It is 'Limited'." she ultimately decided, puffing her chest up proudly for her finding her 'perfect' word for the situation.
Desades burrowed in between the tails, nose poking out amongst some of the fluff that was trying to EAT THEM BOTH (not literally), and chippering away happily as he slooooowly reached out with one paw to try and grab at the tail of the FoxSquirrel playmate.
Ohhh boy! Play play play play!!

Marushii (( Merope's minipet treats him like an underling. Get 50-55 to pass. )) FAIL"It was mine," Merope replied to Cyrilla, rapping his knuckles on the rack. "The plants were Aymet's though. It's something, right? Besides, we have company!" He cheerfully waved to the ghouls that joined them before facing the fire, squinting at it and waiting for more to arrive. As the class began to fill up, there was one person whose appearance made Merope start to sink behind the shoe rack in an attempt to hide: Rain. He still felt guilty over leaving the Krumm car behind like he did. Could he have left on a better note? Maybe. He shouldn't have lashed out like that or been so cranky about walking. Looking around, he could see others who were on the Krumm car. Their names escaped him. Either way, though, Merope began growing his own mushroom patch behind the shoe rack, oblivious to when Tomoko temporarily joined them. He missed out on the professor's grand entrance, perking up and peeking over the shoe rack as he began his lecture. There was still a dark blush about his features, prompting him to sink more until only his eyes peered over the edge. He jumped as Cyrilla's fafnir jumped onto his shoulder, staring. "Oh! Hey Star buddy, whatcha up to?" ...Wait. Weren't they doing something with minis right now? Prodded into action, Merope carefully picked up his minipet off the top of the shoerack and held it up. "I'm Merope, and this right here is Seacrest. She's a white follyjox in case there's some plants in the way," he mumbled from his position. The follyjox was set back down on top of the shoe rack. "Seacrest! Sit girl!" The white follyjox stared at the boil, then crawled onto his head and began gnawing on the mushroom growing there.

"Yeah, I suppose." the dracolich returned to the leviathan. She then peered around the boil to see the other ghouls sitting down the way. Cyrilla offered a polite wave before looking back to Merope.
Meanwhile, Star was getting pretty comfortable on the LFL's shoulder. Letting out a rather large, and loud yawn, the fafnir laid it's head down , getting situated for what appeared to be a nap. Cyrilla's gaze dropped from Merope's face to where the fafnir lay, and she stared at it. The fafnir all but ignored her, wriggling a bit and closing it's eyes.
"Star..." she began carefully, "this is not naptime bud. C'mon, we're in a class. You can nap when we get home." she pleaded, but to no avail. Sighing Cyrilla stood back and watched Merope introduce Seacrest. A bit of a surprise, considering what Seacrest usually seemed like.. then again, maybe that was all the more reason.
When seacrest ignored the boil, and began to munch on it's afternoon snack, the ghoul chuckled, reaching over and plucking the fafnir from her friend's shoulder. Star let out an aggravated whine, not liking that he'd just been callously ripped away from his comfy leviathan bed. He glared at Cyrilla, letting loose another whine before wriggling out of her hands, and flopping over on the floor, looking like a listless corpse.
"... Least he seems to know how to play dead." Cyrilla groaned. This was going to be a long class.

"I don't think anyone is 'just' an anything." A thoughtful look crossed his face as he rested his cheek onto his hand and studied her for a moment. "I think anyone, despite class, can be something they really wanna be... if they try hard enough and have that desire burning strong enough to do so. I doubt it'll be easy or something simply handed over, but I know it can be done. But I think it can be my craft, yes. To be an Envy demon unlike the others and be true to myself. It's all I have the ability to do right now. Hence why I'm here... to learn how to get better and reach my goal. Isn't that why we're all here?"
But he nodded when she said it was a limited kind of thing, agreeing with her completely. "Very true. Very true indeed." She was cute in how she puffed out her chest like that. She had every reason to be proud of herself. "So why are you here? What's your goal for coming to the Academy? Past training your pets to behave?" He was being slightly teasing cause it was fun.
Luka was trying to answer Desades as best he could, yipping lowly so not to alert too many people of their hiding spot but it wasn't hard to get a hold of his flailing tail. It was certainly fluffy enough and it was moving around a lot. Playtime was fun!! X3

A disturbingly serious look came over the Kitsune when her own intentions for being at school were questioned, her ears drooping as though she was disappointed with the truth of the matter. However, she sighed deeply and answered anyways, no matter how ashamed of the answer she was;
"Because my parents think I'm not developing enough under their guidance. I have two younger siblings, see, and they...are much..more........capable....."
Oh the slight jealousy that could be detected from her that that brief moment as she frowned. It was probably bland, given sibling-jealousy was just...common, but none the less, it was TWO younger siblings she was paling in comparison to.
None the less, she soon brushed the topic right over.
"So all I have to do if make sure to learn as much as I can while I'm here that my parent's couldn't teach me."
THERE. CRISIS AVERTED.
Tail! Oh Desades had a tail! Wheee!! The Pirate kitsune's own tail twitched in excitement at his success before he sloooowly ducked back under the tails to crawl forward underneath them, chittering away.
Was he planning on them going on a mission?
Yes he was.
Or maybe he was just liking it there. WHichever.

The hint of jealousy was hard for the demon to miss, but his face remained the same as he took in what she had to say. He felt bad for the small girl, who seemed so upset over why she had to come to school. "Least we're here for a similar reason. My parents say I'm not doing what I'm supposed to do either. I'm a bit too... friendly?" A slight shrug was given as he snickered in amusement. It had only been one of many reasons why they had hoisted him off to school and all of them were silly, if he was asked. But who could control what other people thought or how they felt, really? "That shouldn't be hard, I don't think. There are so many things to learn here. i bet you'll learn more than even your siblings here." It was all up to confidence, in a way.
Gotta believe one can do something before it's done and all that.
Luka's ears lowered as he tried to figure out what was happening but it seemed important so he looked over at his new playmate; the foxsquirrel waiting for the sign needed to go on the mission.
Whatever the mission was of course.

Finally, Malodore managed to pull Parassiti free of the carpet... well, no. That wasn't quite accurate. It was more likely that Parassiti released her hold at precisely the right time to send the plague doctor stumbling backwards, where it tripped over its own seat and fell over.
"Snh. Snh. Snh," the rat tittered as it squirmed out of Malodore's grip, heading directly for West and the invisible dog harness!

Vlad was more than delighted when he felt West's pat, tail wagging and going thump thump thump against the ground; anyone who pats him is awesome in his eyes... Of course, Malcolm gives the best pats ever, but he never seems to pat him much during classes. That's where all the students come in. To show his pleasure, Vlad stood up and gave the Wrath Demon's leg a nudge; he would lick the student's face, but... He couldn't help but notice something coming towards them.
A runaway Minipet.
He stopped fussing over West, and moved to the front of the boil's seat. A low growl rumbling in his throat as it barked, baring its invisible (but sharp) teeth; should he kill that rat? While it wouldn't even make a good snack (it smelled like it was contaminated), if it was dangerous, it ought to go! However, it belonged to someone, so he would most definitely not get pats for that... But it attacked its own owner! And it looked like it was going to attack West!
Malcolm heard the chair fell and immediately moved from his position to check out the situation; seeing Malodore on the floor and his/her/its Scrags running away from him/her/it, the professor was quick to figure out what had happened. He sighed before walking over to Malodore, a slight frown on his lips, "If it refuses to be tamed, always put it on a leash until it knows that running away is not an option. You are its master, not the other way round."
He wanted to extend out a hand to help his student up, but there were more pressing matters at hand.
"Vlad, do not kill," He muttered before running after the Scargs, grabbing at it with his hand. Wrapping his fingers around the creature, and ignoring any harm it was doing to his hand (those bites don't even sting) he brought it up to his eye level, narrowing his eyes at it. Golden eyes begun to glow slightly blue, as he gripped onto Parassiti, but was careful not to hurt it, "I could replace you with a well-behaved Scargs for your owner - one that would help him in his endeavors, no doubt. However, on account that he seem to wish for you alone to be his, I will not make you my totem's plaything... Malodore is your protection in this room - run from him and I will hunt you down like the rat you are, for I take that you had rejected your master and is wild."
He then paused as he moved back to where Malodore was before he added, "And I'm a man of my word." Putting the rat on the (now upright) chair, he wasted no time in clipping on a small collar before attaching a leash to it; it was a leash that could be chewed through... A sort of test for the creature - at least if it learned the meaning of obedience through fear in this room, it might learn how to control itself outside of the room. He then handed the leash to the plague doctor, speaking loud enough for the Minipet to hear, "This leash can be chewed through - I don't usually bring any other type to class. If you need a leash that Parassiti would be unable to chew through, come see me after class..."
As he moved away, anyone who listened closely would have heard a hollow, mocking purr coming from where Malcolm was standing. This was quickly followed by a soft whine from Vlad's direction as the invisible dog nervously retreated to behind West's chair... But there was nothing there beside the professor...
Right?

"Molto grazie," Malodore said, taking the leash gingerly from the teacher; it bowed its head in a combination of gratitude and contrition. "My apologies for her ill-behavior... Parassiti, si orribile bestia poco!" It snapped the leash once as it would for Luce.
Normally, the rat would have snapped the leash much more literally, with her jaws, but... the glow-eyed two-legs had gotten through to her. At least for now. Sullenly, Parassiti let Malodore haul her back to its seat without dragging her feet, though the venomous looks it shot in the plague doctor's direction assured that vengeance would, eventually, be hers.
Malodore pondered getting a stronger leash.

The minipet Ithilethiel had decided to bring with her today was a very disobedient one. She hadn't had him very long, but he had already given her trouble, namely trying to bite off her fingers. Around her stool stalked a small Hellhunter pup. "His name is Dorbax, the Hellhunter," she spoke softly. Turning her gaze upon the small creature at her feet. Ithi didn't want to admit that the little beast had the nerve to treat her as an underling. How she had let him get away with it in the first place was beyond her. "Dorbax, sit."

Quote: [3 - Treats you as an underling] YOU WILL FAIL Get 50-55 to pass ((FAIL))The hellhunter looked up at Ithi, as she spoke her command. He definitely heard her. He tilted his head and started to move like he was going to sit. Then suddenly he leaped up to snap at her fingers. Ithi pulled her hand out of the way just in time. It was clearly obviously that he had understood her command, and intentionally disobeyed. Ithi sighed as she scowled at the creature.
