Damien smiled, he saw her go to bed, he walked over to the door and turned off her light.

Stella snuggled in the blankets.They were so warm,especially compared to the cold cement of the cage.Her refreshing sleep was shortlived.Everything turned to darkness, a nightmare overcoming her mind.It was about her past.The dream felt so real as if she could actually feel the whip smacking her skin again.She awoke in a jerking motion, breathing heavily.
((or a nightmare...but that could work later or soon or sometime. c: ))

Damien heard her wake up, he went over to her, "Are you okay?" he asked concerned, sitting on the edge of her bed.

Stella put one hand on her arm and sighed in relief, not feeling any whip marks.Tears rolled down her face as the nightmare flashed before her eyes again.She couldn't find the words to say, she was too frightened by the images she had seen.

Damien saw the tears on her cheeks, he gently moved closer and gently hugged her, "Its going to be okay Stella..." He said softly, hoping to calm her down, he guessed that she had a horrible nightmare, "I wont let anything happen to you... I promise." He said softly.

Stella hugged him close to her sniffling.He'd never let anything happen to her, and he promised.She felt so safe just sitting there."Thank..you..Damien."she said softly,biting her lip.

Damien smiled and held her close, "It will be okay." He said softly, gently rubbing her back to help her relax and calm down.

Stella put her head down on his shoulder.She didn't want him to let her go, she felt secure in his arms and she was afraid of falling back into the nightmare's grasp again.

Damien blushed feeling her rest her head on his shoulders, he looked at her, "If you want... you can fall back asleep... I'll stay with you so that you won't have nightmares." He said softly, blushing a bit.

Stella was already out like a light.Her arms loosened and her breathing became steady.He made her feel comfortable, safe and that feeling helped her sleep soundly for once.

Damien saw that she was already asleep, he smiled but then gently laid her in her bed, he then pulled the covers over her gently but then laid down as well, he did promise that he would protect her and he was hoping that she wouldn't have nightmares, he stayed close to her but blushed at the thought of sleeping with her, he made sure that their was plenty of room between the two of them.

Stella snuggled up close to Damien, without noticing it.There, she slept soundly.
~time skip~
Her eyes began open.Looking in front of her she saw Damien,she'd not remembered her encounter with the nightmare.Him laying there didn't bother her though, it actually brought a smile to her face.Stella yawned softly.

Damien had fallen asleep before she snuggled up to him, the next morning, he woke up hearing her yawn but then saw how close they were and blushed deeply, "Oh... good morning Stella... how, how did you sleep?" He asked shyly.

Stella saw him blush and she giggled softly."Fine, how about you?"she asked as her cheeks changed shades a little.
