Miakoda had to obey her Alpha. Liulfr didn't understand that. She pulled her paw away slowly and nodded curtly not to hurt him. She looked at Rammah pointedly.

"We're going hunting," Rammah straightened up and walked towards the cave entrance. The snow storm had settled and a light flurry was still blowing around, this would be as good a time as any. Tracks would be fresh and they would be able to see, but so would the prey. "Isis..." The alpha called to her lead huntress, but kept her gaze on the thin forest outside.

Miakoda stood and followed Rammah to the entrance. She waited for Isis. Rammah... She didnt know what to say. Only wanted to apologize.

"You share the same burden in these snows as I do. Our dark fur stands out against the bleak snow," She turned her golden gaze on Luilfr. "That is why Isis and Mia go ahead of us. They chase the prey into an ambush," Rammah looked back out across the snowy landscape. "There is always a solution. The prey evolve to evade the hunter, the hunter evolves to catch the prey," It was a never ending circle. But Mia and Isis knew the drill and so far it had worked out well for them in these snowy times.

Liulfr was wary of pitching his idea but he did it any way Miakoda and Isis can hunt and we could cover ourselves in snow or even hide in trees or the leaves to camouflage our dark fur

Miakoda looked at Liulfr. She understood what it was like, being a burden by your fur. She touched his paw. My white fur is a burden when it's not snowing. Please do not feel bad. Miakokoda looked at her Alpha for further directions. ((Shouldn't we wait for Isis?))

((We are. I don't plan on "moving out" until Isis replies)) Rammah shook her head. "The snow will melt on our fur and the cold will seep into our skin. The leaves have long sense dried up and the sound they make will alert our prey to more danger. Trees are too slick for us to climb and I don't know about you, but I don't have thumbs." His ideas were admired, as impractical as they may have been, but she wouldn't chastise him for speaking up.

Claws quickly treaded across the snowy earth. She held a few rabbits in her mouth. Crisp snow crunched under every step. She was behind, Claws had been investigating a scent. Some other wolves had been about, but none of which were any threat. She had found some small prey along the way and would bring it back to her alphas. Claws cursed under her breath. The winter was a strong one, it chilled even a wolf to the bone.
Claws eventually caught up to the pack in the cave. It was a great place for shelter from the cold. 'I'd expect none less from Rammah.' She bowed her head to the alphaess. "Sorry for the delay." She said softly.

Rammah looked to her beta tenderly and gave a half smile. Though she had her pack, she still couldn't feel whole; not until she knew of what had become of her mate. "I'm surprised you managed to find your way back in that snow," It was meant as a joke. Rammah trusted her beta and Claws was an exceptional wolf besides. The alpha looked between Mia and Luilfr and then back to Claws. "Once Isis has returned, we are going on a major hunt," She informed the beta. "I'm afraid two snow hares won't be enough to feed us all,"

Claws wondered where Isis was anyways. She glanced over at the other wolves present. She felt a little disappointed to not see her alpha male. He had been gone for a long time now. Claws knew he wouldn't abandon them. She herself wanted to go search for him, but for now her duty was to the pack. After all, alpha was a capable wolf. She heard Rammah's notation on a hunt and smiled.
"I've been anticipating a hunt." Claws licked her lips. She hadn't tasted elk or deer in a while. Her silver coat was at full advantage in this weather. Claws always wanted midnight black fur, since the age of a pup. But many remarked on her fine coat, so she grew to take ride in it. The only downside was Claws' love for the night. Under the full moon, she was easily visable.
Claws laid the rabbits down, she wasn't in the mood for their meat anyways. She then padded towards the back of the cave. "Where is Isis anyways?" Claws' curiosity was peaked.

((whoop, sorry. Must have missed it somehow. It's fixed now. Lupa, did you send me a pic for your profile? I seem to be missing one for you. Also, for the time being, I'm going to make a profile for the alpha male until someone applies for the position.)) "Out," Replied Rammah. She didn't know where or why, just that Isis was around. She could still smell her scent on the wind that blew across the new blanket of snow, stirring it up into swirling twisters of sparkling flakes. Rammah stood up, picking up the rabbits with her teeth. For now, the small hares would be stored for emergency food should the hunt go awry. There was never any certainty in a hunt, especially with the winter snow.

Claws just nodded. She was very distracted and tired. She wasn't sure if falling asleep was a good idea. Claws had been having troubled dreams lately. Everything she dreamt about told her staying in this pack would be her death. She had fallen down a hole trying to save Loki once. In another, she was killed by a bear when defending Rammah. It all brought her down. She would die for her pack, but she hoped not anytime soon. She decided to just rest for a bit.
((I can RP the alpha male as well if you want. Even temporarily.))

Liulf sat by the cave entrance, he watched the forest as the small twisters of snow flakes flew around by the wind. No more then a foot high they were calming to watch as he waited for Isis like the others are too.
