Aludra Yvette... Aludra looked up at Cloud and Meiko with a smile. "Yea, I guess I'm doing alright. Just a bit lonely, I never really knew how much time I spent with Kenneth until he graduated and became our Professor." She kind of faded off as she raised her head from the table and sat back into her chair. "What about you two? How are you both doing?" Both Cloud and Meiko had some pretty rough times in the past few weeks, it was like a wave of bad luck had struck them all. ...7th Year Slytherin

Meiko gave Aludra a light pat on her shoulder with a soft smile after she said to her and Cloud with a hint of sadness. "I have to admit that I'm feeling a bit down these days since I have no one to talk to, but I am trying to remember that he did leave because of him mum..." she sighed with a weak smile, looking at Aludra and Cloud. "How about you, Cloud?"

Heart looks about the classroom. Not many people come to class, anyway, but she was still curious about everything around her. She puts her head on her desk, wondering what to do before the next lesson. Remembering she had other homework, she takes it out.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra gave Meiko a gentle pat on the back. It must have been hard for Meiko for Chris to just up and leave like that. While he did leave for a good reason, it was always tough to see someone you love go like that. "I know its pretty tough. But you can always write to him." She switched her attention to Cloud when Meiko asked her how she was doing. "Yea Cloud, how are you?" ...7th Year Slytherin

Cloud grimaced, as her thoughts returned to the events of the past week. She lowered her voice and leaned in closer, after checking to make sure that she wasn't being eavesdropped upon. Well, my main problem lately has been that I've been getting some rather nasty owls from parents...telling me that they don't want me around their kids, and yadda yadda. It's been a right pain in the a** trying to convince them all that I'm not dangerous. Not too dangerous, anyway. Cloud thought for a moment, as she listened to the troubles of her two friends. You know, we should go do something fun and carefree. Just-completely forget all these problems for a little while. What do you say?

Meiko quickly nods in agreement, and replied with a slight excitement in her voice. "I agree, we should go and hang out in Hogsmeade sometime."

Aludra Yvette... "Well those parents can butt off. Your little furry problem isnt any of their business. Speaking of that... if you ever need some company, my metamorphic abilities isnt limited to human transformations." Aludra gave her a little wink and leaned back in her chair. Granted she wasnt an expert is turning her nose into a beak, but she was sure she could manage a monkey or something similar. Hearing their idea about doing something care free sounded brilliant. "Yes, I completely agree. How about we take a day off soon, just completely skip classes on a slow day and go swimming in the Black Lake? I'm sure the giant squid will be more then happy to be a lifeguard." ...7th Year Slytherin

Cloud grinned as she thought of how those lonely nights would feel instead if she could have Aludra with her. That would really be something. What animal do you think you'd transform into? She nodded to both suggestions. I think both of those sounds really great. A day in Hogsmeade...and I've always wanted to swim in the great lake! Never really got acquainted with the giant squid... She laughed.

Liviana was just getting back to Charms class after sending her homework to the Professor via owl. She stepped through the threshold of the classroom and was surprised to see pandemonium as each student from each year was busily doing an assignment.
Rushing to her desk, Liviana set down her bag and pulled out her wand. She looked for her assignment on the blackboard as a sixth year, which was to use the spell Aguamenti to put out a small fire.
Liviana conjured up a glass mason jar, wadded up a piece of parchment, and tossed it into the jar, whispering, "Incendio!" It burst into flames, and she almost thought it was a shame to put out something so nice and warm. Liviana's hands usually ached during cold weather, and today was no exception.
Narrowing her dark blue eyes, and inhaling deeply, Liviana waved her wand, and called, "Aguamenti!" Liquid burst forth from her wand and instantly quenched the flames inside the jar.
Liviana watched bemusedly for a few seconds as the water continued to pour out of the tip of her wand. She frowned, hoping the spell wouldn't last too long, but after a few moments the jar threatened to overflow. In an annoyed voice she said, "Finite Incantatum," willing the charm to stop showing off. (Sorry for not posting for a while...I'm starting student teaching, and it's been tough these past few days. sweatdrop )

Meiko nervously laughs as she heard the idea about swimming in the Black Lake. "I guess I'll be just staying at the side of the lake and watch you two. It's kinda embarrassing, but I don't know how to swim."

(First of all, I'm sorry for not being online over the weekend. My parents moved and I was helping them all weekend. I will be on now according to the schedule on the first page.)
"Great job, everyone. You are doing a great job."

Gregory poked his head around the door, noticing the class was already in session. "Sorry I'm late," he announced hurriedly, immediately rushing to the nearest seat and pulling parchment and a quill out of his satchel in silence. He pulled his light, curly hair out from beneath the back of his Slytherin robes and shook his head, throwing stray strands out of his face. Pulling his smooth willow wand out of his pocket, he tapped it on the desk, all at once realising he had no idea what he was supposed to be doing.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra looked at Meiko in a bit of shock. "Dont know how to swim? My mom threw me in our pool when I was about 5. 'Sink or swim,' she would say. But we wont do that to you, never." she added hastely. "We could stay where our feet touch the bottom since I tend to get a little frightened when I cant. And then we can have our day in Hogsmeade. Browsing around and what not. Have a few Butterbeers and grab something to eat."Aludra grinned and looked over at the board to check if they had a new assignment. Seeing that there was none up there yet, she turned her attention back to her friends.
Her attention was quickly snatched back towards the door when a new student arrived. She noticed his Slytherin robes and smiled, another one added to the great house of Slytherin. Aludra waved over at the new boy and smiled. It was always nice to see someone being kind to you on your first day. ...7th Year Slytherin

Gregory Gabriel Haleskarth 6th year Slytherin Gregory caught sight of a girl's hand flashing up towards him; he smiled a little shyly and waved back briefly before turning his attention back down to his textbook, through which he flipped lazily.
The shock of green on the back of her robes had given her away as one of his house. Gregory didn't particularly enjoy being a Slytherin; ever since he had been sorted it had plagued him with doubt as to the true nature of his character. He'd long believed he was an upstanding, honest type, and Slytherin was famous for producing duplicitous, unscrupulous cads. What had the Sorting Hat known that he hadn't?
