The vampire then nodded and bit into Vane.It tasted so sweet,given that he hadn't fed for so long.
Once finished,Sifen wrapped a piece of gauze around his acquaintance's neck.For those who managed to exile him,time would only erode away democracy and order,things that many children needed to learn.
"...mother.I failed you."he whispered.

 Vane Nykyrian Wade Vane stood still with his arms still wrapped around Sifen, a sigh leaving his lips as he felt Sifen's lips touching against his neck. He closed his eyes to enjoy being so close to Sifen but all too soon had Sifen pulling away from him and wrapping a bandage around his neck. "S-Sifen...what can I do to help you...p-please tell me...I'll do whatever I can..." As Vane spoke a single tear slid down Vane's cheek. As Vane felt the moisture on his cheek his eyes turned puzzled as he reached up and wiped at the tear with his finger. As he saw the tear on his finger he looked shocked, for he hadn't shed a single tear since he was a young boy, he had learned to hold all emotions inside of himself.

"Vane,you're fine.I...I just miss home so much."he said,breaking down in tears.The boy barely let his emotions out,given that doing so was a sign of weakness.
After slumping the floor,Sifen looked at a photo of his 'mother' near his bedside.Ravenca had taken that on a winter retreat to Russia with some clan members and sent it back home when he was on 'restrictive probation' by the Fuhrer.
"I don't want you to die,mother...not again..."he sniffled,picking up the photograph and holding it close to his chest.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane stood there looking to Sifen before slowly moving over to where he sat on the floor. He wrapped his arms about Sifen and rocked back and forth slightly, wishing he could do more then comfort him like this. "Is there no way to go back there, get them to lift the exile?" Vane shook his head slightly before speaking quickly before Sifen could answer. "Never mind, you do not have to answer that Sifen. I don't want to pry into your life." Vane just continued to rock back and forth with Sifen in his arms. He placed a gentle kiss to the top of Sifen's head and then one to his cheek before pressing his own cheek against Sifen's lightly. (())

"I can't.The Fuhrer made it official.Nothing can be done unless the Elders vote to overturn it.They passed many laws,only to make things worse..."he said,dropping the photograph,shards of glass flying everywhere.
Once that happened,it only made things worse.Tears flooded out of his eyes,dampening his shirt and jeans.The photograph immediately began to fade away with each one.
Soon,Ravenca's smiling face amongst a wintry wonderland became a distorted image.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane looked to Sifen and held him close in his arms. He placed a soft kiss to Sifen's cheek as he listened to all that was said. "And there is no way of getting into contact with the Elders? There is no way to ask for a pardon so to speak?"Vane looked to the photograph and the glass that was now on the floor. Vane leaned forward and picked up the glass, holding it in the palm of his hand, ignoring the pain as a few shards cut his flesh. Next he picked up the slowly fading photograph and held it in his other hand, trying to think of a way to stop the image from fading and to bring back how it had looked. Lines crossed his face as he thought, trying to see if there was anything he could do to give Sifen back the image of his mother.
A smile appeared across Vanes lips as he thought of something. He looked to Sifen and before moving away he placed a gentle kiss to Sifen's lips. "Sifen, I will be right back. Lay down and rest, and when I return I will hold you and comfort you." Vane walked out of the room, throwing the glass into the garbage and walking outside into the snow covered forest. He ran fast through the trees, the picture tucked into the pocket of his pants as he ran towards a small town.
He entered the town, slipping into a store and taking a few other the things he needed. Once he had the items he ran back into the forest and hid inside of a cave he had passed. A few hours later Vane returned to Sifen's home, carrying something large that was wrapped up in plane brown paper. He slowly walked into Sifen's room and sat on the edge of the bed."Sifen, please come here and close your eyes. I have something I want to give you." (())

"Nothing can be done.I've tried many times to appeal to them."he typed to his sister,then closing his laptop.
Upon seeing Vane all covered in snow,the vampire knew that the boy snuck out.Ever since a curfew was put into place a few weeks prior,it would only be a matter of time before they would be hunted.
"...my picture...where is it?"

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane nibbled on his lower lip slightly as he looked over at Sifen. He turned the package to face Sifen and he slowly unwrapped the paper from around it. Once the paper was gone, laying on the floor at his feet, he looked to Sifen. What was held in Vane's hands was a canvas that he had gotten. He had spent that time in the cave painting the image of Sifen's mother, remembering all the details that had been in the image. He worried his lower lip between his teeth as he waited to see what Sifen said. As he waited he pulled the faded image from his pocket and held it out to Sifen. "H-Here is the original p-picture..." (())

"...you...did this...?But why?"he asked,taking the painting and placing it on his wall.
Tears fell down his face upon seeing her azure eyes once more.They were the only things left that he could remember about being at home.
"...mother...I want to be with you...even if it means being executed..."

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane looked at Sifen, feeling a pinch in his chest as he saw the tears upon his cheeks. "S-Sifen..I-I'm sorry...I d-didn't mean to make you c-cry...P-Please forgive me..." Vane's hands trembled slightly as he bit he lower lip. "I...I thought to make you h-happy, to give you back what you had l-lost when the picture frame b-broke...I didn't know it would make you s-sad..." His head hung down as he trembled slightly, he was confused and feeling a pain in his chest. (())

"Vane,it's fine.I'm just upset that I'm unable to go back home now."he said with a sigh.
The vampire took off his locket and placed it in a box marked 'Home Items'.After storing it under his bed,Sifen looked at the ceiling.Being an exile took a toll on him emotionally,especially since the days were longer and harder...

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane looked up slowly, a tear slipping down his cheek as he looked over to Sifen. "I just wanted to make you smile. You have been sad a lot since you found me." Vane wanted to hold Sifen, but he didn't want to get in Sifen's way so he just remained seated on the edge of the bed. "I would help you get home if I could S-Sifen." (())

Hearing those words,the vampire smiled a bit."If you can get me home again,you will be treated as one of my clan members."he said.
With that being said,both males started to pack for the journey back.A full moon would be coming soon,meaning that the elder Sagaan would arrive to see them.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane watches as Sifen starts to pack. His head tilted slightly as she stood and gathered the few things he had with him. When he finished he had a small bag strapped over his shoulder. He stood in the entrance of Sifen's room, watching as Sifen continued to pack. "H-How could I be t-treated as part of your c-clan when I am c-completely d-different?" Vane shook his head slightly as he sighed. "N-Never mind, you don't h-have to a-answer that. I will do w-whatever I can to h-help you get home S-Sifen. I p-promise you that!" (())

"It's okay.Just know that in public,you'll have to pretend that I own you as my familiar."he said,walking over to Vane.
When they got to the meeting point,the sound of a monkey chittering made their ears perk up.A dark skinned man emerged from the shadows,then beckoned said creature to climb onto his shoulder.
"Hello,gentlemen.How can I be of service?"
