Azzo's eyes turned towards the Ice princess while he waited for Aurora making almost an inaudible epp, as the ground started to crack, "Ohh... this is not good." He said as he formed a snowball as fast as he could, pitching it at the lady, obviously his current and only means of fighting the ice-witch.

He hoped she'd heard him among all the commotion, he could at least use the extra help in digging up weapons. "I feel like there's a tongue stuck to a flag pole joke here..." He muttered trying to make a bad situation sound at least somewhat funny.

Tinsel twirled in place, dodging attacks as best she could, although she wished she was more powerful to better protect her Princess. Luckily, Snow Princess Kaguya was an amazing fighter and she was doing just fine on her own. Of course, that didn't mean she didn't feel horrible about not being able to do much for her.

The snow dancer frowned angrily at the people yelling and throwing attacks at her Princess, disgusted that they would dare open their mouthes to her Princess that way!

"Her Highness is most beautiful!!" the dancer insisted, sticking out her tongue at the little girl. Her Princess wasn't all red and blotchy and colored strangely, but majestic and bright, like a fresh snowfall! Tinsel was about to open her mouth to continue defending her Princess, but quickly shut it, feeling like she was stepping out of place. She drew back a bit, bowing low to the princess in apology for her pervious outburst, before lifting her hands to use some more of her magic to try and heal her.

It seemed that Tara could aim decently after all! Pumping her fist as her missile hit its target, Tara wobbled on the slick ground and almost fell. Her balance was regained quickly, but her elation faded even faster. There had to be dozens of people attacking, but it looked like the ice b***h wasn't even fazed. If anything, the words of a kid had more effect than all of their efforts combined.

Maybe brute force wasn't the way to go after all. Dropping back a bit, Tara decided to think it over. If she was made of snow, could they set her on fire? Not without burning down many of the surrounding buildings. But there had to be a better way than wailing on her while she shrugged it off.

As much as Sophie wanted to believe that this was still a stunt or a trick, it was painfully obvious- literally- that this was far more serious. Which meant that the rumors, of terrorists and gangs and monsters in Destiny City, had to be true. Sophie had brushed them off as gossip before, but after witnessing this for herself, there was no denying it.

The spirit of the people around her, unifying to defeat a common enemy, reignited Sophie's spirit. She had no way of knowing that some of them were usually homicidal, or that there was a war going on between many of the combatants. All she could see was people working together to achieve a goal, and when presented with that, there was no way she could just sit there gaping. Her weapons were limited, but Sophie followed the others in the crowd and grabbed the first thing she could lay her hands on- in this case, a broken icicle that the princess herself had created- and launched it with all her might.

Despite all of the gusts of bone-chilling wind, somehow the boomerang managed to sweep in, touch the target, and then came whipping back to the feathered senshi's hand.

"Sh*t... it actually worked?" Iris sounded surprised, but that mostly had to do with the fact that she was, indeed, surprised. Using the yellow piece of wood to shield her eyes, she glanced to the spot she had just attacked. The ice b*tch didn't seem remotely affected, and in fact seemed to have only done a lot more damage to the attackers. And apparently had an issue with being called not beautiful.

"Eh... Somehow I can't say I'd find some b*tch who'd probably melt in a normal temperature room beautiful... she'd probably melt..." The Senshi of Rainbows chuckled a bit, as if trying to lighten the mood, but was honestly just musing for musing's sake.

Once more, she threw that boomerang into the fray, hoping that the first throw wasn't merely stupid luck.

Chromite had been lucky that first time around that she'd been late to the party and had thus managed to escape the large chunks of hail for the most part. So when she'd flung herself, hands and nails first, at the frozen imposter she hadn't really thought much about getting hurt herself. There was one thought on her mind - Turn that b***h into a tasty looking snow cone.

Now with the piercing appearance of not one, two, or three but four icicles sticking out of her body in rather uncomfortable places. There were two in her shoulder, like a sort of frozen 'hero' shot, one had wedged itself into her right arm, and the fourth was sticking out of her lower ribs. It could have been the cold and she could have been in shock, but Chromite was fairly sure that nothing too serious had been impaled. Yet.

Falling back she dodged and ducked past attacking senshi and civilians, past her own fellow soldiers for the Negaverse and a silent part of her smiled as she searched for any sort of debris she could chuck at the snow flurry of a woman above them. The thought crossed her mind that she could simply break into a car and drive it straight at Kaguya, but the idea of hurting so many people on the one night they were actually all working together for the sake of the planet ... Well, maybe another time. Instead she managed to find the jackpot of all garbage cans- One with all of the remainders of holiday parties that had turned into charges of disorderly conduct and public indecency and she grinned.

Chromite grinned like the cheshire cat and hummed as she created makeshift bombs from the half-full bottles of booze that hadn't been swiped by the local bums and swiped matches and lighters belonging to the civilians nearby. They were too busy fighting for their lives or running in fear to miss something so trivial anyway.

Then she let them fly. "Pick on someone your own size, Yeti Queen!" Not that Chromite was even close to being 'the same size'...

It seemed like the youma they had fought on that fateful night when they were sent in to space, this would be a long a** battle. Bellatrix had quickly disappeared into the crowd, and through it, dodging people, attacks, and ice.

It had been too long that she had been cooped up and away from battle. To say she was beginning to enjoy battle wasn't too far off the mark. Maybe battle was simply in her blood.
Deep in the past, it was.

She fired off another swirl of energy - another chakram.

Yeesh, the Ice Princess seemed to Desma to be acting like a teenage girl at the Seminary, belittling others because they insulted her looks.

As if on cue Gomeisa stepped up beside Azzo, trying to get a better view of the icy b***h and her terrible little snow dancers, now she was even more pissed at the little creature that had interrupted her smoking days earlier. Damned little ice dancers.

"Looking to try it out, Flick? I triple-dog-dare you," she laughed, thinking of the movie A Christmas Story, the scene where Flick presses his tongue to the lamp post. There was something of a thrill being able to speak to someone without them knowing your true identity, Batman had the right idea, smack talk was awesome. She flashed the boy a grin.

Her moment was cut short as the earth shifted beneath her feet, she leaped back as a small cluster of icicles came out of the concrete. Lucky for her this also dislodged another large piece of concrete.

Taking it in both hands she lurched it toward the ice b***h.

Tony yelped as his cane betrayed him and ice engulfed it. Yes, it was rather pretty, but in a horrifying way, and he quickly released his cane and stumbled back. He shook his hand, trying to get the biting cold ice off of his fingers. Now without his one weapon, one that had been quite useful to him in the past and he felt rather helpless without, he retreated for a moment to better think his strategy.

He saw Randy nearby, throwing things at the woman, if that was something she could be called, and nearly panicked seeing him hoist up a poor, wiggling little dog. But he seemed to realize that was not a projectile weapon, and hid her away.

Good.

Scurrying over to him, holding his cold hand to his chest, he frowned. "I lost my cane!" He announced, like that meant something.

---

Gently had run for cover when the woman had appeared, staring in wonder and writing furiously. This, of course, resulted in words being written over one another, or running off the page, but she would just have to decipher it later. She felt like she could fill up her whole notebook with this one story, if not for her 'big break' then simply because she found it so fascinating. And how couldn't she? But she also couldn't just stay hidden and writing. She might have been a reporter, but she also had another job.

And this talking icicle was going to get in the way of that.

Painite, popping out from her hiding place, had decided she had quite enough notes to write an amazing story. Blaming everything on the terrorists, of course, but who could tell the difference at this point? Snow Princesses and fairies, Senshi and Negaverse. Hell, she even saw some regular people trying to do some damage. She saw people she knew, and worried about, and people she was meant to hate.

But at the moment, they were all on the same side, if only to stop a common enemy. Whoever she was, whatever she wanted (though that part, at least, was fairly obvious: she had spelled it out rather plainly), they needed to stop her.

It might have been strange, if Painite stopped long enough to think about it. But in practiced fashion, she decided to save thinking about things for later. Her usual tactic for writing stories or conducting research was to get everything together first: deal with the facts at hand, then figure out everything else late. The facts as she knew them were: big fight, she needed to help. Who and why and how would just have to come later.

Summoning her horse head to her, she looked at Mr. Saddles and hoped he would come out of this okay. Of course, damage to her weapon and clothes never seemed to stay, but she couldn't help but worry about it.

The ground started to crack and she looked down, wobbling and using Mr. Saddles to keep her grounded. Her eyes narrowed as she saw ice collecting under her and she pulled herself backwards, away from an icicle as it jutted upwards, stopping just higher than where her jaw used to be. She would have had her head kabobbed if she had been slower.

Growling, she charged at the over blown snow man, using Mr. Saddles stick first, since she knew hitting with the plush horse head would do absolutely nothing, while this might do something closer to something. Maybe.

"This would be so much simpler if you just had a magic hat we needed to knock off!"

(Tony's taking a break! Rolling for Painite. ^^)

"Holy crap. What the hell is going on?!" Paris continued to curse, looking around for somewhere, anywhere, to hide. There wasn't much -- some benches, the Christmas trees at each corner of the square, a couple of side streets -- and it was difficult to wade through the huge amount of people that had gathered, especially when they were hurling s**t left and right.

Who were these people? Even he -- who didn't pay attention to the news -- had heard there were terrorists wandering around the city causing trouble, but he'd never actually seen one. Were these people it? They sure dressed oddly. Weren't they cold wearing skirts in this weather? And if they were the cause of all the mischief happening in the city, did that mean this was their fault, too??

Bastards.

Over all the noise around him, Paris could hear the insane ice woman barking in offense. Because someone had the nerve to say she wasn't beautiful? She wasn't. She was hideous. And scary as hell. He wanted out of here and he wanted out of here now. Paris was many things -- sassy, snobbish, vocal, tough -- but he was not and had never been brave in the face of a physical attack. He could watch other people fight with no problem, but as soon as he was drawn into it, he fled.

The ground cracked beneath his feet before he could get very far, tripping him up and causing him to stumble. He scraped his palms along the ground, the shoulder of his jacket ripped from one of the icicles. Paris winced and hissed, wishing he had something else with which to retaliate. At least some of these terrorists had actual weapons to attack with. He had nothing.

Searching around for anything that may help, Paris grasped onto a nearby icicle with his bare hands and flung it at the... monster. It was about the only thing he could think to call it ******** you, you ugly son of a b***h." How dare she make him injured himself??? He was much too delicate for these sorts of things...

"That didn't even phase her," Alkaid breathed, stepping up to Nemesis' side as she stared up at the looming ice princess. She knew her own attacks were weak, but some of the Senshi around her she knew were powerful offensive attackers.

Though she'd had a pretty successful hit with her own power, she knew there was no way she could muster it up again so quickly. She was drained and tired even without focusing it for tracking, probably thanks to Nem's relentless abuse. It had been interesting and worth it at the time but now.. she would have given anything to have conserved her energy. Why did these kinds of things always happen at the worst time?

She glanced around at the ground, looking for anything that she could maybe use as a melee weapon, when the very ground she was staring at began to wrench and writhe beneath her feet. She managed to side-step out of the way of a bursting icicle, though it snagged her fuku and ripped a whole in her skirt. Pulling the torn material away (consequently ripping it even more), she sneered up at the pale woman above them.

Now that the ground had been ripped open, there was rubble to be used as a weapon. She reached down and pulled up a rather hefty rock, ignoring the way the dirt around it stained her nails, and pulled it up to rest in her arms. She stared at the icy woman long and hard before she did a few twirls in place to gain momentum, then let go of the stone to send it flying in her direction. She hoped it would hit that ridiculous abomination right in her face.

"Maybe that will be a little more effective," she panted out, narrowing her eyes on the path of the over sized rock.

Pomona noticed that Sinon had arrived and was about to go join her when she saw a suspiciously small Senshi draw the wrath of the Ice Queen. Big sister instincts kicking in, Pomona made her closer to the little Senshi as quickly as she dared. She’d finally gotten used to fighting in heels, so of course life had to throw a curve to her by making hr try to fight in heels in the snow.

Lieutenant Mica was also late to arrive at the scene. Having never obtained a snow globe, she wasn’t aware of the snow princess’s impending arrival. She had, however, noticed the change in weather, as well as the concentration of Senshi and Negaverse power signatures in the direction of the Town Square. Upon arrival, she spied the problem immediately: a freaky looking icicle woman and an ice cube throne. Mica disapproved; the only person that had the right to sit on a throne was Queen Beryl. She wasn’t about to try getting close enough to the alien to hit her, so throwing things at her would have to suffice. Picking up a glass bottle, she lobbed it at the fake princess.

Holy crap- this was intense.

Taking shelter behind the light pole, Randy did his best not to get pounded by the ice. Unfortunately, he was just a smidge thicker than the pole he was hiding behind, which meant no real immunity from the blast of cold from the crazy, but totally hot woman. This was not what he wanted to be doing. To think- he had come assuming it would be a fun, if not a bit unusual time.

Holding his side back to his chest, protecting the puppy inside the best he could, Randy poked his head from behind the pole, watching the strange people as they continued to battle the snow lady. Apparently they were doing a much better job of things than he could hope- their attacks much more flashy and important-looking than his now shattered ornaments.

Good. At least some… people… might be able to put this crazy woman in place.

As he surveyed the area, he soon found Tony again, gasping at the sight of the man. One of the attacks must have hit him pretty good- it looked like his hand had been replaced with a pretty little ice sculpture. Probably nothing to worry about.. right?

“Tony!” he yelped, forgoing the usual nickname with the serious air all about them. No time for cute little quips. When the older man joined him, Randy couldn’t help but move his puppy-holding bag away from the man. Just in case that ice happened to be contagious or something. Weirder things had happened that day.

“Forget the cane, man! You alright? Those fingers’ll come off if you let them stay all cold and stuff! Won’t they?” He… wasn’t the best when it came to being comforting. Turning to look at the ice lady a moment, Randy frowned, removing his satchel and handing it, dog and all, to Tony. Thinking better of it, he instead put the strap over the man's shoulder, so he didn't have to try and grab onto it with ice hands. “Guess you can take care of Dogby now! Leave the fightin to the young!” He sprang out from behind the pole, like it really made much of a difference, and took with him the last of the nearest ornaments, hurling it at the woman so it could join its shattered brethren around her.

“Take that!”

Yeah! Fight the power!
