Sola rests her head on his chest, quite tired herself. Even a daywalker enjoys sleeping through the day. Something about the night has always captivated her, but she can never figure out what it is. She just smiles and closes her eyes.

(( yeah it happened to me a few times ))
Desmond felt her head rest on his chest, he put a hand over her head and stroked her hair once before giving in to his urge to sleep. As the sun set he sleeps a dreamless sleep. Something he preferred as he would just see darkness. But dreams always were nice. A sense of sanity for one. As insane a dream could be if you dreamt one you were at least sane.

((lolz k ^ . ^ n sorry for short post, not terribly creative when it comes to my characters going to sleep > Sola soon drifts into sleep as well. Her dreams are of peaceful and happy memories, which always happens when she sleeps with Desmond. These days she rarely has nightmares.

Desmond awoke sometime throughout the night, he tried not to disturb Sola's sleep but he felt like trying out an activity. There was ice all over the valley and they could do something as harmless as skating. He shrugged with her head on his chest he smiled and closed his eyes once more.

((lolz I don't normally dress my avvie like this, but I wanted to see people's reactions when they noticed rofl )) Sola feels him stir and she opens one eye.
"Awake already?" She jokes, yawning slightly. She looks about and notices the moon's light coming in from the window. They'd been asleep for longer than she thought.

Desmond sighed and nodded, he sat upright letting her head softly lower. He stretched his arms and got off the bed. He took his jacket and put it on zipping it only half-way. Be strapped on his fingerless gloves and waited for Sola to get up.

((lmao)) Sola stretches quickly before getting out of bed. She smiles and plants a kiss upon his cheek before walking outside. The air is as frozen as the ground, but she barely feels it.

Desmond closed his eyes as she kissed his cheek, once she headed outside he felt nothing of the weather. As a human his cold tolerance was high enough to stand out in the winter with a sleeveless shirt. He put his hands in his pockets and let Sola hook with on of his arms if she wished. He stared at the ice and smiled.
(( it's true in real life to me, cold is nothing to me and I get in trouble for not wearing a coat or a sweatshirt. ))

((O.o omg same here! When it was raining still, I kept going out in the rain in shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops xD it felt around 50 to 30 degrees but I wasn't cold ^ . ^)) Sola hooks her arm with his and leads him onto the ice. She stumbles slightly from the sudden surface change but manages to keep perfect balance. She looks at him, awed by how amazing he looks in the bright moonlight.

Desmond planted his feet on the ice not slipping at all, he was always used to the ice as a human. Now with enhanced reflexes and whatnot as a vampire his ballance was closet perfect. He traded his non-slip stepping pattern and skid across the ice stopping midway waiting for Sola. When he looked at her he saw how graceful she was and how beautiful her eyes glistening like liquid gold encased with amber. He smiled and awaited for his love to arrive.

((awww how cute! x3 He's waiting for his love to arrive!)) Sola smiles, this is the first time in years she's been able to skate on ice again. As though it comes naturally to her, she skates gracefully to Desmond. Her hair flows behind her almost as though it is going in slow motion as she moves.

Desmond extended a hand and waited for her, he held hers and with the momentum she created they skid together skating on the ice. He moved his head near hers and whispered in her ear.
"You look even better during the moonlight, I thought it was impossible."
He avoided her flailing hair but some cascaded down his face and he moved his head closer now side by side with Sola. He broke off quickly and hit a ramp, spinning around 360 degrees he lands gracefully and effortlessly and extends her hand allowing her to grasp it and continue skating. His love and admiration for Sola grew even more during this shared experience.

((lolz no sorry, imma bit hyper today ^^U)) Sola looks on in awe as he spins through the air. She smiles and takes his hand once more.
"Showoff." She says, laughter in her voice. She doesn't really mind him being a showoff, in fact she finds it quite entertaining. She's having too much of a good time with him to really care about much other than the time they are having together and him.

Desmond couldn't help bit to laugh slightly at her comment. He was only having fun. Sola's laugh always made him blush somewhat, he closed his eyes and let Sola guide him, an act of trust as an act of faith. He put his arm around her waist as a one armed hug while they skated. He couldn't help but to enjoy what time they had on ice. He heard a story of where Sola came from snow never fell. He felt bad and now was time to embrace the snow with her.

((It is indeed ^ . ^ and that's alright, my mind is quite shot today lol)) Sola smiles when he laughs, the rich sound practically music to her ears. As though knowing he is putting his trust and faith in her, she guides him skillfully in intricate patterns that a human would end up falling from attempting to mimic them. She's always enjoyed the snow, that's why she had gone to where it would most likely fall. A slight blush appears on her cheeks when he puts his arm around her and she smiles again.
