"Mother was very helpful. I love her so much," said Special with a smile.
Chuckling slightly, Laura said, "I may have also altered her feelings towards me a little."

Dash  "Oh..." Dash muttered. "Well...That's different." He said, looking at the smiling Special. "It's...A leap in personality..."Gymmyk chuckled. "Well what can you expect from Mama?" He said excitedly, smoking a bit more of his kiseru. "She's the best magician ever!"

"I'm a sorceress," snapped Laura, her eye twitching ever so slightly. She quickly regained her composure and continued, "Magicians merely use magic to do cheap parlour tricks and for other useless purposes."
"Mother is the best sorceress in the world!" stated Special. She then tried to give Laura another huge hug.
"Knock it off!" shouted Laura angrily, causing Special to back away. Turning back to Dash and Gymmyk, she said, "I may have made her a bit too nice to me. Anyway, let's get back to that excitement. What shall we do? Beat up robots? Kill wizards?"

Dash "Yeah, I think so too." Dash said, frowning and looking at Special.Gymmyk was over apologizing to Laura. "I'm sorry, Mama! I'm sorry! You're a sorceress!!""Now about something to do...I dunno. I don't want to leave Emmma here..." He looked from Special, To Laura, to Emma.

Laura smiled as she patted Gymmyk on the head. Sighing with frustration, Laura said, "Just bandage her up so that we can go. She'll be fine, unless this dump collapses on her." Laura laughed as she eyed the decrepit store.
"Oh, an adventure! I'm so excited!" screamed Special. She was practically bouncing off the walls with enthusiasm.

Dash Dash sighed at the enthusiasm of Special. "Can you please return her to her normal self? In all honesty it's creeping me out." He frowned, looking at Emmma. "I guess we should. Where are those bandages Special threw at you?"Gymmyk giggled, turning into a ball and attatching himself to Dash's back. "Well? let's go~!" He said excitedly.

"I will not change her back," stated Laura. "I'd rather have her creepily over enthusiastic than trying to kill me again. As for the bandages, they are lying over on the floor there."
Special stood in the corner, giggling non-stop and making amusing sounds.

Late that night at camp everyone celebrated their grand haul of treasure. Kid slipped away the silence to think for awhile. She looked at the amethyst and laid back in the sand. "you aren't cold?" her friend, whom she fought over the gem, came to check on her. "Not really. My whole body is metal so I can't really feel cold, even though I know it is." Kid responded. "I wonder how long I've had this arm o' mine." she continued holding up her right hand. It was covered in what looked like a mix of hard leather and cloth. At her finger tips looks something like claws, but in fact it was something like that of finger nails, only pointed and...well sharp! "Why do you have it?" her friend asked. "I don't rightly know mate. All I know is when you blokes found me close to a year ago I 'ad it. Anythin' before that, well, I just don't remember!" Kid spoke.
A moment of silence passed. "Oi! Do ya ever feel like at one point in your life you were someone else before?" Kid asked staring sternly at the amethyst and her arm. "I have, but thats only when I think too much." answer her friend. "Wha' if I'm not really me? But instead someone else?" Kid continued. "Impossible!" yelled her friend; "You are, Kid, through and through! No one else!" Kid sat up and looked out in the desert. " I 'ope you're right, mate."

((Watch out ladies, here comes Troy. xd ))
Troy went flying through the air, thrown by a large beefy man standing in the doorway. "Don't come back unless you plan on paying the ladies for their services!" growled the man angrily. Troy landed on the ground, doing a somersault to reduce the impact. He then turned around with a smirk on his face and said, "It's not my fault that your ladies like to offer their services for free to handsome men such as I." The beefy man growled again and gave Troy a menacingly glare. Spit flying out of his mouth, the man shouted, "This is a prestigious and licensed brothel that offers its services to important and wealthy clientèle! If you want free sex, go to some sleazy whore house!" With one more growl, the beefy brothel owner went back inside and slammed the door behind him. Troy frowned slightly as he mumbled, "I guess I'll have to find my fun somewhere else."

Dash ((Oh I will have fun tormenting this character. be the handsome guy who tries to get the ladies, eh? Well there isn't room for 2 of them! )) Dash looked at Special. "But she's...Creepy..." He said, looking at Special hopping up and down.Gymmyk frowned as well. "Yeah...She is a little weird..." He said.

"Fine," sighed Laura, "I'll release her. However, if she tries to strangle me again, I'm going to incinerate her." Laura growled slightly as she snapped her fingers. Special glazed over and fell to the floor. "There you go," said Laura. "Can we go now?"

I suddenly stopped and my companion stopped with me. "I'm thinking about going to a desert. I don't think it would be wise if you accompanied me there. It would be....well.....hot!" I said looking at him, but I feared he didn't understand or he was refusing to leave my side. "I will not let this turn into a scene from 'Old Yeller'." I spoke under my breath. "Ok fine! I'll just shave off all of your fur!" I exclaimed powering up my plasma saber and grabbing a fist full of his fur. He shook loose and stared at me sternly. "Hehe, ok I get it I won't mess with your hair-do!"
Once it started to warm up from us marching south, I started to lose the furs I was wearing. "It's odd but, I don't know why I was wearing those. It's not like I could get sick. Maybe it's a past human fear, or something like 'phantom limb'." I pondered talking the bear as he just kept by my side. "I guess I should keep alot of water on hand for when you start to over heat in the desert..." I kept going making the necessary calculations in my head.
As we started to see patched of grass I noticed something odd about my fuzzy friends fur. It was getting shorter! "Ok, ok ok....wait wait wait wait wait wait." I said stopping and he stopped too. "You better tell me that bears such as yourself have mutated to be able to live in any climate, cause what I am witnessing is a very clear act of 'Darwinism'........Oh forget it, I don't even know how long it was before Tin..." I stopped and looked down, then got really angry. "Dammit! Enough of this! She is gone and there is nothing I can do to bring her back!" I shouted and stomped my foot causing a small crater.
After about two more days of walking in the grassy and tree lined areas, everything just suddenly turned into a desert. Although it wasn't hot at first, it got there the more we walked on. And more and more the fur of my , so called, polar bears skin changed to adjust to the climate. "This is....no....I will not ponder on this right now.....Oh for the love of......I wish you could talk so I know what it is you are going through cause this is nuts!" I screamed at him. "I guess I should name you since you and I are going to be traveling for a bit."

Troy wandered down the main street, wearing no shirt and with his body covered in oil. He offered passing women flirtatious glances, causing them to either blush or swoon. One particularly beautiful woman caught his eye. He began to approach her with a sexy grin on his face, but a huge man stepped in his way. "Were you looking at my girl?" growled the man. Troy looked around him and smiled at the woman. "Well how can I help myself with such a gorgeous woman," said Troy. The huge man snarled angrily and aimed for Troy's face with his fist. Troy dodged the man's fist and twirled around him. After offering the beautiful woman a charming smile, he grabbed the man's other arm and locked it behind the man's back. After finding the right spot, Troy applied pressure and held the man's arm in place. "Owww, let go! That hurts!" yelled the man. Troy instantly let go and kicked the man forward. "Maybe next time you won't mess with a man who wishes to glance upon true beauty," said Troy. He slid over next to the beautiful woman, gently grasped her hand, and kissed it. After one more smile, Troy wandered off down the street once more.

Early the next day Kid woke up in a fright. She was sweating and her chest felt like it was on fire. Her right arm was shooting a searing pain up to her shoulder from the finger tips. "A-ahg, W-what the bloody hell is going on?" she asked as if the arm would respond.
The pain got more and more intense and she couldn't bear it. She sat on her knees and held her arm down while she rested her forehead on the ground. After a few moments the pain increased again. Kid couldn't take anymore she bashed her head hard against the stone floor to knock herself out, but she only succeeded in breaking the stone. "What is this?!" she exclaimed as tears started to roll down her cheeks. Then suddenly the pain stopped. It was as if nothing was wrong in the first place.
Kid couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. "What are you?" she asked her hand finally as the sun rose over the horizon. "I jus' hope that doesn't happen again..."
