Remus suddenly became extremely interested in a nearby store's sign.

Julie nodded. "I see. What are we going to do on Monday?" She asked wanting to keep the conversation going. Max was filled with relief that Julie was stupid enough to believe Tonks. "Hi Professor Tonks, and Mr. Lupin." Max said gently, going in front of Cristian.

Tonks shrugged. "I dunno, I usually just wing it with each lesson." she said, also relieved that her idiotic lie worked, or seemed to have worked anyhow.
Glad, but still not eager to join the conversation, Remus continued looking at the sign.

"Cool." Julie said, then looked at Mr. Lupin. "What about you?" She asked.
Sally looked at Tonks. "What did you buy for your cousin!?" She asked, with a smile even though she knew what she bought. Max was able to show a tiny smile, and she held her hands tightly in front of her.
(This just occured to me. What month is it O.o)

Tonks smiled and reached into the bag Lupin was holding, pulling out a teddybear. "This! How CUTE is it?!" she said happily, mostly speaking to Max.

Max and Sally nodded. "Really adorable!" They both said with a huge smile. Julie pouted when Mr. Lupin didnt answer. "Never mind then." She said, and looked at the teddy bear which Tonks was holding. "Cute."

"Ignore Mr. Anti-Social. He's feeling embaressed to be seen outside a baby store." Tonks said matter of factly, smiling.
"Hey, I am not. And I'm not anti-social!" Remus said, looking at Tonks, annoyed.
"Sure you aren't. And I'm not a Metamorphagus." Tonks said, rolling her eyes and putting the teddybear back into the bag.

Everyone laughed, except the boys. "Hey, uhhh we're gonna go to a store." Said Cristan and Josh, and so they went off. Julie waved bye, and so did Sally. "Bye." Max said, looking at the bag. "Tha-...thats adorable! Im sure your cousin's baby will like it." Max said, almost blowing it.

Max smiled, and so did Julie. Sally stood there, looking around them at the different shops. Julie giggled a bit at Tonks, and Mr Lupins remark. Max waited there for a time, "Uhm, what do you want for a teachers present? I do this every year around Christmas. Between a 20 to a 50 dollar limit." Max said shyly, sounding cheap.

Max nodded at Tonks, and looked at Remus. "Are you sure? I mean I do it for every teacher that I have." Max said.
Julie nodded, "Its true. shes done that ever sense first grade. How weird, huh?" She said.
Max turned to face Julie, "Its not weird! I like to give the people that make me smarter something for Christmas! Its not that bad!"
