(Serpent Buddies forever! XD Quarria would like that. It wasn't just her logic that made her come up the mountain. She wanted to make sure he didn't freeze. SHE CARES, MAN.
And awesome, I have enough time to post before I have to go! Woo!)

"Gabrian, there you are!" She called with a worried smile, slithering up toward her Nix friend. As he smiled, her own turned into a happier grin, even if it was still a worried one. He looked relatively okay, and he was carrying a... rabbit? She was slightly confused but figured it was another student or something. "I wasn't expecting to come this way, actually. But, the needs of many outweigh my own comfort. I would be a better asset up here then on the Island. Living/warm train-serpent and all. And," She unfurled a wing and folded it around Gabrian a bit, trying to warm him up a little. If he wanted, he could lean into the feathers, but if he didn't he could push them away. "I didn't want you to freeze up here." If serpents could blush, she probably would have at this point. But it was true. She'd convinced herself that she was needed up here so that she could come and make sure he would be okay. (And you know, not freeze. Serpents got to stick together, right?)

She smiled a little and looked around at everyone after he had patted her side (which had made her feel very happy, by the way). "In any case, The Amphithere Express is back. Want to ride? I'm sure that you'll need the warmth more up here then down in the forest, and my wing-feathers are the warmest thing I can provide, and people can sit snuggling into them if they're on my back. Plus, I do work as a pretty effective train, and the easiest way I can keep from freezing myself (cold-blooded and all, like when you're in serpent form) is to have people sit on me and share their body heat." She lowered her head so she would be at a closer eye level then before, her frill of feathers puffed happily. "And I don't quite believe we got to finish our discussion about how Nix play music, did we?" She asked with a kind smile, happy she had found her friend.

(Anyone can ask her for a ride, by the way. She was carrying half/most of the Gromble Train Car at one point in time.)

A mountain in the distance grumbles deeply and starts moving toward you. Oh wait, it's not a mountain in the distance, it's a yeti that's getting really very close. "Cousin Maynard?" It asks as it approaches you. It seems kind of friendly? You hope. "You owing me twelve peppermint points..." Maybe not.

"Excuse me?" She asked, as the yeti came toward her. For one thing, she was a THIRTY-FOOT SERPENT. How can anyone mistake that for a yeti?? Oh snap, this wasn't even a friendly yeti, and it thought she was cheating him out of some points! The nerve of that creature. It had practically bumbled into her, which hadn't hurt her much, considering she was bigger then the thing, but still. She murmured over to Gabrian and his companion before returning her attention to the creature, "Sorry to interupt our conversation Gabrian, I hope this won't take long." Baring her fangs, she gave an angry hiss and flared her feather crest. Then, she launched her mouth toward the furry creature, hoping to bite it with her dragon-sharp teeth.

Alessa sighed, propping her head against his arm. Honestly she was tired of arguing about it, as he obviously wasn't going to believe her. And ultimately he and Livi were right, there were more important things to deal with right now, let getting off this Jack forsaken mountain. All she could say is that she was lucky she was pretty warm and though she hated being a rabbit, being a human was far chillier.

"Alright, lets just focus on getting through this path," she said, glancing from one individual to the next within the group. "I agree with...um...sorry, I don't know your name," she told Aksaja and shook her little head, sending her ears flopping, "But I don't think we should stay too long here..." She was about to mention something about how they shouldn't rest for too long, either, because the cold would still ware them out when suddenly what appeared to be a huge feathered serpent, or perhaps a dragon, descended from the sky and then slithered over to them. Alessa's ears stood up in attention. What was it today with monsters whose mouths she could easily fit into?

At the sudden conversation, though, Alessa figured that it must have been a student. She passed a glance between Gabe and Quarria, which actually required her to turn her head multiple times, and then asked, "Oh, is this a friend of yours Gabe?" Not waiting for an answer she turned to the ghoul and smiled, "I'm Alessa! I didn't-look out!" Her greeting turned into a warning as she saw a yeti come right at Quarria. Those horrible, horrible things! And their horrible...horrible teeth.

Did she... kill it? Could you even kill something that was made of snow? Igneous wasn't sure and she really didn't want to take the time to think it through. Thinking that hard made her head hurt and she was still smarting from that hit the snowman had gotten in on her.

She scooped up the box it had left behind and approached the other students. She didn't recognize most of them and her heart fell a little. What had happened to the rest of the group from her car who headed this way? And how had Rain joined this group - hadn't she started down that horrid Candycane path?

"Hi, I'm Igneous," she said as she caught up with them. "I was in the Krumm car but came this way when our group split up since I didn't want to risk the waters"

Being careful to work around Hadiyya's injuries and curves, Corbin's hands continued to work at wrapping the thick but soft tent fabric and closing off her wounds. When she awoke and stared up at him, he kept quiet and did not speak until she spoke herself. The Wraith eyed her for a moment, faint smile returning as she seemed not to be as bad off as he--and particularly Braum--originally thought.

"Hello, Hadiyya. I'm Corbin," he lightly gave one of her knees a pat where there were no scrapes. "I'm almost done, then we'll see if you can walk. Braum should be back in a few minutes." It was hard to tell but the ghost figured the Marid was most definitely the Raum's ghoulfriend--an item of bird and water, how interesting. Still, with how intent he seemed to take care of the other injured girl as well, whom it seemed he barely knew, perhaps he was just an altruist.

With women.

The last bandage in place, Corbin adjusted himself so Hadiyya could easily get up at her own pace, though a hand on her shoulder was silently urging her to give it a try rather than text. Him and his old fashioned 1980s attitude, or at least that was what someone had called it; he could never understand why an eyePod was better than a Stalkman or a Doombox or why the good old wall corded Skelephones were tossed aside in favor of the ones with texting features and Demons and Monsters alike all used that more than actually speaking with one another. A ghost stuck in the past, that's what Corbin was, quite literally.

He turned to Aksaja, blue eyes almost glowing in the stark white of the landscape despite the lack of FEAR. The dragon had a point, getting as much headway would be the best idea and so Hadiyya getting back on her feet was first priority. If she couldn't walk by herself either he or Braum could be her crutch, he didn't mind either way as long as they made some progress. "We should probably head out. Just a little longer to make sure everyone's good to go," the crow nodded his head toward the ghoul in his lap without taking his eyes off Aksaja.

Just a little longer now.

"Yes, lets hurry up!" He said bouncing and rushed off ahead of his two friends. "Come on, we need to get to the workshop. I wanna see what they have anyway!" I mean yes, there was joy everywhere and would be more there, but he wanted to see what sort of things they had in the workshop, it was sure to be interesting and like nothing he'd ever seen before.

The lightning dragon nodded to Corbin at that and turned, putting his back to the two of them so he could keep a lookout. He just hoped the snow-monster things couldn't form up anywhere there was snow. Because if they could, trying to play guard wasn't going to do much good...

Seeing how everyone was moving along as needed, he shoved his hands into his pocket and followed at his own pace. He was glad that Braum's ghoul and Iolanthe were being looked after and kept safe. Though he doubted he'd be on much use to anyone, he stuck to the back of the group as a look out. Best to lag a bit and make sure nothing followed than get too far ahead, this time around. A faint smile crossed his lips at how the group was coming together, even with all the new additions to it. A good, solid group of other students.

They'd get to the Workshop, find whatever they needed to find and get back. Then he could clean himself up, change into something else or just take a nap. Argh, he was tired. Though he should probably tent for a bit, he was pushing himself to stay awake as long as he could manage. Just in case something happened.

However, his head tilted as a ghoul made out of stone? She looked rather gray.. no matter, joined the group as well and he bowed a bit. "I'm Livi. Of Ickis. Glad to see another member join safely. Did you have any troubles getting here?"

Carefully, the demoness tucked her phone back into one of the many pockets of her borrowed clothing. Turning a somewhat sheepish little smile up to the wraith. "My apologies." Surely turning her attention to her phone in the middle of introductions was the rude, but it had been.. how many days now since she'd last had contact with the nergal? He was only one she hadn't been able to find after the crash, and there had been a nagging sense of worry eating at her ever since he entered the forest. Now that she knew he was alright, she felt quite a bit better. Relatively, anyways.

The bandages had stopped the bleeding at brow, cheek, and shoulder, but they did very little for the throbbing ache that was settling in with the promise of hanging around for a very long time. With an encouraging nudge from Corbin the marid managed to sit up, but wasn't quite willing to stand just yet. She'd already collapsed twice since leaving the train, and with as little sleep as she'd had, coupled with her injuries, she just wasn't willing to chance it, yet. Sitting up seemed to be going well, at least. No dizziness, no streamers of grays or blacks taking over her vision.

A brush of her fingertips stroked along the inner curve of one of the boil's dark wings. "Your plumage is quite stunning." It was perhaps a little off topic, but Hadiyya didn't really have a whole lot to contribute to the discussion of leaving as soon as possibly verse resting a bit longer. She would follow Braum, it was as simple as that.

((Should probably mention that Ru is having a bit of trouble getting onto Gaia at the moment and therefore cannot post in the rp. The problem will hopefully be fixed soon.))

((Rolling for shifting. Odds:: Shift - Evens:: No-shift))

Draven beamed and nodded at his two friends. He was glad they wanted to move on; he was quite liking this adventure so far. Well, in a way.
He gave another look to the other students. Maybe some of them would be pressing on, too. That would be good, he reasoned. The more moving along the path the better? Draven really didn't know.

Alerick took off ahead of them. "C'mon, Eracs!" Draven called as he took off running after the werewolf. "On to the workshop!" Alerick had the right idea.

A familiar feeling washed over him. Candlejack! he thought. He had plenty of momentum hurtling him forward, and pretty much landed chest first in the snow. His legs switching from human to bird was just too sudden. At least he had kept himself from tumbling. He bounced a bit on top of the snow, his black feathers giving off a stark contrast to the white.

He looked to Eracs; he knew the scarecrow didn't like his raven form. "Sorry bout that," he said. "Still can't control it. Shall we catch up with our werewolf friend?" He added as much friendliness as he could to his scratchy voice.

More and more kept arriving! Did something happen earlier that he was unaware of? Oh well! It also seemed that another snow creature was attacking. Was there no end to these things. He jumped up and down for a moment at the thought of Sandy Claw's workshop. What kind of wonders would be there? Would they mind if he tinkered with some of the stuff? Eracs hoped they would let him!

The scarecrow ran off after his friends. He then stopped in his tracks when Draven changed, again. He took a deep breathe and walked towards his transformed friend. "Y-yeah. Let's catch up."

(( Aahh, I hope Ruri can get it sorted soon D:

-puts up a renewed ref image of Corbin for newer peeps- ))

With a shake of his head, the Marid's apology was put to rest, "Don't worry about it." Corbin didn't feel it was impeding much in the way of conversation, not when he was keeping quiet and minding his own business. He did, however, offer her a reassuring smile after turning to see Aksaja begin standing guard. That was nice of the dragon, if things turned out well, he would have to thank him.

His blue gaze shifted, glancing around at all of the others; that ghoul was still in her rabbit form, some sort of snake being had arrived as well as a ghoul made out of stone, and Livi appeared to be tending to her while Braum was dealing with Iolanthe. The scarecrow took him a moment to find, as well as the Nix, and suddenly he caught the tail end of another student he had never seen before being forcefully transformed into one of his own; a crow, or perhaps a raven.

With the soft touch of the ghoul's fingers, Corbin's wings twitched and nearly retracted. His eyes snapped back to the Marid, looking tense for a moment before softening once more. Perhaps it was the part of him that was a ghost, so used to phasing and only touching things as he pleased, or it may have been the intensity of his natural ability making him anxious for any physical contact, but just as he had flinched when Livi gave him his tie he gave a start at her gentle gesture.

"Your plumage is quite stunning."

Was it really?

Not many compliments were received, especially in regard to his wings. Something nagged at the back of his mind, making him wonder whether the ghoul was being genuine or if it was the fact his wings reminded her of Braum's. No matter. One compliment deserved another. "Thank you," now getting used to the feel of her fingers, he stretched his wings farther, making them look larger. The Wraith's eyes roamed for something to compliment but all he could find was perfectly tanned skin, interrupted by blue and strips of black. Best to go with something simple, nothing incriminating. Surely she or Braum would become offended if he complimented her 'assets',
her legs in particular kept drawing his gaze. "I could say the same of your eyes," he enjoyed the blue, it was a nice compliment to both dark and light colors; he was a clear example of that, to be sure.

He took note of her sitting up but not yet attempting to stand and assumed she thought she may be unable. Turning to Aksaja, he called "If you want, you can go. I'll keep an eye on her," before looking Hadiyya over once more. "If you need help walking, I don't mind," and he raised an arm, prepared to be a crutch--the balls tied to his wrist chimed at the motion, almost beckoning.

Rain only had one pumpkin pill left. Should she take it or try to hold on to it a little longer? Logic stated that she should try to hold out. Perhaps she should have grabbed a carol of the bells instead of the yellow snow. She was quietly following the group when her pocket started vibrating against her thigh. "What the hell," she started, fumbling in her pocket for the cause of the weird movement. It was her skellyphone! She had barely ever used it. Opening up, she peered closely at the screen.

WHERE ARE YOU!? PLEASE TELL ME THE NINJA HAS NOT CAPTURED YOU!!!

It was Belladonna! "I'm okay, Belladonna! I was sent to the icy path," she replied into the phone before smacking a herself. She really was a moron sometimes. It wasn't long ago that a friend had explained the difference between a real phone call and a text message but this still took a lot of getting used to. Until two weeks ago, she had never had a phone before. She hit the reply button and wrote out, Snow took me to Icy Path. Am ok. Sad and missing you all. Hope this means you are well. Will meet up as soon as I can. Alessa and Iggy here. Are ok too. She looked it over briefly and hit send. What handy items skellyphones could be!

If Belladonna was able to message her, that must mean they are okay!

The lightning dragon thought about that for a moment, and then eyed the bells tied to Corbin's wrist. No... he'd rather not wander about by himself, thanks. Not when he could stick around someone who could heal him if one of these new monsters decided to jump his a**. Especially since he only had one pumpkin pill left. Stupid 'cider fairy', stealing his pill and then just offering him snow-cider which wasn't alcoholic AT ALL thank you very much. Tch.

"It's probably best to stick together," he replied with a little shake of his head. There was just a touch of bitterness in his tone, were one listening for it.
