Yuna sighed as she gave Rikku a hand. The poor Al-Bhed girl looked like she might fall over.
Glancing to where Seymour had disappeared, the summoner felt like she too might fall over from mere shock.
"Thank you, for your help." Yuna spoke, turning her attention to the flower girl so that she might put this out of her mind for a little while. "And for healing me. But we really need to get Rikku to a place where she can rest."

Aeris nodded once, smiling slightly. "We're not too far from my house, actually," she spoke softly, also aiding Rikku. "Here. Follow me."
They went through the maze of the slums, sometimes climbing over metal and scrap piles. "Be careful here, things are sharp..." she warned, apparently expert in the scaling of such hazardous 'mountains'. Eventually, however, they passed through an opening, past a broken-down bus that appeared to be housing a family. She shrank back into the shadowy passages, and it was then that a beautiful, glorious sight met their eyes.
There was a nice looking house before them, and behind it, a towering waterfall. There was sunlight here, an oddity considering the rest of the slums---but even more unusual were the hillsides covered in flowers. Flowers were everywhere. She smiled, looking around and taking a deep breath. "Ahh..."
Once they entered her house, she pulled out a chair for Rikku to rest on. "Hang on a second--- Mom!!! Hey!! Mom!! I'm home!!! I brought some friends!" she shouted, and down the steps came a 40-ish looking woman, with brown hair and eyes.
"And who might they be?? Would you like some tea??" she asked politely, a warm smile on her face.
They lucked out bigtime here.
Yuffie, meanwhile, just smiled, going through Laguna's pockets. "You have a decent amount of money on you..." she chirped cheerfully, giggling, also taking his weapon and setting it down on the ground. "What else do you have...?"
She went through his belongings quite quickly, snatching anything of interest, especially anything magick-inducing. Her eyes glittered with joy. "Ahh... Wutai, Wutai, this is for you!" she hummed softly, chuckling.
If it wasn't apparent then, her identity was now.

Aeris shook her head. "No, it's no matter. The Planet told me about him anyhow... Well, illusively. Everyone's worried there. That he mentioned Jenova is strange too.. I've never met people like you before." she admitted. "You can stay here as long as you like. I'll probably stay here or at the Church a few sectors away--- either way, I'll be fine. Where do you come from, and who exactly is that man?"

Rikku leaned haevily on her chair, breathign hard. That had not been so fun, but at least it had turned out better than the fight before that one. Stupid uglies. Adn if Aeris hadn't been there...they'd all have been toast without the woman's healing powers. At least she had killed one of the damn beasties. She's let Yunnie explain; she was the unofficail leader, after all.

The only warning Irivine had for teh traps was that suddenly, the redhead was no longer leaning against him. For a spilt second, he thought she fell. Until she went up.
The blonde and Irvine himsefl soon followed. Oh great. The three of them were hung up in trees. How could he have missed such a thing. Oh curse it all. Well, at least the veiw is raher nice, Irivine thought looking at his upsidedown comapainions and trying not to smirk, And theis angle shows off my abs quite niecely.
Now all he had to do was get himself and then the girl's down and be the hero of the day. He should thank whoever laid these traps

"WHOO!" Yuffie whooped, "Caught 'em!"
She giggled at Laguna, and then at Irvine and the women, before skipping over and snatching all the fallen loot. For the women, but especially for Irvine, she jiggled the lines to encourage the dropping of treasures, much to their discomfort. Funny enough, they weren't even 15 feet away from eachother.
"Thank you for your generous donation to the City of Wutai! Hey, not a bad set of abs on either of you guys..." Yuffie grinned fiendishly, stuffing as much as she could into her pack, pockets, armor and net. "I am Yuffie Kisaragi, greatest ninja in the world! You'd better not mess with me, these forests are MY turf!" She let out a series of punches that barely missed their faces, before laughing and tossing her head. She was well-prepared for this sort of thing. Like Laguna, she yanked down Irvine's guns and placed them just barely out of their reach on the forest floor, and proceeded to raid through his pockets and belongings with reckless abandon.
"Now you can say you've survived my wrath!" she boasted, having taken her share of...well....everything of absolutely any value, including Irvine's hat, now sported atop her head. "Have fun getting down! Nice doing business!"
She took off to the north, disappearing into the forests, but they wouldn't hang where they were forever. If they didn't figure out a way to get down first, the rope eventually frayed, sending them plummeting no more than 2 feet, 4 inches to the ground. From where they were, it wouldn't be too hard to find Wutai......
.....Finding Yuffie, on the otherhand, was something else entirely.
By the time her helpless victims had fallen, she had already deposited most of the money in her secret bank account---the rest she spent, mostly on various drinks, weapons, and the like. If she had found magick items, they were definitely gone, hidden in her house. Her house was a maze and trap in itself, really. There were enough booby traps set up that even she had to be careful from time to time. For now, though, she avoided the cozy abode, and instead hid in one of the pots outside the weapon smith's. Her ninja-sense insisted that they would follow, after all the crazy booty she lifted--- tourists were turning out to be pretty lucrative finds!--but with so many similar jars spread out around the city, she knew her hiding spot to be pretty safe.
Now if she could only keep her balance utterly absolute while in this thing. It really would have helped if she would have picked the one with the flat bottom.
Aeris offered Rikku some tea mixed with some of a potion she'd found out in the slums---approximately 1/5 of the liquid ought to do the trick. The entire thing was too much considering her damage vs health, and with her lacking of any considerable amount of money, wasting was a big no-no.

Yuna sighed, "That... It's a long story." she said, putting her head in her hands with another sigh. "He's supposed to be dead. We're from Besaid Island. I'm Yuna and this is Rikku. We were traveling here to find out about rumors of new fiends appearing. There was a monster in our portion of the world known as SIN, we finally destroyed it... but so many other things got in the way. Maester Seymour is one of them. He was a Maestor of Yevon, a High Priest and Summoner, until he tried to "cleanse" the world, as he put it. But I don't understand how he can be alive."

Falling from suspension Laguna landed on his head.
"Owwww Owwwww...........OWWWWWWWWWW", he groaned rubbing it profusely. He reached over to collect his weapon and rushed to the other 3.
"Are you guys alright? Not hurt at all are you?" He shook his head and looked in the direction that Yuffie had run. "Yuffie Kisaragi, awww DANGIT!!! I'm gonna drag her to Midgar yet. "

"Hmm..." Aeris murmured thoughtfully, "The Planet has been telling me she's been worried lately. You can sense it. I don't think things are going to get any less complicated anytime soon.... I think, next time we can, we should leave this place. I've never been outside..." she frowned, "I always have this feeling that I have something yet to do, or find here. It doesn't make sense."

"I still can't get over the fact we just got attacked by a dead man" sadi Rikku faintly, "I mean, teh guy was a corpse. Dead, dead, dead. What the hell happened? Was it that other person, parsite he was ravign about?"

"I can do it fine," sadi Irivine, slightly offened, He lifted his torso up to his tied legs and let himself down, landing gracefully on teh soft grass. He couldn't belive such a thing had happened to a slick guy like himself. He let the other girl's down, too, as an afterthought.
"Oh that girl is goann pay," he muttered grimly, picking up his weapon.
"Yeah, you show her!" she blonde yelled hugging the young man around his lovely abs.
"I knew you'd defend us," sadi teh redhead as she did likewise.
What were these to broads talking about? The self-prclaimed ninja took his hat. His hat. In Irivine's world, such a thing was punished in teh highest possible way. Oh yeah, she was going down. How dare she have the nerve to steal his hat.
Though she was rather attractice. And she clearly had good taste judging by her rection to his abs. Maybe he'd let her kiss him for his hat back. Whaterv it took. he would get his hat and defend his honor.
The redhead and blonde didn't need to know that, Irivine thought as he looked to the other man.
"I'll help. No one messed with me like that" Or steals my hat. Ever

"I'm not sure, but it's highly unnatural---I wouldn't doubt if Jenova had something to do with it." she sighed, "My real mother, Ifalna, knew a great deal more than I do....but she died when I was a child. I could ask the Planet later at the Church..." she decided, "Probably while you rest here."

Aeris blinked in confusion. "Fayth? Who are the Fayth? No, in these lands, there was once many of my race, the Ancients..." she explained, demonstrating what she could with small hand gestures. "We worked with the Planet, we talk to her, we know what's wrong. We would work the land, help things grow, gather energy to heal her... All I really know of Jenova, is that somehow, she's preventing the Planet from healing again. She infects people... It's... It's strange."
