Show Me How To Lie....
Feeling better that she had agreed, he nodded to agree with her terms. "Tomorrow or your next day off. That part id your choice." he didn't want to rush her into it if she wanted time to think, but he also didn't want to put it off for too long. As for what, he wasn't completely sure. Dinner, probably, and something else. Maybe a movie? Yes, that sounded good; he though it best to keep it simple. "Dinner and a movie?"

Sky wasn't sure if there would be a second if it was going to like that. Movies were boring to her. "Tomorrow. Because I don't know when my next break I'll be able to have." She answered him. Work kept her away and it was hard for her to do this kind of thing.

Noting the shift of expression on her face, the teacher nodded to her confirmation of the date. "We can do something else, if you'd prefer." he offered, resolving to try and get a better idea before the day. He doubted dinner was the problem, she seemed content with steak from pretty much anywhere, and so he instead moved to movies. Maybe classics weren't interesting enough? He liked movies, never really having had the chance to attend any through the majority of his life, but he figured most people had had much better access to them growing up and were tired of them by this point.

Sky shook her head no. She wasn't going to answer. If she didn't let Adney choose on his own she wouldn't have a reason to finally give up later. "It's your choice." She answered him. She only stayed because of you.

Show Me How To Lie....
Growing a little frustrated with her refusal to assist in planning their date, the redhead let out an inaudible sigh. "Alright." he caved, still getting the distinct feeling that he should choose something else. If he managed to think of something before then, he would change his mind. Otherwise, he would stick to his original plan and see where that went. "I'll see you tomorrow, then?" it was phrased as more of a question, as if unsure.

Sky nodded before she disappeared in a wave of sand. He wasn't as confident as she remembered him. It would be a long time before she got that feeling back, maybe she should stay away again.

Show Me How To Lie....
Emerging from the bathroom in a rush of steam, the apartment's sole resident continued to rub his hair vigorously with the towel in his hand. His hair was slightly damp, making it appear lighter than usual; however, that still left him with a rather distinct shade of red. He wore no shirt, just a pair of dark jeans with his boxers just barely visible above his belt. Strolling across the apartment with the towel hung around his neck, he discards it immediately in the laundry hamper just inside his bedroom door. Today, he had a date with Sky and he wanted to look decent. He was anxious, unsure of how it would go over. He just wasn't sure if the wounds they had left on each other would heal well enough for this to work; they had parted on an awkward note yesterday, and this was the main cause of his anxiety. His expression was dark, an attempt to hide his nerves as he dug about in his closet for a proper shirt. Selecting one in shades of purple pinstripes, he leaves the top two buttons undone and rolls the sleeves up to his elbows. He didn't want to seem overdressed, but he hardly wanted to appear a snob. Rummaging about his bedside table for his watch, his frown remains firmly in place.

Sky didn't want to go and it took every muscle and brain cell in her body to get her moving. She just wanted a reason never to have these stupid girly feelings. She wanted to be the woman that Adney could love, not some girl who couldn't do anything. That was why she left the first time. She was just a girl. She didn't even know that he had messaged her. The girl lightly tapped on the mans door. Hoping he wasn't home so she could just leave.

Show Me How To Lie....
Hearing the quiet knock on the door, a look of confusion crossed his features. Sky didn't seem the type to knock so lightly, and so at first he didn't believe it was her. Crossing the room to the door, he twisted the knob and pulled open the door. His frown disappeared, and he smiled faintly. "Hello." he greeted her, his dark expression fading. "You look nice." his comment was genuine, and while his shoulders were slightly stiff, he did his best to appear casual. "Do you want to eat first or do something fun first?" he asked, hands moving to rest in his pockets.

Sky smiled. She was happy that he liked her outfit. She was afraid that it wouldn't make him think of her as a woman. At least this wasn't bad. "Well if we eat first then we may end up hungry after the fun." She answered. It would probably be a money saver to have fun. She started to play with her hair in a nervous habit. "I think it's best to have fun." She answered honestly.

Show Me How To Lie....
Accepting this decision with a short nod, he seems to relax a bit more with that decision out of the way. "Fun it is." he declared, stepping out of his apartment and pulling the door closed behind him. He had checked for his wallet and keys before opening the door, and they were tucked safely in his pockets. "I was thinking the dance club just off campus or the amusement park in the city. What do you think?" he asked for her opinion, hoping to get any sort of strong reaction in either direction on either of the options he had produced. After considering her reaction to a movie proposal, he had decided to consider the other options available to him.

Sky smiled. Both sounded like good ideas. But with her so unsure she didn't know if she was making the right choice when she answered. "Dance club." She told the teacher. She wanted to dance with him once. It was a great way to see if they still had anything in common any more. It was also a way to stay close. People wouldn't question them they were both adults as well.

With the decision made, the redhead nodded again. "Then let us be off." he offered her his arm, trying his hand at being gentlemanly. While he had never been to an amusement park, he certainly enjoying dance clubs. There was loud music and alcohol; what more could he want, other than a lovely woman at his side? The dance club nearby was a popular place for teachers and students alike, so there was a chance that he would run into someone that he knew. He didn't exactly look forward to it, but they should be ignored easily enough. Adney would be focused on his date with Sky, in an attempt to try and make amends.

Sky grabbed onto his arm. She was going to let him do what he wanted. She was going to watch him. She hoped that she was wrong and that she should stay with him, but she didn't want to be pulled around. The emotions were building up and they hadn't even left the dorms.

Show Me How To Lie....
Fumbling with the keys in his pocket a moment, he eventually unlocks his door and leads Sky inside. "Do you want a pair of my old pajamas to sleep in?" he asks, glancing at her a moment. He didn't know if she would be comfortable sleeping in her fancy clothes. Releasing her hand once inside the apartment, he closes and locks the door before moving into the kitchen to retrieve a glass of water for his drunk girlfriend. Returning a few moments later, he offered her the glass. "Drink this." he encouraged her, not ready to take no for an answer. She would surely have a hangover if she chose not to.
