Alcyone was glad that she was co-hosting a demon get-together with Sin. It should make school life much more interesting... Grinning, the water demon heard Sin mention it to Gabrian and she couldn't help but chime into their conversation. "Yes. There will definitely be food and drinks. You should definitely think about joining us." Smiling sweetly at Gabrian, Alcie hoped that he would consider playing his violin for them because she couldn't help but find herself wishing that he would play right now!

Turning to greet Lizzy, Alcie smiled and hugged her fellow demon friend back. Wow, there were so many conversations going on around them Alcie wasn't sure who she was supposed to be talking to. She didn't even really notice that the cart was unattended and there was no adult supervisor around until Lizzy mentioned it. "Hm, yeah he has been gone for awhile. He might have just.. stepped out for awhile?" Raising a brow, Alcie lifted herself up to look out into the sea of students to see if she could pick out the supervisor but not to avail.

She had to work very hard not to snort at Danny, talk about your hound dogs. She managed not to laugh at the was he slicked his hair back. He was oozing with enough self adoration that Sin hardly needed to add anymore. She glanced at Junko though noticing how she seemed to perk up a bit. Well good Junko needed to have a little more confidence in herself, and if Danny's flattery helped then he was welcome to stay and heap it on.

She grinned as she caught Christof's gaze, the way he raised his fists, what was he going to do punch her from across the train? She lifted her hand and wiggled her fingers at him in a teasing wave before turning her attention back to the group.

Sin smiled at Gabrian with clear interest and pushed a strand of hair pack carefully. "Of course there will be food and drinks, what kind of a party would it be if there wasn't! Maybe even a little music, oh if you don't care to play then we can convince Alcie I'm sure...she's pretty...mean on the guitar." Sin shared a smirk with Alcyone and reached up to touch the pendant she wore, a prize for surviving the battle of the bands. Then she glanced around noticing what others had, yes their supposed caretaker was missing. Well they didn't really need a babysitter after all, they were mature...alright well some of them were.

Ah, the throwing and shouting was for the old guy giving out stuff. "Hmm" Basil played with a strand of her hair, glad she was caught back up with the world. She aimlessly smiled and kicked her feet back and forth.
She vaguely noticed that there was no adults when she heard all the questions and it, but why would that matter? Nothing bad is happening, no one is acting up, so who cares.

She had to completely agree with the cat looking dead thing. This train ride was definitely entering the beginnings of chaos. But one could argue that made this train ride much more amusing to be a part of, right? LW smiled and went to reply but paused when the old man handed her something. What was this? Would it get her in somewhere for free? "Uh...thanks? I think." The she-wolfs tail twitched and she carefully tucked the card away before turning back to the boils.

"Don't think I've seen ya before. You new to the school?" Not that she would really know a new student from an older one. LW was still fresh meat herself, but she at least recognized a few faces that she had glanced at once during that student council event. The she-wolf shuddered a little thinking on that event.

"Names LW. What can I call you?" She asked of the creature she couldn't stop thinking of as the dead-cat-thing.

"I am actually not very good at social gatherings," came the reply as he tilted his head to one side; he was, in fact, being rather honest, which was amusing if one took into account he was currently surrounded with students and not doing too poorly, "I'm a touch antisocial, you see, so despite the fact the food and drink sound horribly tempting... I'm afraid you might find yourselves having to pretty much physically drag me to that meeting, if you wish to endure my company," Gabrian wasn't actually joking; if Sin and Alcyone wished him to be there, they might have to actually take him there themselves, but at least he was offering them an invitation to do so, which was no doubt as good as it was going to get.

"If I'm there, I'd be happy to play. I very much enjoy performing and singing," it was, after all, in his blood. Or something, he wasn't quite sure what it was. He could very rarely turn down anyone that wanted to hear some music or a song; it was almost beyond him, "The guitar?" he turned from Sin to Alcyone, "I know how to play that, though I'm afraid not nearly as well as the violin. I would love to hear to play it though; maybe we can do a duet," he wasn't quite sure how a violin and a guitar would sound together, but it was worth a shot - if all else failed, he wouldn't have minded picking up a second guitar.

Music made everything so much better after all, "Hmmm?" he turned his head to look around, noting that their previous caretaker indeed seemed to be missing, "I see no problem with the fact we're not being watched. I'm sure we are capable of behaving ourselves without need for constant supervision," a pause as he took a look around, "We don't seem to be doing a poor job at it anyhow," he still, however, couldn't shake off the feeling that something about the car they were in seemed to be off, and it certainly had nothing to do with the fact they had no adult supervision. No, it had to do with something else; there was an underlying feeling of... something, and it told Gabrian that things weren't quite right. He was trying to push that thought to the back of his mind, instead concentrating on the conversation(s) at hand.

Ren was bored. Again.

His attention drawn away from the weird neon cat...thing...and the reaper he had been speaking to moments before they had been interrupted, the Gryphon turned his head slowly, gaze moving across the people in the car with him. The Succubus, whatever her name was, still had attracted the most attention, throngs of people gathered around her, smiling and jostling as she batted her lovely dark eyes, a coy look on her face.

"Blech," said Ren to himself. He had no interest in the demons, especially not ones that attracted that much attention. That, and he really could have cared less that they were, in fact, unsupervised. It wasn't as if he were actually doing anything exciting in the first place. Golden eyes landed on a vaguely interesting spectacle - a dog attempting to free itself from the scarf which had gotten stuck in the seat. Ren eyed him for a moment, somewhat amused as he yanked and twisted until finally he was able to pull himself free. Keeping his feet up on the headrest of the seat in front of him (although it seemed as if the girl had moved and there was now some pale green-headed demon sitting there - was that a violin in his lap?), Ren said boredly to Winston "Yo. You new here?"

A sole bearded gnome burst into the fray, wearing a rather oversized hat. Apparently even gnomes could move a train car that was enchanted against students, it was a rather startling phenomenon as to why, if anyone actually thought about it. These cars were more like miniature student prisons than actual festive means of transportation.

"IT'S TERRIBLE" The gnome wailed, grabbing onto the nearest seat. There were three blooded gashes along his chest. "THE- THE... TRAIL... CHASER. AUGHHHH."

As he clutched his chest and passed away, one could not help but notice the captain's badge on top of his oversized hat. Wait, who was managing the train then?

“Very true,” Draven agreed with the scarecrow. “Going somewhere has to be more fun than not-and trains are a good way to travel.” Or so he had once been told. “They run on wheels that are on tracks so you can’t get lost.”

“Eracs,” the Mock Raven committed the name to memory. “Good to meet you.” It was a relief to find that he was not the only student who was quite new on the train. Sure, no one knew where they were going, but still, no one wanted to be the only new kid.

“The other person? Oh-the person who is supposed to be in charge? No, I hadn’t noticed they were gone until just now, myself.” Draven looked to the doors of the train car. “Though, there are not many places they could have gone, I suppose. Maybe they went to check on another car?” That idea made sense to Draven. He knew there were not too many other adults on the train, just other students in charge. “I imagine we will be fine until they get back, though.”

That was when the gnome burst into the car. “…or not.” Draven added to his earlier statement as he jumped to his feet, startled. A gnome killing Trail Chaser? What in Jack’s name could that be? Draven was far more concerned that than with the fact that the bearded gnome appeared to have been the one in charge of the train. Minor detail in his mind.

As the gnome rushed in, shouted, and collapsed on the floor, Gabrian peered curiously over the edge of his seat, "Then again... supervision might be rather delightful right about now," he blinked and made a slight face as he caught sight of the gnme's wounds, "I knew something was wrong..." he turned his head towards those around him, hoping they had some sort of idea of what to do. Hopefully some sort of idea that did not, in fact, involve bodily harm or huge amounts of violence, "This does not bode well," a pause, "What'exactly, is a trail chaser anyhow?"

Shrugging, Alcie didn't really care about supervision but it was more of the fact that if something went wrong, what were they supposed to do? And she was starting to get the same feeling that Gabrian expressed earlier. Something seemed strange....

Shoving the thoughts off her mind, Alcie blushed slightly as Sin brought up her guitar playing. "Oh no. I'm not very good at all. The band thing was really just really a one time thing." Smiling, Alcie was also wearing the pendant but it wasn't very noticeable because she had tucked it into her top. Man... the Battle of the Bands was one hell of an adventure. Wow, Gabrian was very musically talented though she was sure it ran in his family. "A duet

"Well, I would be happy (and I'm sure Sin wouldn't mind) to come and escort you to the gathering that night." It was important that they got as many demon students to attend as possible because this could be a potential ice breaker for any future demon gatherings.

Alcie heard the bearded gnome before actually seeing him and the bloody gashes on his chest. "Oh dear Jack." Muttering the curse under her breath, Alcie realized that the gnome was wearing a captain's badge on his hat. ... Who is the trail chaser? If it was the thing that attacked the gnome, it must not be good... And who was steering the train now...

It was safe to say that Faint has fallen soundly asleep, even among all the racket and commotion of the other students bustling around. The rocking, jittery motions of the train car had made his eyelids feel heavier than he could have imagined, and he was soon sitting with his head against the back of the seat and his tail curled warmly around his body. He was like a contented kitten.

Until he woke up...

The commotion upon waking was like being slammed in the head with a migraine. His slitted pupils narrowed as he furrowed his brows and tried so hard just to concentrate. Nothing he listened to seemed coherent and he was left just rubbing his palm on his forehead, trying to ease the fog that befuddled him. "What the jack is going on...?"

And then, out of the blue, came the bearded gnome that just jacking died right in front of him. What the... Was there even an expletive for his confusion right now?

Jamais blinked as her head peered back over the seat. "Well this looks unfortunate." She said as she watched him run in.

Her ear's twitched, "What's terr--" She asked curiously looking at the captain badge before she got cut off with by his screaming. Considering she didn't know first aid it was probably best to let someone else handle that. Her tail flickered.

She paused, looking around "Anyone know what a Trail Chaser is?" She flicked her tail looking around the group of them.

"Yeah... Probably. Hopefully, this trip would be uneventful," She forced a chuckle as she nodded at Alcie. However, she couldn't help but look a little worried; should they really be left alone? She had heard bad things from some of the students about the last train ride - apparently, Red had assigned some students to attack other students. It resulted in quite a number of casualties... Then again, she doubt this was the case, right? After all, they're just going on a harmless (as harmless as Halloween gets anyway) field trip.

Or maybe she spoke too soon.

She looked on, horrified, as the gnome stumbled into the cabin - ew, a gnome in the cabin! However, when she saw his captain's badge, Lizzy felt a little relieved... That feeling, however, vanished when she noticed his injuries. She shuddered at his 'warning', eyes widening when he passed out... Died in front of them. In front of a cabin of about 25 students. As much as she disliked gnomes, she had never thought of killing one, mentally or otherwise.

"Alcie... Did that gnome just..." She gulped, looking paler than usual as she reached out for the Water Demon's hand, "Did he just die?"

She looked at Alcie, then at Sin and at the boil they were talking to - maybe one of them could provide her with an explanation.

LW had glanced over at the...what was he anyways? He had a tail like a cat, but that wasn't what she picked up from him. A fellow monster? Whatever he was, he seemed exceptionally bored and she had to agree full heartidly with that. The train could use a little more excitement. But that was just the she-wolf's opinion. She was at least happy to have approached some students to talk with. Sitting alone and in silence would just about have killed her.

....
......

Oh CANDLEJACK! Did that gnome just...DIE?! He had come from the front of the train just out of the blue! LW's violet eyes widened as she stared at the thing. Wait...was that the captain?!

"I think...things just got more...interesting." The she-wolf said in a small voice that was border-line squeak levels. "You guys did just see that, right?" Maybe she was hallucinating. Like that night with the pink elephants.

Winston looked up as he was spoken to, leaning back in his seat and smiling. A nod. "Yeah, was it that obvious?" His smile was honest, but the teeth he flashed were sharp, almost like a dog's. "I'm Winston, nice to meet you--" he paused, a deliberate one meant to provoke a name.

A ruckus drew away his attention as a cry wailed out. He frowned at the quickly expired gnome. He was an observant boy, the patch did not go unnoticed as he leaned towards the isle. "So, ah, who's driving the train?" his hand pointed at the large and rather obnoxious hat. Not that he was say it was such out loud. It was rude to speak ill of the dead. And there happened to be a few "dead" on the train with him. No need to make an unwanted feelings to point in his general direction. It was a curious development. First their supervisor goes missing. Then a dying gnome speaking of Trail Chasers, whatever those were, and then promptly expiring. "Interesting field trip huh?" he smiled despite the circumstances to the student who had spoke to him moments before.
