A snow storm blew constantly threw the night,the temperature went below
zero and into the negatives. Warmth was not a common comfort they were
going to get. Inside Kohaku's tent Shiny was curling up into her lap resting.
Kohaku was lost in her own thoughts. "Are we going the right way? Will we
survive? Is Akuma well?"
Kake and Lisa were rolling around in blankets
while eating waffles.
Rya was talking to her brother and cuddling them in her
tent while having kittens stand guard.

they were starin at eachother, dissappointed that their behavior resulted in naoki sleeping in neko's tent, and them being forced to get along
the staredown commenced
they stared at eachother for hours, until finally envy screamed
"pillow fight!!!"
this caught melvin completley off gaurd
he started wailing on melvin as hard as he could with his pillows, eventually giving him a nose bleed.
melvin responded by pelting him with snowballs from outside
the fight continued until they heard a blood-curtling shriek
it was-

Rya,she had woken up from a dream. "IT'S A FALSE TRAIL!!" She wailed,
"IF WE DIDN'T COME UP NORTH,THAT VILLAGE WOULDN'T HAVE
BEEN SLAUGHTERED!!!" Rya cried and cried until everyone was outside
her tent.

envy and melvin ran out of the tent immediatley
bakura picked up his sister, who was still sleeping and woke her up.
"what exactly was the dream about rya? could you explain?"

"I-I can't explain it!" She shouted. "I WON'T!!" Neko-Chan followed Kohaku
into the tent along with Shiny and Lisa,to see what happened. The whole
tent flipped when a gust of wind hit-

thank god that everybody was inside. if they weren't it would have blown away. Everyone ended up in pile in the middle of the tent. Naoki was lucky enogh to land on the top of the pile.
"rya... you have to tell us what you meant" Shiny said, climbing out from under naoki's butt.
she began to explain
meanwhile
"can you remember me now akuma?" kagehime asked, hugging him sweetly, still disguised as kohaku; his hands and feet bound with a sealing jutsu. Nothing. she was trying to find out why akuma couldnt remember anything. she wanted him to remember all the horrible things she had said. she wanted to BREAK him.
"I thought that after a week your will would be broken, but i miscalculated. Somthing in your mind is MAKING you forget me..."
kagehime made sure that her best minion was gaurding the caves enterance, and concentrated with a hand symbol in front of her face. she whispered.
"forbidden style; mind invasion jutsu"
her hand turned black with claws almost 6 inches long. she walked back up to akuma slowly, like a psychotic killer, stalking her next victim. He looked absolutley hrorrified. she put one of her claws on his forehead, and it went INSIDE his skull. soon after, she had completley entered his mind.
there she stood. "akuma's mind is... quite interesting..." she looked around. there were three noticable parts in his mind. a movie theatre for seeing his memories, like all humans have in their inner mind. but two things were out of the ordinary; a cage with a large kyuubii (he was a jinchuriki after all), and a giant, red door with gold decorations all over it. It was sealed with a lock and a chakra seal.
"ive seen this before" she said walking up to the door. "hell, ive done this before! A memory lock technique. these are only used to seal terrible memories and secrets in the mind. only a handful of shinobi can even do this." she looked at the seal carefully, and ripped it off.
in the real world, her minion watched as akuma screamed in pain. flashes of random memories were going through his mind, and they were painful.
kagehime looked at the seal "kohaku... so this is where his memories are... he sealed them away!" she laughed evily and broke the final lock with her bare hands, laughjing so maniacally it could only be discribed as 'the higurashi laugh'
in the cave, akuma screamed so painfully that even kagehime's mnion felt pain. akuma sarted to look forward, eyes as wide as they coud be crying. the pain had all come back; the memories themselves were extremley painful.
kagehime appeared out of his head in a flash. "now do you remember me?" she grinned evily.
back at the camp
rya started explaining-

"It's false trail! We're going EAST!!!" Rya continued to breathe heavily. "WE
DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME!!!!" Is the last thing she said before falling sleep.

when Lisa stepped forward, her usual simple expression gone. "I need to tell you all something important." "Lisa, what's up? Did you grow a few inches?" Kohaku asked.
"Ko-chan, I'm serious....I knew Kagehime before this happened."
..........
"WWHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT?!?!?!"
Lisa bowed her head in sadness, a few tears dripping down on her dress. "But, Lisa, why didn't you tell us?" Naoki asked. "Because I need to kill her. She destroyed my clan, my home....."

everybody looked shocked. "everyone, pack up! were going... NOW!!!"
back at the cave, kagehime was watching akuma sleep. she felt a disturbance.
"midori! Grimchu!!!
two young girls walked up to her and bowed down.
"yes milady" said a tallish girl, about the age of 15 with tan skin. she was a fox demon. the other was quiet all the time, with big frizzy hair.
"they found out that we led them astary. kill them"
the two girls dissappeared in a puff of smoke.

The group began heading north,the cold was unmaintainable. They all
stepped onto a thin,snowy surface. Before finding out what it was,
"CRACKK!" The ice split into two pieces. Half of them were separated from
the others.

"NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I won't let that witch seperate us!"
Lisa expelled a light from her body, and the ice began to merge, but the stress was too much for Lisa, and she falls. Her body bursts into feathers, as everyone looks on, horror and confusion mixed on their faces. Then the feathers merged into a egg with a note attached to it. It said
Dear crew,
Sorry 'bout that! sweatdrop I used too much of my power, so I need to stay in egg form for a while. When I hatch, I won't remember you, so raise me until I evolve.

P.S. I'm a Pichu egg, so you need to be friendly to me.

Everyone was set into 3 three different groups: Lisa,Kohaku,Bakura and Rya.
Kake,Naoki and Envy. Lastly,Neko-Chan,Melvin and Shiny. Kake's and
Lisa's groups remained floating in a frigid sea,Kohaku's group was the only
one still on land.

Kohaku couldn't bear the thought of them being seperated.
"bakura" she said seriously "can you teleport other through time
"sadly i cant..." Kohaku looked extremley dissappointed. She knew what had to be done... she would have to use her special technique
Kohaku made a tiger sign, and her eyes changed from the usual red to gold, her entire body had a golden aura around it. A crescent mon carved into hr right arm began to glow.
"lunar style; flash freeze jutsu"
the water around them froze instantaneously, connecting everybody back together. Kohaku gave a faint smile, then collapsed, the mark fading.
"i havent seen that since we were attacked by wild bears" naoki said
"thats her secret jutsu style... and she used it when she was too weak to even walk without help." naoki ran over to kohaku quickly. everybody else joined. naoki lifted her sis onto her back and whispered
"i love you big sis"
"now... what are we going to do with this?"rya held up lisa's egg
everybody just kinda stared at it.
"well, i guess ill carry it..." melvin said "since i dont really do much anyways..." he looked at the egg ignorantly
"give it love and ill evolve? huh"
the group walked safely to land.
they were interuppted by a puff of smoke
two girls appeared out of it.
"my name is grimchu, and this quiet one is midori... and we are here to kill you" grimchu blasted fire at the group, splitting them into two formations.
"midori! you get that group with the wimps! I'll take the strong ones!"
midori nodded and made vines come up from under the snow.
the group knew they were close to the lair.
