Raising her guitar overhead, Betty blindedly smashed it in what she hoped was the...general area of this mysterious ???.
She dealt 2 damage to ??? and destroyed her borrowed guitar in the process. Whoops!

They might have been down for the count, but they certainly weren't out! If she could save them from a humiliating defeat, Nevena would do her best! Mustering what strength she had left, she did her best to sing a slow, soft song, doing her best to embolden her sisters.
Nevena healed Lady Gorgon for 9 damage!

This was getting out of hand. At least everything leading up to this point had been fairly straightforward, but now unnamed creatures with deeply disturbing auras of power were invading the stage and throwing their weight around. She was already tired and bruised, slivers of guitars and miscellaneous bits poking out of her hair, slowly being cleared by irritated serpents. The Gorgon trio had been thumped, whacked, blinded and deafened, but they weren't down for the count yet. Stepping closer to her group, Adelle grabbed one of the drum sticks nestled behind her ear, tossing it toward the haughty target.
Adelle attacks ??? for 4 damage. She also deals 4 damage to Lady Gorgon.

This was... just pointless at this rate. For whatever reason suddenly they were all pitted against one demon and DETENTION was now on the line. "None of this is making sense, first we play for judges, then we have to fight each other and JUST when we think that's all it will be as we end up pitted in a free for all you change the rules again and threaten us with detention?!"
She lifted her now ragged looking guitar and adjusted her 'borrowed' hat. The guitar had gone through two battles so far and this would be the final one it seemed. running towards ??? she pulled back and let go a wild swing.
Thankfully it didn't break this time.

Julian had retrieved his skellyphone just as the other challenger appeared. Why? He had gone along with fighting the other band (though he hadn't done anything physically to them, he'd been using his voice), he'd even been kind of okay with the free for all, though it had tried his patience in the end. He thought it would end with that Nox guy showing up. But now this? Fighting some random person for no foreseeable reason?
It was more than the poor harbinger could take.
In the future, he definitely wouldn't be signing up for any non-club or class activity. No matter how much his friends begged.
He lashed out with the device, hoping to do some significant damage.

Oh, wow. This looked like it was no kinds of good. Shine was getting pretty tired of fighting - and was worried that she might actually hurt one of her band mates or fellow students if she had another...episode again - so she opted for a song to raise her team's spirits. Especially Rain's, because she seemed upset, and Shine didn't want that at all.

Someone was playing a prank on them. A joke. A mean joke where people got hurt (on accident!) and groped (even more on accident!) and had things thrown at them (she really did deserve it though!)
The witch's eyes glowed a little bit more red than usual as she frowned at the figure on stage. Emily Device knew a little something about pranks. About ending up hurt or feeling stupid just because someone thought they were funny.
Well this wasn't funny. It was mean. And looking at her friends fighting and just plain disappearing, Emily Device decided that in addition to all the horrible titles she had gained since coming to this school, she was now something else. Pissed off.
Drumsticks in teeth, rage face in place, Emily dove toward ??? with every intention to make that candlejacking glitter humper pay for playing around with them like that.

It was any consolation, the strange "puppet master" had been entirely caught off guard. A couple of aggressive characters she could deal with, but not an entire onslaught at once. She staggered, faltering one step backwards, as if signaling defeat-
- Locks hiding a sadistic grin. "If that's how you want to play, kids."
Her Fear moved irregularly, disjointed, as if not really connected to her actions, sweeping outwards in a wide crimson arc, pushing all the instruments backwards with its shockwave.

Noxious was stirring, groaning as he tried to prop himself up. He looked at the perpetrator, and then on her fixated attention to the band.
exclaim Noxious needs to recover for one turn to launch a surprise attack, all band members, distract ??? with your attacks, the end is almost nigh!

If there'd been chaos before, it was much, much worse now. There was no more actual 'fun' to be had, and Morton dully noted that while this had not been what he'd signed up for, he hadn't minded the first round that much. This, however, putting everyone against everyone, seemed to be far too cruel for him to really enjoy - it all seemed needlessly... violent.
Of course, as soon as ??? had appeared, well, he'd finally actually had a target to aim at. Before her appearing, he'd only half-heartedly aimed at random people, without much actual will to hurt. Now though, he felt he could focus his anger satisfactorily onto the lady that had hurt not only him and his friends, but everyone on stage.
That in mind, he tossed a drum at her.
Morton of Dark Resonance attacks ???, causing 5 damage.

??? had hurt them all pretty bad. It seemed as if most of the band members were barely able to stand, let alone attack and Rain was no exception. She was definitely feeling the wear and tear of this battle and her strength was fading fast. She never knew she could be so exhausted!
She had to move forward though, she couldn't give up. She picked up her guitar and swung it as hard as she could in an attempt to hit ???. While she did land it hit, it hadn't packed nearly the wallop she had been hoping for.
