 Aura flew out of Luna's hair to stretch her wings in the warmth. Sniffing around, she didn't like what she smelled. There's fire here and Liliana's blood is in a lot of places, she telepathically told Luna as she sniffed the ground.

Solarus turned his head to the side and spat out the end of his tongue which he had bit clean off. He held up one claw for a moment before trying again.
"Where can I learn to call one of those? I have never seen a cat bigger than me before, and that was simply astounding." He was sorely tempted with her standing closer to him again, especially since it seemed that her bad mood from dealing with the bard had vanished on the ride.

"Something happened here. Aura, you don't know what happened do you? Is there anyway you can get in contact with Lilianna to see where she is?"
Luna turned back to Solarus, "Sorry, but it seems the person I've come here to meet isn't here. And the scent of blood is still thick in the air.." If I am Lolita

"If I can't sense her, I can't talk to her," Aura said. "And the only trace of her is the blood. From what I could guess is she was here with the other people and was attacked. From there, I have no idea." Aura sat on the ground and pined. She didn't want to lose Liliana so soon.

Aura stopped pining and put her nose to the ground. She followed the blood to the same piece of shore facing Port Hazel. "It stops here since the water doesn't hold the scent well."

"Tell me Dragonling, your scent of smell is better than mine. Does that scent continue on the other side of the water?" Solarus finally spoke again, seeing a way for him to be useful in this situation. Now that this water wasn't frozen, he could quite happily deal with it - and he had tested it with the end of his tail, it was certainly warm enough for him to enjoy it.

Aura lifted her nose to the air. "Faintly but it's there." Flying up, she looked around for a boat. "No boat but there's a cut rope like one was used in a rush."

"Good then." The large tiger-man strode out until he was waist deep in the water, then paused and looked back to Luna and the dragon.
"Be the guide and I'll be the boat. Water doesn't bother me unless it's frozen and falling from the sky. Shall we go?" He gave a feline grin that stretched his lips back and showed off his fangs.

Solarus looked up slightly when the dragonling landed on his head and nestled into the mane of hair there, then shrugged.
"I cannot say that I have noble dragonling. But this Liliana is a friend of Luna's, and that means she is worth finding, and if in danger, worth rescuing." One arm tensed slightly then relaxed, though it was doubtful that the dragon would notice.

Because she can just find that special quality in you that might be hiding. I think that's how she gets so many people around her. Good people. Even if they don't like to show it."

After taking a big whiff of the ocean air, however, he also was able to pick up another scent. As he got closer to the island, he saw two others there along with a dragon. "Hmm...?" Drew mumbled a bit as his boat bumped into the side of the island. Jumping out the boat, he watched the others. He didn't have time to talk at the moment, so he quickly scaled the towering island until he was ontop. The scent of burning plants was still adrift in the air. Drew pushed that aside as he walked over to the few books that were left on the island and looked through them until he saw the book for learning the Jian sword skills. Luna looked at the two. She stayed on dry land. She wasn't afraid of much, but she really didn't like water. Not this much water anyway. It would be fine if she were just getting a pail of water or jumping over a stream or something...but this was a lot of water. Taking a few steps back on the beach, she simply smiled to pass off her fear. "Uh...Why don't you two just head off. I'll stay here and wait for a...BOAT!" She pointed at the man who was rowing up to them. He didn't seem to pay much attention though. Luna turned and watched as he headed up to the top for whatever reason.
