"So that's why he looks so creepy..." YoonA remarked under her breath in Korean. She answered her daughter's question. "Not that I'm aware of. Is that all you need to know?"
Ilroché hated not knowing what was being said. If only Alexis's mother would have been French. Then he'd know what was going on.
"What did she say?" He asked Alexis anxiously, hoping that there was a way to avoid Hades completely.

Alexis shook her head. "Nothing that she knows of. We're running out of time." She looked anxiously at a shadow. "We'd better hurry." In Korean, Alexis said, "Directions or anything to Erebus's place? We can get to the underworld without any problems." She glanced at Ilroche unconsciously.

YoonA shook her head. She didn't know the exact location of Erebus's lair, just that it was in the Underworld.
Ilroché grimaced. From the looks of it, they'd have to explore the Underworld to find Erebus's place. He glanced at Alexis nervously.

Alexis met his gaze. She nodded. "Time to do some underworld exploring," she said bitterly. Then to YoonA, she said in Korean: "Thank you, mother. I'll...come visit sometime if you want me to."

Ilroché was pallid. Underworld exploring? This quest had gone from exciting to horribly awry in only a few short hours.
((Should we have Ilroché meet his father? That would be intense xD I might as well mention that after today, I won't be online until Monday after school...))

Alexis smiled gently at her mother. "Thanks, mom." She grabbed Ilroche by his wrist and pulled him out of the house. Once outside, she loosened her grip on him and asked, concern in her voice, "Are you alright? You look pale...almost as pale as me." Alexis shook her head. "We could try and find out a way to avoid your father..."

Ilroché couldn't move, he was frozen with fear. Luckily, Alexis pulled him out of her mother's house. "Honestly... No. I'm not alright. I'm pretty sure there's no way around running into my father. Especially in the Underworld. His dominion of all places..." He cut himself off before he could say more. He'd never wanted to meet his father. Or his mother. He'd decided this long before he found out he was a demigod. Being the son of Hades only made it worse than it needed to be.
He was a little angry that the quest directed him to the very place he never wanted to go. However, he couldn't just give up. They had a mission to complete, and he couldn't abandon Alexis to do it alone. He put it on a bold face and said: "I'll be alright. If we run into my father... so be it. The sooner the better."
((I don't know... make my choice for me. D8< Let's do it xD))

Alexis pursed her lips, grimacing. She knew that Ilroche was trying to be brave. She would do it alone - but Alexis knew that Ilroche will never let her. "Alright then," she said, squeezing his hand for reassurance. "I'm assuming that you know the way?"

Ilroché nodded. "Los Angeles. Some music recording studio. That's all I know. Never looked into it... for obvious reasons..." he squeezed her hand back and with a small smile he continued "I would shadow travel there, but I'd be out of commission for at least a day."

Alexis's eyes widened. "Hollywood?" She shook her head. "I could take us there...if you don't mind." Alexis raised an eyebrow at him. "Better prepare yourself; you don't want to get sick like last time." She winked playfully and closed her eyes. A sense of nostalgia washed over her, and she could feel herself dissolving.

Ilroché gave her a look of grateful contempt, if that is at all possible. Shadow traveling all the way to the West Coast from the East Coast would leave him too tired to do anything but sleep. Her way of travel left him unnerved but since it didn't tire either of them, it was the better choice. He swallowed his indignation and closed his eyes as he felt like he was melting into thin air.

They rematerialized in front of the big letters spelling out "Hollywood". Alexis let go of his hand and looked at the letters warily. "What do we do now?"

Ilroché pondered for a second, suddenly remembering the name of the studio. "DOA Recording Studios. We need to find it. It's somewhere down there..." He pointed to the general vicinity of L.A.
